"There was nothing surprising or stand-out for our breakfast, but it was delicious and just the right experience we needed. It was good to support a small local business. It wasn't crowded, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. The people and service, though, was especially very good. Our server checked in regularly, and was vibrant and chatty the right amounts. I did not notice easy wheelchair access, though. There might be, but it was not clear."

"I love Long John Silver's so this was pretty depressing. First I understand the staffing issue with not many people wanting to work, but the line was literally wrapped around the restaurant and some people couldn't even back out to leave that were inside.I had five cars in front of me and four behind me and orders were being cooked one at a time so it was literally a 40 minutewait!! The speaker didn't work and there was a sign that you had to pull up and order at the window. The line was just adisaster! I ended up just sending my husband inside the restaurant from the drive-thru line and even then it took at least 15minutes or so!! With the food I know their chicken has a special type of batter and this happened to be very very crispy thistime and made it a little more difficult to eat. The chicken itself was also a bit tough, perhaps somewhat overcooked. The hushpuppies were definitely overcooked! Mainly a ball of grease and hardly any breading at all! My strawberry cheesecake dessert wasliterally thrown in with the food so it was pretty warm when it came time to eat it. I'm really sad when I say this but I wasoverall very dissatisfied with the entirety of it. Haven't been able to find many Long John Silver's anymore around where I liveand didn't like the fact that this one turned out to be a disappointment ????"

"The 1949 Tavern now has a coffeehouse starting July 15th. It's very convenient, right on the strip on Main Street in Beech Grove. Perfect for a quick morning stop. We were out yard sale-ing this morning and remembered seeing something about them now serving coffee on the Franklin Township chat. The owner was very nice and the blueberry muffin was delicious! They have a limited menu with just a few coffee, latte, and mocha selections along with a few baked goods, but the prices were reasonable."

"I travel for work and get bored of fast food but am not usually in the mood to try sit-down restaurants as a solo diner. Was excited to see how good Jordan 's photos looked, and I spotted a Pepsi Wave (freestyle) in the background, which is a big plus for a guy that runs on diet soda. It 's similar to a lot of hole in the wall fish and chicken joints, but this place is clean with ample parking! I went with the catfish on the cashier 's suggestion, and she was right, it was damn good! I typically skip catfish altogether but felt I should trust her Fries are perfectly crisp and the wings have a great crunch. At $10-$20 a person, it 's crazy affordable, too!
