"I was looking for a fast food place in Alexandria Bay while I was on hockey tournament! Coffeepot Cathy was great. The best roast beef sandwich on delicious sourdough bread all fresh also at 5:30! Nick uses all fresh ingredients soups are also his. Blue Heron coffee sold and they offer all the possibilities you would find in a coffee house. One of the few places that are open in winter, I know that it is here winter in the north, but on this beautiful sunny day I found my own guided tour delightful. Special thanks to Nick at Coffee Pot Cathy's!!! Five stars, indeed!!!!!"

"This review is postponed by an inactive page that I am on 15. May 2018 had left: New property, that is fantastic. Dinner there last Friday. We were a party of four and divided spicy roasted cheese curds as an appetizer while waiting, delish! Two of us had delicious turkey dinner, one had diced pork dinner with peppercorn sauce and one had a Portobelloburger. Everyone loved their record. Now comes the homemade cakes. All homemade by owner, Wanda. We had chocolate slag doodle and a coconut cream pipe, DOUBLE CRUST!!! Holy cow. Make sure you ask what flavors they have on this day. Service was efficient and friendly, come back to refill coffee a few times. Of course we'll be back. Well done, keep it on!!! A hat!"

"We came here after we were treated rudely by another business on the street. Our waitress was friendly and polite. When they dropped my fathers Steak in the kitchen, they were honest and gave him a beer and quickly made a Cobb salad for him so that he would not eat after we were done. He finished with a free beer and a free salad. They also gave us the new steak. You could have served us the falling steak without ever being wiser. Instead, they bent backwards to make sure we had a positive experience. Plus... the food was delicious!!! We recommend the steaks, Alfredo and Chicken!"

"Food was excellent... but a little lacked. I ordered the seafood over angel hair pasta and there were only 3 shrimps and 2 scallops and an appropriate amount of shells. For what we paid, I would have expected more shrimps and scallops. Prime Rib was excellent and a large part. The service was a little slow, but the waitress was young and seemed inexperienced, but she was very sweet and polite."

"Great spot. First was the poutine great fries and combo of gravy and cheese. French dip sandwich was awesome good size and tasty. Bacon Cheeseburger cooked perfect medium. Being from Buffalo the wings were some of the best I ever had crispy and perfect amount of sauce on them. Our waitress was awesome great personality and on the JOB!!! "We have a lot of restaurants in Los Angeles, but I won't lie. The lunch I just ate in the corn is the best lunch I had in a very long time. I'll dream about my fish sandwich and fries when I get home. My husband's hot meatball sandwich (on a garlic roll) was also perfection. Thank you to the whole band!"

"Sorely disappointed. Visited weds nite after labor day; greeted with sign that we will take you when we are able; waited about 20 minutes before seating; which was OK as we were warned. Not very busy with restaurant less that 1/2 full. 2 servers; friendly; probably owners. Many clean barren (of decoration) aquariums line the walls. Fish seem bored, but they are a fish, I guess. Got deep fried Mac&Cheese bites; very good. We both ordered Roasted Salmon with side salad. Side salad was good; small chopped up veggies on lettuce. Dinner was the big disappointment. Mashed garlic potatoes were gloopy pasty mush. The mixed veggies broc/caul/carrots were frozen mush. Large serving of salmon with a mild sauce; but the fish was dry and overcooked. I expected much better food here; maybe the other menu items are better."

"Excellent culinary experience for someone looking for relaxation and leisure. Great location to see the sunset over castle and river. I ordered the Calamari, Ribeye and Chicken Parm. Calamari needs work to be crispy. Ribeye was good, perfectly boiled but could use more salt, Mash patato could use more taste, but portion size was excellent. Chicken was perfectly cooked, inside tender and crispy on the outside, and pasta was creamy and delicious. Sparkling wine was refreshing. In everything and all this place deserves a 5 star as the view was beutiful, which for an excellent culinary experience. The staff is friendly, but this place needs more staff."

"This place is just from 1985, but it has a beautiful view. The buffet was $11,95 and included scrambled eggs (which were surprisingly good for a buffet), bacon, sausage, muffins, pastries, cereals, toast, pancakes and a bowl of real fruit (not the canned fruit in syrup). It had no Omelette Station. The service was top notch."
