"I happened to stop by on my way to Orange County and was genuinely impressed by how fantastic the food was. My husband ordered a large Asian salad, while I had the Southwest Chipotle Wrap, and we both enjoyed our meals immensely. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the service was quick, and the staff were friendly. The restaurant was also very clean. I'm really disappointed that it's so far from me because this would definitely have been my go-to lunch spot!"

"I was in the city to see the mandible flowers and came over this place on yelp. I was surprised and excited to find here a real Caribbean restaurant (purchased, I know very little about bakersfield). first eat. we ordered the Ruck chicken plate. they get jerking, tearing and raging, carving and fried plantains for $10. the chicken was moist and they can really taste the seasoned. the best part for me was the tangy sauce that he poured on the huh. I wish I had asked extra. they have a few tables outside with sun umbrellas they can sit and dinate, but most of them went through while we were there. barrington is the boss and the name of this hole in the wall. he was incredibly friendly. I couldn't decide if the brown stew chicken or the jerk chicken so he gave me a rehearsal. we had also been on the road and on the road and about for almost five hours and had to use the toilet room really badly. he was friendly enough to use our private bathroom that really saved us the day. He said he cooks traditional food like that since he was a young boy. his passion really showed up with every interaction he met. pity, it's a three-hour drive from me. If I'm ever back in town, I'll definitely come back to try curry or the ochs tail. my mouth watered now!"

"I took my publist to lunch celebrating our one year anniversary working together. Food was deliouis as usual, bread was yummy and our waitress was very attentive even to the point to make a special plate . You never go wrong at Frugatti's Bakersfield. Their catering is excellent too!"

"I must admit, I was snobby and skeptical about sushi in Bakersfield and JIN Sushi proved me wrong and I'm better for it! I'll come back and bring more people. If you visit Bakersfield, you need to try JIN Sushi. It is really good sushi, great ambience, friendly service and affordable prices! If you're from Bakersfield, what are you waiting for? You have a phenomenal sushi bar under your nose. I sat at the bar and our server was so knowledgeable and friendly and very efficient. It was also a busy night, but I still felt no gap in service quality. I tried Nigiri and Rolls and they were all amazing. Some of my favorites were the Mackerel Nigiri, the salmon roll and the Baked Scallop Roll. My only regret. 1. I did not record our server on a Blue Fin Tuna special for this day. Life is too short. I'll do it next time. 2. I didn't know there was House Sake (warm or cold) until I had already ordered a bottle. But it would have been nice to try Jin Sushi. 3. My stomach had no more space to try other things on the menu. Next time Jin, next time..."

"it was a small family business. the food was fast and tasty the service was great. only what I did not like was a woman who had brought a dog and sat near me. I am allergic to dogs so that I do not enjoy the rest of the meal. I could understand if they would sit them on the terrace, but a dog in the restaurant was rough. the service was great and eating authentic. try the garnel enchiladas."

"Its one of those hole in the wall places that just have your jaw drop whole drooling. We got the pupusas lunch special, I normally get the queso ones, but they had so many more options then other places. The con todos are beyond delicious, my eyes were bigger than my stomach, I was only able to eat one. They also had specialty ones with asada and chicken shrimp. But those aren't part of the special. They do charge extra for more cabbage and salsa, but I get it. Definitely coming again to try the other pupusas and all their other menu items. Oh also the Pupusas con todo came out beyond hot and had me gobbling it down still lava hot. Sooooo mouth wateringly good. The server was beyond sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The area it is in, is a shopping center with tons of things to do. They also have a full bar and happy hour, with a juke box and tvs to watch sports. It was day time when we went, so I cant tell you how the parking lot is at night."

"The food was really amazing and exceeded our expectations greatly. Especially where reasonably priced, and the food was fresh and all delicious. "In the event my other 2 posts didn't post I must extend my gratitude to David, all who served me and the management who surprised me with a complimentary HUGE slice of carrot cake to take with me. I came to visit in the area for a couple of days and decided to have a steak and lobster meal accompanied with the yummy bread, asparagus and loaded baked potato. The steak was perfect...never enjoyed better in my 6+ decades. I saved half of the meal to take with me for the next day and enjoyed a brownie dessert topped with ice cream a scoop of whipped cream and oozing with deliciousness.! Oh my...I was satisfied indeed! Thank you all at Outback for a delightful time and meal. G'day to all who made a delicious memory at Outback."

"I would have given only 5 stars for the service. I wish I had taken the name of our server. She was attentive, on time. Tested often and with great timing. Felt really spoiled. Never had a need really as it was so up on everything. Rolls was just fine. I think it's overpriced. Nothing spectacular. Maybe decent. But her service has really formed from the lack of love for the roles. Wasabi was terrible. I like a hot spices and added a crazy amount of Wasabi yet no taste to it and no spices. Maybe they can't help. To be honest, I have at least compared the rolls with those of food storage rolls for double price. Only ordered rolls, maybe the other menu items offered more, I can't know. I definitely had worse, and also much, much better for less a ticket price. 104$ for 4 reels and 2 bottles of medium quality Saki. The money is much better elsewhere. The service deserved the stars here, or even roles were a 2 on its own."

"I come to this place 3-4 times a week for the same exact deaf order. each time. for the first time there was another group of hired, they were dissatisfied flat from the time when I called the order into the time of picking up. heifer was much smaller than normal, at the point I even mentioned how much smaller it was from one part. the worker was not willing to change the heel flakes or fix the part. says he measured it himself what it is. paid $7 for a heel flock that was completely mush, drastically less than normal rude coworkers."

"Awesome food. Orange chicken is the best. The chikn sandwich is delicious. Get the garlic fries for sure! Coconut horchata is sooo creamy. They have a weekend brunch menu, Phonudo (pho /menudo) is gooood. Only place in bakersfield where you'll find these foods in cruelty free form. Update: was awesome now prices have gone higher than I've seen things in LA. Im a local that cant afford to eat at Vida anymore. I can about once a month or less. Orange chicken plate is at $18 dollars now and I wasnt allowed to sub the brown rice which i dont like for vegetables. One meal for 25 dollars with a drink. Insane. "amanda was the person who took my order on the car thru, she had a bad job, I went shortly before 20 o'clock and she told me that they had no fried rice for the rest of the night. I also wanted to add an additional plate on the window when I paid because she had forgotten to add it, and she refused to add it and told me that I needed it to go back on the running gear. she offers me terrible customer service!"

"Went there 2 days in a row.. had the bone marrow burger, Fresno fig burger, jalapeno egg burger,n bison burger.. cauliflower bites, glazed brussel sprouts, osso buco ribs,n tomato dill soup.. all were super good.. the drinks were a lil more strong than the sweet mixed drinks I'm used to but they are very interesting n different, especially the Electric Butterfly that comes with the buzz button.. the mac n cheese balls n the corn dog lollipop are OK, just normal.. but definitely need to go back for some more of that bone marrow burger.. customer service have been great the 2 times I went..n I wouldn't ask other people if I should sit inside or outside cause everybody has different tolerance to the cold/heat..u should know where u wanna sit!"
