"When you come back to your home town after 6 years, you will be happy to see what is new and at the time fear what has changed. Timber was always a home away from home for me. Whether it is the main rib or just an order of wings and a beer it was always exceptional. When my wife I met when she was manager at Timbers, started planning our trip home, we made a bucket list of people we wanted to see, places we wanted to eat, things we wanted to do, etc. Timbers has special significance for us, so it was on the list above. We are in town on Saturday and on Sunday evening we sat at the bar to order wings, a Timber Burger and beer. Unfortunately, my favorite beer was no longer on ****, but after Don explains why, I understood. He quickly recommended another beer with which he thought I was happy, he was right. My wife ordered the Timberburger. Perfectly made and just the way she remembered it tasting. I had the wings and like the times before they were delicious. We had the herb balls as an app. These tasty mortals were introduced during one of the Oktoberfest parties and have since been a cornerstone for the Meu. Strawurst and hamburgers, sour wort and cream cheese rolled in rye bread crumbs, deep roasted and served with 1000 Iceland dressing, you can 't go wrong, they are like a miniature Rueben Sandwich (BTW.... Beat Timbers Oktoberfest for a great German food. it is usually the first or second week in October. The family also went to breakfast on Tuesday morning (only because they are not open on Monday). Hands down one of the best breakfast places in town. On Sunday, get there early or expect to wait after the local churches get out. Here's a hint. Everyone loves elements that are on a secret menu. Because it's a secret. So I'll leave the cat out of my pocket. Go to breakfast and order the Irish Omelet. Crispy Corned Beef hash and cheese in an omelet then with more cheese. Simple, but brilliant. This place is simple, not unusual, not expensive and I never had a bad meal here. If you see the waiting and cooking staff that was here 6 years ago when you left, it says something about a place. I'll miss Timbers when we go."
