"The kebab was filled without asking me. Then they said I said yes to everything. Afterwards I was shouted at by the staff. Everything was removed and the kebab was placed in front of me. Once again without asking what I would like on it. An absolute impudence, I've never come across something like that before. It's highly questionable whether you can run a business like that... so a lunch break without something to eat ends. Thank you very much and I would never recommend it again!!!!!!"

"because the mill still has the whole mill wheel and the construction to see and I have already experienced very good eating before, I invited my friend to eat there. we sat on a beautifully decorated table, received a wonderful tapenade to with and then. a delicious type of flammekueche as a greeting from the kitchen to begin. service by the woman of the renter / cook was very friendly, friendly and efficient. I ate an excellent egli (fish) filet meal with a varied and tasty beside dish. my friend enjoyed her pork cord beetle with latezli and a crunchy salat before. we had an excellent dinner with a pleasant conversation with the wife of the cook in this traditional, beautiful place with parking directly at the restaurant."

"When ordering menus I usually take frappe as a drink. It came to my attention that despite regular (medium), the drinks weights quite easy, definitely not 400g, as stated on the bill, as well as what McDonalds website says. So I checked the weight at home and found out that together with the cup drink weights 320g. Today I ordered the same menu as usual, frappe was once more bright. He asked McDonald's staff to weight it for me, first he refused, but in the end he brought scale. He was very confident until the weight balance showed 325g. He filled up to 400g without a word. I'm sorry, nothing. Then he continues to discuss with colleagues with disregarding me that I dared to question the service. What's wrong with McDonald?"

"My pasta was undercooked and the restaurant was not Italian. The vast majority was meat or fish with few pasta options that always included pasta or fish. For a plate of veggie pasta and half a liter of water it was 40. Virtually no vegi options, but you could ask not to have certain ingredients. However, the waiter was very nice and even offered me a glass of ice cream for free at the end. For meat eaters, the restaurant is probably recommended anyway. Although friendly, the basics in service are often not taken into account (sometimes served from the left, licking fingers and then passing glasses,... maybe in training? Order from Crappa, not cart brought to the table, just a Grappa. A bit of a shame in this price segment. Otherwise friendly nice atmosphere."

"I visited this Chinese restaurant several times as it is the weekly meeting point of my two lawyer friends in Basel. Whereas the selection is perhaps somewhat limited, the food they offer including daily menus are well worth the money. In fact the prices are more than reasonable and the service is superb and kind. You really feel that this is a Chinese-Malay family enterprise where the bosses are always present thus securing an impeccable attention."

"Another gem in Alschwil! Unfortunately we arrived here rather late but just in time for the last orders, making this quite a quick visit. However my Vitello Tonnato was delicious and even more so was my main dish of homemade strozzapreti with quality saucisse and steinpilz (porcini). My eating partner was equally blown over by the italian sausage with oven baked vegetables and potatoes. As a digestive I had the grappa Nardini which was positively bursting with fruitiness (but not sweetness) a beautiful experience for my palate!"
