"Good selection of southern favorites with a pretty authentic flavor. Having been to New Orleans many times and having tried all of their well known ?best place for?? IMO, the flavors are right, that doesn?t mean they are great or that they may suit Bay Area palettes. We ordered a bunch of different dishes and they were all pretty good. Spicy, salty and some very peppery. I wasn?t crazy about the soft shell crab, especially since the gills and stuff where fried with the crab and not removed beforehand. I found the string beans overpowering with the amount of salt and pepper. Overall a decent experience where there was takeout or limited indoor and outdoor seating options. I would go back when I have a hankering for southern food. The prices are decent and food is pretty good. As with many places during Covid, service is limited and wait times can be long, even for takeout orders. With the table right by the front window, you can also see the cooks making all of the dishes, the kids got a kick out of that."
