"We went to have dinner at this cafe. It is a French cafe so they serve French cuisine. For the most part the food was good. The Escargot Bourgogne, Assorted Artisanal bread, Beef Bourguignon, and the Crème Brûlée was good. My Stew, I forgot the name, which is basically a seafood stew was something I didn?t enjoy. It was bland . I had to put quite a bit of salt and pepper for flavor. We also ordered the Steak Frites, which is a NY strip steak. My husband and I didn?t"

"I brought a friend here, he was visiting from Calabria, Italia. We had the best time. He enjoyed the food, he said it was true Italian. The atmosphere was perfect, the staff is attentive, lovely and so professional. My friend doesn’t speak English- only Italian so it was an absolute delight to meet and chat with chef Matteo and learn that he and my friend are from the same region in Italy, in towns 20 minutes from each other. It was delightful. We enjoyed Monkey 47 gin and tonics at the bar. At our table we had a seafood tower, burrata, and a white wine selected by our waiter. Everything was perfect. I love that we discovered this place. I will return with friends and family while we live in the DC area."

"Amazing.it is now my favorite restaurant in DC. Everything was delicious and portions were generous. The sea bass was an incredible blend of favors and textures. The carrots were tender and delicious and the chocolate/rhubarb dessert was out of this world. Just like with the sea bass the combo of favors and textures was wonderful. The two of us shared it with two scoops of vanilla ice cream which seemed to complement it."

"We have eaten at 1789 numerous times for special events over the last 40 years and have never been disappointed until last week. We were there one month ago and enjoyed a superb meal which included the escargot appetizer which I was very much looking forward to having again. To my chagrin it was a different dish in which the escargot were scant and hard to find. The pork chop was excessively fatty. My suspicions were confirmed when I discovered the presence of a new chef. My wife had a lovely meal so all was not lost."

"Gosh we love this place ? easily our favorite restaurant in Capitol Hill and probably all of DC. It?s upscale but in a foodie (not pretentious) way. Everything is always beautifully presented whether you get street tacos guac or tuna hurache seabass. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and always has a great vibe and while the food drink is outstanding, thebest part is the service. Everyone treats us like family and genuinely seems to care about making people feel welcome andgetting the details right. Especially our favorite server Maria, who?s probably the best server we?ve had at anyrestaurant. Can?t recommend this place enough!"

"A true fine dining experience. Our main waiter Johnathan was amazing in explaining the menu. We decided to go with a 5 and 6 course experience. All portions are 5 to 6oz big but with 5 courses it was plenty to include a dessert. Everything was perfectly cooked with amazing flavors. They even made it very special for our Anniversary. We tried everything on that menu and every item was delicious. We will definitely be back."

"What a cute, dog-friendly restaurant in Cadillac, Michigan! Friendly service, tasty food. Outdoor indoor seating. My only complaint is that I wish they put real butter on the bread instead of margarine or whatever they use- it ruins the delicious bread. This place is so cozy and cute. I didn’t recognize it from the outside, but when I went inside, I realized I had been here several years ago. I really liked it then, too! Keep up the good work."

"Le Diplomate is an extreme disappointment. I went with 5 of my coworkers for dinner Thursday night. First, they completely forgot one of my coworkers meals. Second, we split the bill an even six ways. My card was charged twice and my coworker wasn’t charged at all. As a coworker group, the person who was charged is not somebody I can just ask to “venmo me” (they’re a VP and I didn’t notice the charge until checking my bank statement days later). Finally when 3 of us tried to order a final drink at the bar before we went home we were treated rudely by bar staff before being completely ignored. We let without getting served at all. Absolutely unacceptable behavior for a place that is supposed to be “exceptional”"

When we finally got waited on, we ordered drinks. After another 15 minutes we got up and left. "My experience at Tonic has always been enjoyable. I have dined here several times before heading to the theater, as it is conveniently located nearby. On this particular occasion, our waitress was attentive and took our orders promptly. However, after waiting for an hour, I decided to speak to the manager about the delay. Soon after, our food arrived and it was delicious, as always. I noticed that the restaurant had added more tables, which may have contributed to the delay in our order. Despite the delay, the manager was understanding and reduced our bill. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and will definitely return to Tonic in the future."

"Everything about this place was fantastic. The waiter was more than helpful and knew his way around the menu. They were courteous and asked us if we had any dietary restrictions or allergies and kept that in mind when we ordering. The food was phenomenal and the portion sizes were generous. I opted for the fries and the grilled shrimp to start and both were great. For the entree I was recommended the Chicken Milanese and it was prepared perfectly. For dessert I had the Lime Miroir, which was a perfect combination of flavors and followed the entree well."

"It was an enjoyable experience at Lost Society with decent food accompanied by okay mimosas the champagne was truly cheap and efficient service. However, the 20% service fee is not fair to guests at all, and I still expect a tip in addition to the service fee. A service fee is a fee that is managed by the service provider and should be covered by the management, not the customer. This is unacceptable."
