"Okay we had a great time for my birthday. I made the reservation as a birthday but no one said happy birthday. I know, I know, wah wah! But they could have, right? So I made the reservation for the patio but since the weather changed was rainy I contacted the restaurant via OpenTable requested an inside table. No response. But someone did call me asking about moving my table inside. Over an hour a half into our fun time when we were getting ready to order more food, we were told by the staff that our time would be up in 20 minutes that there was a 2 hour max on our time. I wasn't told about this when I made the reservation, when the guy called from the restaurant to ask about moving us indoors, nor when we were seated. So what would have been almost a 5 star review I'm sorry to say it's a 3 star review. I will recommend DC to friends but with this caveat."

"nice quiet atmosphere, but eating is not worth the money. they have some vegan pizzas. I had the vegan broccoli rave. it was pretty bland. I expected more taste, but the pizza was bland and oily. I was also not interested in the cashew creams they put on the pizza. the pizzas are personalized, and at $18 I expected it to taste much better. I'm glad I tried, but I won't go back."

"Another amazing culinary experience. It was my wife’s birthday and we were joined by friends. We ordered a starter of raw oysters, split the Wedge salad and then went into the bone-in Filet Mignon with Lobster Tail paired with a silky Pahlmeyer Merlot. Great service by Samantha and crew! One of our favorites!"

"The staff was very helpful and attentive, even though half of our party was late because of traffic issues. The food came quickly and was enjoyed by all of us. I had an amazing crab cake which had absolutely no filler. It was just jumbo lump crab with a delicious delicate flavoring and served with tartar sauce. The side vegetable dish of succotash matched perfectly with the crab. Others had a red curry and hamburgers. Three of us had a delicate but very tasty squash soup. the only thing that was at all wrong was that my sweet potato fries were still partially frozen. I was perfectly content with the crab and succotash, though, and the wait staff said they would relay the issue to the kitchen. I would highly recommend SoBo."

"so insane and unthinkable! unfortunately since my first time here I had to edit my assessment. while eating is good, the restaurant treats the neighboring street like its personal loading zone and constantly prevents the inhabitants from reaching their garage/travel. they emptie the **** from their food car into the gutter that has attracted to our gasse. I complained several times, but nothing was done to treat it. we're not eating here anymore."

"we had a wonderful time to celebrate the birthday of my friend at gunther today. eating was amazing, the service was attentive and fast. they even gave my friend a dessert for her birthday. we did not ask for it so that it was a wonderful surprise that they took this from the reservation to know. would like to visit again."

"We really enjoyed our meal at this buzzy ramen place, located at street level of the very swanky 414 Light Street building. There were both communal tables filled with chatty twenty-somethings as well as nicely sized booths and tables with families and couples. The waiter was very well-versed in the vegan options. For a starter, we enjoyed the Sweet Potato Roll magnificently topped with a crown of tempura green beans and the avocado roll, both very well executed. Next , we had some gyoza and the veg curry rice gyoza were really nicely browned and noodly, the curry was tasty but not high on the veg content if you are looking for that. The star of the show was the ramen really, really good. The vegetable ramen broth showed a depth of flavor that made it obvious that it was thought through and not an afterthought. The miso veg broth was just spicy enough to be fun without being overwhelming. Both were enjoyed with vegan noodles. Also, don't forget to ask for parking validation if you parked in the 414 Light St. garage would have cost us $24 for our 1.5 hour visit, with validation it was only $5. This place is a really nice option in the Inner Harbor area, which is getting better for vegan options but still not overflowing with them."

"Finally made it to the last of the three Ekiben’s. We decided to check out the linen night market event which was fantastic with lots of great food and desserts options as well as live music. It also was a beautiful day for it. Like the other locations this one has a small footprint but the food is phenomenal and the experience feels like one of Baltimore’s best kept secrets (although the it’s hardly a secret anymore haha)."

"For the price of steak it should have been perfectly cooked. My steak was over boiled and the taste was only dirty. Cheesecake tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for a while and not fresh. Waiter was excellent, but unfortunately the food was overpriced and simply blazed."

"a total of 3 times. 1 great experience, 1 mediocre experience and 1 subpar. the first time was famous for a worker who went and had a fantastic time w fantastic eating and service! return a month later w family for brunch and it was ok. all right. overpriced for biodiversity. I rushed to visit this past weekend sadly about the upcoming closure and it was a terrible experience. service was super slow. my caesar salad had casual dressing, glazed wings not glazed or spiced. the waitress (shannon) appeared flustered and discombobulized the entire 2 hours we extend there our visit. forgot, they weren't busy! "beautiful place with beautiful view of the inner harbour. friendly, professional staff. kayla, the manager, was especially pleasant and delightful. she goes around to make sure everyone takes care of her. she noticed that our table was empty and asked us if someone had taken our order. when we said no, and without asking how long it was, she treated us as an excuse for our choice in the house! we chose the smaller portions of two appetizers instead of the regular part of one. she still has the regular part of the two appetizers! that made us easy and made us feel very pampered. our waitresses were also nice and professional. the two appetizers were oysters rockefeller and fried oysters (here pictured together). so well designed and balanced to enjoy each ingredient. our entrées were the maine lobster roll and the maryland crab cake. both were fantastic. long history short, highly recommended and surprisingly affordable."

"I work at Best Western Plus Hotel and Conference Center on O’Donnell street. This is the ONLY pizza place that we trust and use. She guests ask us for me yes to nearby pizza shop places….this is the one we give them. When we run out we call them to get more. Every guest who orders from here LOVES the food and continues to order from Eastern Pizza every time they come. I always get chicken tenders and fries for myself and must say that the chicken is the juiciest and best tasting tenders that I’ve ever gotten from any location…and their fries are great. Ugh. They are cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of crisp and softness. If your reading these reviews trying to decide whether you should order from here…..then HERES YOUR SIGN! You won’t regret it. Everything is good and everything tastes fresh."

"We booked in advance for a Birthday celebration. Greeted by a very charming hostess he seated us promptly. Adam! He was amazing. Very charming, knowledgeable, patient. A1 customer service. Made great suggestions as for as menu options. He made his guest have a very happy birthday, we didn?t get to talk all of the pics because we really enjoyed our food. He ordered a the king Alaskan salmon with spinach and shrimp fried rice, I ordered the 10 oz filet-mignon with Oscar Louie (lump crab meat) with the garlic mash on the side. We had a baked Alaskan dessert that Adam lit on fire! With strawberry cookies and cream inside! It was amazing! They also gave us an customized birthday menu! That was it for me!"
