"This is a hard review of the Waterford Lakes location on April 18th.. Celebrating a significant birthday we wanted a better than average experience so we selected Bonefish. To our utter amazement, we were seated at a nice booth with a view. As a few moments passed we realized we couldn't carry on a conversation between us due to a table of 3 girls/women on one side of us and another table of loud people behind us on the other side and a table of 10 next to us with several uncontrolled, loud children backed up against us. Looking back we should have asked to move but after surveying the place, there was nowhere we could escape the noise. So we ordered drinks that were good and had the gratis bread. After an appropriate wait, we ordered the dinner for 2 special. While waiting and still unable to speak to each other easily due to the numerous annoyances, we also noticed our beautiful server was stretched to far due to the area she covered. The meal was delivered, I had the Baja shrimp scallops dish and my spouse the trout. Mine looked great on a bed of noodles but was really not tasty since it did have a lot of visual seasoning but it didn't highlight the dish or make an impact. A shame because it looked like it was going to be a great treat. The trout was OK at first but came with no condiments. We asked for tarter sauce and after a delay was told they were out. Substituted red sauce but after a 10 minute wait it was finally delivered after a reminder, and by this time the fish was stone cold. I asked for a drink refill but that too took a reminder after a 15 minute delay. First restaurant I've been to in years where I even had to ask for a refill. By this time the 3 loud table annoyances were on there way out and we could finally talk. I know management can't control these rude people, The key lime cake was delicious but I was out of fluid again so we sat in quiet but disappointed at the experience. Should we ever return, we won't say since time sometimes removes remorse. By the way we tipped 30% since we know it's importance to service staff."
