"The Nixe Restaurant, located in the basement of the same named bedroom boutique hotel, which is primely situated right on the promenade in Binz. The ambience is cosy and welcoming, actually reminiscent of a tavern, largely due to its stone walls in the interior....We went for the “Tisch voll” Full table in English, which is made up of small portions of a variety of delectably prepared dishes with creative tastes and flavours very pleasing to the palate. There were on the menu and these can only be ordered as from two persons. Each dish was a new flavorful experience of both meat and fish creations. Although the menu’s called “Full table”, the meals are served in portions of threes. We started with cottage cheese, nut flavored butter and marinaded veggies and went on sequentially to red turnips, beef tongue, calamari, plaice filets, braised sirloin, quail, venison and desserts. The various dishes were served with delicious accompanying side dishes as well as savory sauces. The staff was very friendly, the ladies was clean and the whole experience there was pleasant. A word of advice though, one should book days before one visits, so as to enable the cook adequately prepare for the right number of guests. We generally had a wonderful experience dining there."
