During our first visit, my husband ordered the Reuben sandwich, which featured Hugo's homemade rye bread infused with olive oil and garlic, roasted on a flat grid plate. It was topped with homemade vegan salami, Russian dressing, sauerkraut, and melted Parmela cashew cheese. I chose the chicken Marsala, which included sautéed chicken breast fillets with a mix of mushrooms, garlic, and herbs, finished with marsala wine, cream, and butter, served with potatoes and steamed broccoli. To drink, we both opted for Xingu Brazilian black beer, a rare find in restaurants.
For dessert, we shared the Brownie Torte. The service was excellent—quick and professional—and the staff wore clean uniforms. The ambiance was cozy and not too noisy, and parking was easy with plenty of spaces available in a small private lot. The prices are a bit higher, but the quality makes it worth it. We highly recommend this restaurant.
We had a chance to speak with the manager, Valério, who was very professional in his summer suit paired with a bright lavender tie. He was attentive and ensured that everything ran smoothly. I also learned that several celebrities are regulars here, yet they are treated just like everyone else. This was a refreshing change, especially after experiencing places in New York where the focus is solely on celebrities, often leaving other diners feeling overlooked and underappreciated."
