"I went to a baby shower there. I dont know about these Yelp events? The restaurant is divided into three sections. The first is the bar, The there is bar seating and then there is a bigger room. For this event the bigger room was over crowded so we sat in the bar seating which was in my opinion so much more comfortable because of the booth like seating. The wait staff was personable and the food which was sleected by the hosts of the event was actually very good."

"The first time I went to Ocean, I had a fantastic experience. The view was great, the food was great and the service was fantastic. I recently went for my second time and it was a very disappointing experience. The steak was overcooked and the waitress agreed, the brownie in the dessert was not warm, and our waitress forgot about us for about 15 minutes two different times.  we were also seated in a location where the sunset was blocked by trees. "

"Right for the birthday. Asked for 3 different subs on a record with all fixations and wanted them in 20 minutes... no surprise, I have exactly that! All cut into single portions, loaded with meat and lots of oil vin mayo and onions. All sub-specialists were polite and greeted with a smile. Cory runs a tight ship and is always on the point. She makes the best subs in a tub!"

"If you want to enjoy a pleasant meal on the weekend, I do not recommend this restaurant. The dining environment was crowded and noisy. My whole family haven't finished eating our food yet, and there was a person with a suit who should be the supervisor. The water and unfinished plates were taken right away. His attitude was very So rude, we spent more than 500 US dollars, they just tried to kick customers out within an hour of dining so they can accommodate next customers faster."

"This is my favorite pizzeria on LI! Despite changing owners, after the venerable Jerry (aka the Bayville institution) passed away, the quality remains unchanged. Thus, the food is still amazing. While I typically come for the pizza I've eaten here nearly 100 times since I was a young boy, the pasta and heros are next level and in a class by themselves. My favorite hero is the Veal Parmigiana. Their Sicilian pizza is the vest I've tasted! Even their desserts are great. The canolis put any bakery on Mulberry Street in NY's Little Italy to shame. I lived in East Northport, and we would drive 40 minutes once a month to eat here.....yeah it's THAT good! Vegetarian options: Lots of meatless options Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options a plenty Parking: There is a free lot across the street of you're unable to find parking out front Kid friendliness: This is first and foremost a family restaurant."

"First off the bad reviews seem unjustifiable. This amazing place gets so busy at times and the staff and managers always do their best to accommodate. I’ve been here several times and I’m happy to wait for the unreal views and stunning food. Let me start with the lobster roll: best one I’ve had on the island, cold or hot. My gf and I just had the mussels tonight too and whoaaa baby are those the real deal. Not kidding the lobster sauce they use is off the charts. Love this place, love James the manager and loved our server tonight Katie. We’ll be back as always. Try this place and you’ll love it!!"

"Friendly service, however our waitress forgot the sides I ordered, and we were still charged for it. (My husband didn't notice I hadn't gotten it and paid the bill that charged us for it). Food was pretty mediocre and bland, but maybe that's because I'm from Southern California and am used to authentic Mexican. Haven't found good Mexican in NY since we moved here, but I'll keep trying. I will say the mozzarella sticks were the best I've ever had, and the view of sunset on the water was beautiful."

"this cozy little crawl of a caffe is the hands down amazing. the hot foods and pastries are always tasty and good price. make sure to try a refresher or cold brew! "I asked my son not to eat here, he looks like this is Bayonne or Jersey City, where you can actually get food bcuz the person he had with the shrimps chow my n it smelled and even the crispy noodles that they sold in the bag were so stale and they charged a lot for them 1.75 the egg roll everything was rough of what a few they said after they try."

"Staying with my brother-in-law and had just flown in from Florida and had a late lunch. So we were looking for a Chinese restaurant in the area. Strictly a takeout restaurant that has a couple of tables in the waiting area. Everything in behind plexiglass. My wife wasn't hungry so she ordered just Egg drop soup and an egg roll. I ordered the King Po Shrimp , slightly spicy with all kinds of vegetables, good. Came with an egg roll and fried rice. I also ordered the WonTon soup which was like water."

"My husband and I recently had the worst experience here. We went to Bayville with our kids and stopped in to eat. The place was empty except for 1 guy at the bar. Our waitress seemed annoyed that she had to take our orders. After we placed our orders she brought out my daughters food rather quickly but then it took over an hour for my food and my husbands food to come. We couldn't even find the waitress to ask what was taking so long. She finally came over after more people walked in and said that it would be a few more minutes. Another 10-15 minutes passed before the food actually came. It was dried out and some of it cold as if it had been sitting under warmers in the kitchen for at least a half an hour if not more. She didn't even apologize to us or offer to take something off the bill. We asked her for the bill as soon as she brought the food out because the kids were getting restless and she once again disappeared. When she finally brought the check she walked away again and my husband had to ask the bartender to close us out. We will NEVER go back there again. It ruined our day. Top 3 worst restaurant and food experiences of our lives."

"Visited this place for the first time with my family (daughter has celiac disease) and was very pleased! This place is honestly the best place I've eaten at for GF options. Besides the gluten free options, the non gluten free food is amazing! But my daughter has been graving a grilled cheese for a long time and this place delivered! We've tried other gf grilled cheese, but this has been the best. They have a fryer that is dedicated to be GF. Which is awesome. The owner had 2 different breads to choose from, which was nice. I mean, everything about this place was amazing. The service was great. The food was top notch. I hate when places give you a pickle next to your grilled cheese and the pickle juice gets all in the bread... This place puts the pickles in a little container, so nothing touches! First time ever seeing this. I like ketchup at the table because I use a lot of it...at first I didn't see any, and got mildly frustrated but once our food was delivered, out came a full bottle for us. The prices are very doable. I wish nothing but the best for this place!"
