"In this place, we'll have a reservation on Wednesday. There was the Haxen and Spare Ribs evening. Well, if Männe can get Haxe....We always reserve for 17.30. So it's not full and when the restaurants fill, we're done. When booking, males have ordered a haxe for themselves. We were received nicely and led to the 1st floor. We liked it very well there. We could look from the gallery to the ground floor. The restaurant is so beautifully opened. I'm sure there's gonna be great events. Oktoberfest and the like. As usual, we first ordered beer from the barrel. We chose the Steig- Alm Helles. It is a Benedictine and very mild. Bright. It costs 2.80 Euro 0.3l . To the appetizer we both took the tomato cream soup, at 6.50 euros. She was nicely hot and seasoned with fresh tomatoes and a few bread cubes on top. It's an honest soup, without a lot of snuck. The soup is a little over the edge, since it had to be carried up the stairs from below. you can see it on the photo Männe got his haxe on white beer sauce, with puree and herb, to 15.50 euros. The haxe was huge and not only looked delicious, but according to my husband, it was also. The crust was super crisp. I guess the haxe was still short in the Salamander, because she was so spiked. Themeat was super delicate and also the sauce and supplements, were very tasty. However, he didn't do everything and let the rest be packed. So price performance, TOP! I chose the 300 g Rumpsteak, at 25.50 euros. In addition, the Pommes came to 2,50 euros, herbal butter to 2,50 euros and a bag of Mayo to 0.50 cents. So my main food came a total of 31,00 euros. First I swallowed, but the meat was perfectly fried and so tender that it justified the price overall. I always order Steak medium rare. However, as there was no liquid, I thought it was dry age. Since I would have liked to have eaten Kaiserschmarrn, but it was also a bit tired, I asked for a portion. It cost 9.90 euros and was extremely tasty. With rumrosins could have been more in for me; and a lot of eggs had been processed. The Schmarrn tasted really good. Conclusion : we had a very nice service, the food was super tasty, the ambience also liked us.....gerne again."

"In Marienberger Hof, we had of course reserved. Parking is available on the street. The hostess is very nice and totally uncomplicated. She talked directly how you got the beak. Very warm and open. Your service is also very nice. The establishment is simple and the restaurant is not very large. There were Radeberger from the barrel. Of these, we drank each 2 glass 0.3l to 3,00 euros each. To the appetizer we both ordered the panned mushrooms with garlic cream and toast, at 7.80 euros. I'm afraid that's a lot too rare. Was very tasty, but for us would have been in the cream, more garlic, pure. But we also love garlic and, of course, it is difficult for others to be too much. To the main dish, males chose the Westerwälder Krüstchen with Pommes and Salat, to 13.80 Euro. He asked what's on the cradle. The hostess told him that it is a parnated carving with mirror egg. (It also stands in the map. Nevertheless, he was disappointed. I don't know what he expected. Maybe still baked with cheese, but that wasn't the speech. He also knows, with a slice of bread still under it, but it wasn't the speech. Since he doesn't like dry fries, he asked for Mayo. He got on a small plate 3 bags of Mayo that were free. The side salad was dressed with a yogurt dressing. He tasted good. I ordered tape noodles with gogonzola sauce, zander fillet and leaf spinach, to 15.80 euros. Although it didn't look like that, the skin of the pike was surprisingly crispy. The Gorgonzola sauce gave the court a hearty note. So I was happy. It was not now the great art of cooking, but it tasted and we were fed up. If males had ordered hunter's carvings, he would have been more satisfied, he needs sauce, but he knew what he ordered. Conclusion : if you want to eat something cheap and do not have too high demands, it is completely sufficient. There is also a curry sausage on the map. In addition, you will welcome the hostess."

"Tief Henri makes us three hikers on this 16th. September the walking tour planning broken. It looks and looks. So we dispose, visit the Bad Marienberger Wildpark, climb to the small and large wolfstone and strip through the town where we can taste excellent cakes. At the height on which the Wildpark is located, there is a widely visible multi-storey white construction, the Wildpark Hotel, with a generously glazed round structure in the fifth upper floor. Shields at the hotel are a panoramic filming restaurant. We look closer to the hotel, study the hung-out menu and decide: here we go tonight. The Ambience The Wildpark Hotel is located off the noise and hustle and bustle at a height of 500 m in the immediate vicinity of the Bad Marienberger Wildpark. It is a four-star hotel opened in 2009. The hotel offers three restaurants, the restaurant Outlook, Piazza Leone and the already mentioned panoramic filming restaurant, which can only be visited at the weekend for dinner buffet. On the other weekdays there are only coffee and cakes. When entering the hotel we are greeted by friendly ladies at the reception. We go through a foyer to the restaurant view and are greeted by a young lady who we present our desire for a sixth table. We have not reserved what is not a problem. Could we take a seat in the restaurant back there? we still ask the young lady, because we have discovered behind the restaurant view an inviting piazza with olive tree, spice fountain and glass dome roof – Piazza Leone. All this is not a problem, we hear, prices and food are identical in Piazza Leone and in the restaurant view, we could choose a six table. We choose a table between a walled rondell, in which a cartiful olive tree grows against a powerful glass dome on the roof, and a semi-circular fountain basin, which fills a water-producing lion's head continuously. The floor of Piazza Leone is rustically paved, flower pots and terracotta figures loosen up the room with generously distributed table sets. Chairs with dark brown basket mesh and bright garden tables with Mediterranean ornament underline the Italian flair. Rings around Piazza Leone are behind an elevated Ballustrade access to hotel rooms, which is awarded by a pre-walled indicated roof projection with reddish brown roof tiles the appearance of home entrances. In this ambience we feel right, only right, when the wind, which whips over the heights of the Westerwald, lets the rain bounce on the glass dome. I rarely gave five stars for an ambience. Here I go. The service The young lady who greeted us serves us the evening by courtesy, fast, friendly and professional. It is sometimes supported by two other colleagues who act equally friendly and professional. Of course, ladies ask how it tasted us if everything was right. We are very happy with the service, he does a good job. Four stars seem appropriate to us. The food Our young lady handes us the menus right after taking the place. Some of us want an aperitif, where the service lady handed us an additional beverage card. As an aperitif, my angetraute chooses a Campari Orange (6,50 € as well as two of our hiking sisters. I choose a dry sherry (4,20 €). The menu offers regional, vegetarian, seasonal and natural but creative fines. For example, buffalo meat on melons Mangosalat (€10.50) is offered at the appetizers, quite naturally a beef boar with inlay (4.20 € in soups, rustics like a pink roasted bark with remoule sauce and roasted potatoes (11.50 €, but also food from the usual hotel kitchen such as roasted wolf sauce Children can choose from the children's card. The prices are partly in the normal range, actually amazing for the kitchen of a four-star hotel. But the hotel has the four stars and not the kitchen. In the following, I will illuminate the food for my wife and the food for me in detail, but I will also say something about the food of our fellow immigrants. My wife and I choose the same court from the card. We choose a mixed fillet (beef, pork, lamb with fried herbal potatoes and bacon beans (22.50 €). The aperitive is drunk, our service lady has a Blanc de Noir (4.80 € for us as a drink and a mineral water (2.00 € of the quarterliter). The wine and the water are served slightly later correctly tempered. We don't have to wait long for greeting from the kitchen. We receive six baskets each with six baguette slices and three reddish brown slices of tomato baguette, reddish brown probably because, in addition to dried tomatoes, tomato paste or juice has probably been added to the pastry. In addition to bread there is a white porcelain pot with tomato cream. All find the tomato baguette class, especially in combination with tomato cream, delicious, crispy and fresh. The normal baguette is also fresh and crispy, but tastefully does not approach the tomato baguette. In the meantime, the rain praces the glass dome of Piazza Leone, the wind whips over the heights of the Westerwald. We enjoy our wine in Mediterranean flair in Piazza. Nicely cozy, especially if it's uncomfortable outside. Our service lady table the main foods. The three fillets of beef, pork and lamb, slightly poured over with roasted sauce, are on a chop of green beans, which are obviously prepared with bacon, along with ten potato halves roasted with shell. A small tomato on the beans gives color contrast to the beans. The lamb and the pig fillet are cooked as desired medium, the bovine fillet has slightly exceeded this degree of cooking. The meat is well seasoned and has roasted aroma. We don't need to choke. We taste the bean wort in the green beans that have been prepared very tasty with the bacon. The potatoes are exemplary roasted, crispy all around. Excellent! , we both say when the plates are empty. Excellent also say our trophy brothers and sisters, and even unanimously. You have eaten: – Tomato soup under the peestosa cream at 3,90 €, – slices of pink roasted beef with remoulad sauce and roasted potatoes at 11,50 €, – slices of beef roasted beef in burgundy sauce with bacon beans and croquets at 14,50 €, – a large salad plate with made salads, herbal jam and beef roasted Everyone at the table knows, of course, that I introduce criticisms here at GastroGuide. Make five stars everywhere! Three of us six, my wife and two brothers, cannot resist a dessert. My angetraute orders – mixed ice cream with cream and additionally ice-creamed egg liqueur (3.40 € 1.50 (for the egg liqueur, the hikers order one – ice cup for black forests. The ice sounds good. The rating is not as bright as five stars. But it's four and a half as a minimum. My wife would like to finish with an espresso (2. € , I take a jubilee squavit (2.90 €). At our judgment on food there is nothing to shake: five stars, even if the ice is not so smooth. Cleanliness Even here everything impeccable. Blankets and plates are glittery, the tables are clean, the table linen is stainless and even the pavement floor is 1a clean. The same applies to the toilets, with the gentlemen as with the ladies, who look well maintained. Five stars we can forgive for cleanliness. The price/performance ratio There is nothing to interpret here. In some cases, prices are rather low than reasonable compared to the quality and quantity of food. Here you get good for his money, even excellent offered. This justifies five stars for the price/performance ratio. The conclusion We would go back to the Wildpark Hotel, especially in Piazza Leone. Without any restriction, we can recommend Piazza Leone – and because the offer in the restaurant view is identical – also recommend the view and award five stars for the overall impression. In the view there is not the Mediterranean Piazza atmosphere, but the view over the heights of the Westerwald, but only in the Hellen."
