"Can be a little tough to find the entrance for someone out of town, but worth the effort to find. Food is great. Once required a unique catering order due to work covid restrictions, and the owner went out of his way to meet them. Really easy to deal with."

"I had a great experience at this restaurant with a vintage atmosphere, which was a refreshing change from the more modern feel of the few remaining locations of this popular chain. I enjoyed a delicious meal of rainbow trout, caesar salad, and a baked potato, paired with a 20 oz Blue Moon Citrus beer. The restaurant was quiet and clean, our server was efficient, and the shift manager even stopped by to make sure we were happy with our meal. The service was prompt and friendly, and the meal was reasonably priced. I would give Captains a 5/5 rating."

"A great place to enjoy your late afternoon, the patio is beautiful, and the food does not disappoint. This time, we started with a savory burrata, and the only way to describe it is exquisite, the fresh mozzarella, the roasted tomatoes complimented each other perfectly. The arugula salad had a great balance between sweet and salted. The chorizo pizza was the best, full of flavor and the dough was just as I like it. The mia margherita pizza could be a little bit better,"

"Go to the Boca Chica location, they are consistent and give good service. At the Pablo Kisel one, I asked the guy (at night) that took my order to not put any sugar like 3x and they still put it in, I can taste the granules. The workers seem unmotivated/unfeeling. If you don't like your job, just quit my dude. They were fast at least but that's probably because they make the drinks however they want. If a zombie guy takes your order in the evening, just go somewhere else."

"love that they have a drive. the pizza was hot and smells delicious. 100% recommend the carne asada specialty pizza. as the ordering time needed, we were asked to park in front. not much time passed and a gentleman brought us our order. in any case will come again!"

"The food is decent, but the service is quite disappointing. They are rude over the phone and often put you on hold for what feels like an eternity. It’s frustrating because I can hear everything while I’m waiting, and it sounds like they’re just goofing around. The organization in this place is really lacking, and it takes an awful long time to get anything done. Additionally, the restaurant itself could really use a deep cleaning—it seems like they should close for a week to get it sorted out. Overall, I’d give the food a 3 out of 5."

The one problem is the chicken tender crust or whatever you call it was ripping apart very quickly and was difficult to eat. "From the moment my wife and I walked in we were welcomed by the staff with smiling faces and honestly it was like a movie. The service was top notch. We also had a gentleman who gave us a sample of pulled pork he had smoked which the table beside us ended up getting as a topping on their pizza! It was so amazing. Our waitress was spot on with everything from the food and the drinks to our leaving being offered to-go cups of our beverages. And may I add people ?. THE BATHROOMS WERE THE CLEANEST IVE EVER SEEN. which is a big deal for me! I love this place. It?s got an old southern country charm! Please visit !!!"

"this barbeque restaurant and market serves her meat from the pfund, ala cart style, so they can order exactly how much they want from the different. everything I got was perfectly smoked and had made great taste with the fat right. there are several house bbq sauces to choose and the sides are quite delicious. my only disappointment was the lack of makkaroni salat as a side. but you just have to worry about it!"

"Stumbled across this place on our way to South Padre and it was a cute place off the water. The waiter was very attentive and even gave us recommendations for when we got to South Padre. The music was on point and the fresh margaritas were very tasty. I ordered the fried mushrooms and the shrimp salad. Everything was really good. The mushrooms were the biggest I've ever had that were fried but it was was still tasty. Parking is plenty and they have an outdoor patio that was filling up. Would return if ever in the area again."

"I took the family for dinner today. We went from Starr County to see what the Vermillion had to offer and it was not disappointed! The keviche was great and the Mexican food was on the spot. The service was top notch! We go 3-5 times a year to Brownsville, just to get out of our area and we definitely eat there right away. Ohh, and I forgot to mention the prices are very reasonable."

"Worst managers in Brownsville. No customer service at all they need to get retrained or just not be in customer service. Even knowing they made a mistake with my order and I had proof there was no responsibility taken. Unbelievable. No wonder people are not going to Whataburger any more lack of customer service and poor quality. Never again."
