"It was shocking to see that this place is veteran-owned after leaving this place. We THOUGHT the experience was a positive one: great tasting food, two fresh beers, alert staff. However, after we paid, I was told the wait staff were bad-mouthing our not unusual party of 4 calling us a “loud large party” and “thankful we brought our own cards” to entertain ourselves. Our “large” group of a whopping two couples often frequents breweries and locally owned business around the San Antonio area, always leaving a tip and using manners each time. At no point did I get the impression that we were “too loud” or obnoxious and instead of addressing it maturely, we had to overhear it. Again, food was great, but not at the price of being smack talked by the staff in public for entertaining ourselves (because that’s the worst thing we could have been doing).
