"This neighborhood family-run restaurant is a hidden gem that everyone should visit. Excellent restaurant barely is enough to describe the experience. Full menu of traditional and unique Italian dishes. Wait and restaurant staff were exceptional friendly and helpful. I had the chicken parmigiana with vegetables (pepper mashed potatoes and green beans). The chef also gave our table a sampling of gnocchi. Please don’t let the neighborhood location and small parking lot scare you away. Find a place to park and walk (or run) in to get your fill of excellent food."

"I came to the area with a large group of 20 people and they were sooo accommodating! The waitress was super bubbly and kind and did a great job keeping track of everyone at our table. No one’s order was messed up, everyone got what they wanted, and what could have been an overwhelming experience with a large group was very calm and collected. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken and it was an amazing first Thai food experience! I can’t express how great this place is!"

"Overall, the wings were very flavorful and had the perfect crispy texture that I enjoy. However, I was a bit disappointed with the menu, which indicated two flavor choices for a dozen wings. It seemed like we only received one flavor each, and if they are meant to be combined, that should be made clearer. We ordered two dozen wings along with Jalapeno Cheese Balls, but we only received the wings, which was frustrating. When you spend a decent amount on food and tip, it's disappointing not to receive your full order. This experience is one of the reasons we don't order out often; it tends to be a hassle and not worth the frustration of having to complain. That said, the food we did receive was good."

"Amazing experience all around. Our server, Jake, went out of his way to pull unused tables together and create a spot for us.Jake knew the menu very well and gave great recommendations. Very professional service and always a step ahead.Our table had wings, a burger, and the salmon wrap. Everything was perfect. I had the brisket mac and cheese and it was exquisite. Brisket was very juicy and there was a TON.We loved the vibe. Very fair prices. Highly recommend. I'm an hour from Altoona but I'll definitely be making the trip again."

"The atmosphere is nice, music not too loud, the staff friendly and accommodating. The food was okay. I'm vegetarian, and while they offered a number of combinations, there was nothing that stood out. Food came hot and quickly, taste was on the bland side. I cannot speak to the specialties on the menu, though the grilled entree a fellow had at the next table smelled good. I had come here two years ago while passing through, and I gave them a second chance. On the whole, a good restaurant but I hoped for a bit more."

"I don’t usually write but this time I just couldn’t let it slip away. We’ve been coming to this location for over five years but this time was just too much not to mention. First a waitress came and took the other No good afternoon or any kind of greeting. She asked to take our order, not even offer water or anything else. I asked for calamari and was told They no longer have it. We then ordered stuffed Shell and a Ribeye steak. The stuffed shells were hard and tons of tomatoes sauce. The steak was burned to the core. The food was brought out by kitchen staff.We needed drinks and could not find waitress.We Never saw the waitress again until we had to ask for tab. Took five minutes to bring it out and to make matters worst the price on the drinks was totally wrong. We paid cash and left a $5.00 tip (too much, my husbands opinion) left and never saw her or anyone else. So we just left. Horrible Service. Tina A"

"the only reason I'm set a 3 because my mother and I, really got sick with salmonella after our meal from last Thursday. we're still sick Monday. we believe that the warm ranch dressing is the tattoo because the huh was extra crispy if it is not in contact with rohem huh some like. they only have to be extra careful in the kitchen and make sure that sauces are cooled like ranch. we need to take antibiotics now, so this did not end too well and my mother is 85, so it is extra hard on them. otherwise I just love to be extra cautious in this kitchen please! ps. please make sure that the kitchen people also wear gloves because it could also be the sellerie that is treated by someone who has not washed their hands (gross) and/or no gloves wore. we are sooo vey sick now this is quite painful and it all came out of cheek kitchen ate nothing and ate nothing since. they beat us in less than 24 hours and at the same time up to hour. see also the kitchens help?"

"Visited Altoona and got in late. Most everywhere else was closed so I opted for Papa John’s. Please forgive me as I forget the gentleman’s name who took my delivery order but he was very pleasant, personable and patient with me. I ordered 30 plain chicken poppers with BBQ on the side. 40 minutes (as he said it would be) they arrived. WOW! They were amazing! I’ve had Dominoes and where I live, they are horrible. I’m going to try the Poppa John’s near me. I hope they’re as wonderful. Great Job Altoona Poppa John’s!"

"Got a full order (24 wings) and a large bacon-cheese fry. They put the cheese for my fries in its own container so the fries werent soggy. MORE BARS NEED TO ADOPT THIS. They have a 3 alarm wing sauce meter on their menu. 1 Alarm is the lowest of their house hot house. 2 Alarm is a medium sauce, comparable to the heat of Franks Red. 3 Alarm is their hottest. As a hot sauce lover, its nothing too extreme for a heat wing aficionado. But if your heat tolerance is that of the average scale, then the 3 Alarm is something you can put some bets on. They also have the option to make your preferred flavor of wings have one of these heat treatments. I personally got BBQ 3 Alarm wings. Nice and crisp with a moist meaty inside. The wings aren't covered in sauce so if you like to dunk rather than dip, ask for a little extra when ordering. My only one star is that I asked if they could do half and half for the flavors of my wings, since they also have half orders of 12 wings on the menu as well (I wanted 1/2 teriyaki 1/2 BBQ). The answer was no, but I wasn't too hurt. Still got some amazing wings and I come back all the time."

"We order here once in a while and the food is always good but it’s never what I ordered ?. Today we ordered a few roast beef sandwiches and mozzarella sticks with fry’s . We got one roast beef and 3 spicy chicken sandwiches lol . Don’t know why it’s always wrong but come on …… all comes down to whoever is in charge of that kitchen . Poor management ??"

"We were excited to try. We sat at the bar with Bailey as a bartender. A veteran on the whole way sat with him and mentioned that it was his birthday, so I paid his bill without knowing him. I heard he said Bailey, he paid the tip in cash, so when I signed my cc reception (because she asked me to do it right away), I confirmed that he already typed it. She told me he had it. Red flag #1. We ordered a bottle of wine and our dinner. Our salads came out quickly. Then... nothing. We wanted a bread basket. We ate all the bread. Then... nothing. People came, ate, drank, got their bills and left. Bailey wouldn't look at us. We made several bets. When our bottle of wine was gone, we asked Bailey about our food. She said she'd check it out. Something happened. 20 minutes left until she finally got up, she doesn't have to have the order. We're at this place for two hours. She brought us a check. I didn't pay for it. She has a manager who was less than apologetic. It sounded like it was OUR fault that the order was never filed. They composed the 2 salads and wine. And as if we were grateful. Probably will decide for a hot dog and a popcorn at the concession next time."

"the best Italian here! the portions could feed 4 hungry people so that rest of this amazing homemade food await. our favorites are chicken alfredo and the lasagne. the alfredo is all that should be alfredo, and the huh is not just a protein addition. it is grilled with great taste, which adds the sauce. the lasagne is cooked in perfect manner. the endings are crisp, the sauce tastes like it took all day to make and is reduced to the perfect sweet and thick. there is no other sauce that compares. the meal comes with these amazing homemade rolls brushed with strong well seasoned garlic butter and parm cheese. and one has to order is the mozzarella fruit appetizer!mmm a block of broth cheese perfectly roasted and shattered in the perfectly reduced red sose."
