"My family went to a restaurant for an afternoon tea to celebrate my mother's birthday on Friday. We called ahead 30 minutes, and the place was quiet and welcoming when we arrived. We each had a traditional tea set, which included a teapot, finger sandwiches, scones, and other delicious desserts, for $29 per person. We also ordered a few items from the a la carte menu. Everything was delicious - my mother loved her asparagus quiche, while my brother devoured his spinach quiche. The tomato bisque was creamy, and the cream of mushroom soup was divine. The raspberry cake was a hit with all of us, and the cookies had a perfect crunch on the outside and a chewy inside. The mini lemon tarts were delightful as well. I had the cream brittle tea with cream and sugar, which was heavenly. The staff was kind and accommodating, especially when we asked for meatless options on Lent Friday. They made us some delicious tomato and avocado finger sandwiches, along with egg salad and cucumber sandwiches. We also enjoyed the piano soundtrack, which featured classics and pop tunes."
