"The food tastes alright and it was priced fairly. Nothing too special but the food presentation definitely added some points. The restaurant atmosphere was somewhat nice with a bar. It will be a good place to go with family and friends. Unfortunately, the service was below average. Our server was not attentive as he should and we have to rely on the busboy for extra services. Overall, it?s a good place to go if you are looking for different kinds of Asian food. We tried the curry, both yellow and green. They have Thai, Chinese, Cantonese and Japanese food served all in their restaurant. 4 points would be a fair score for Zen Asian Fusion"

"I can’t imagine that this place advertises itself as the place to go for southern fried chicken in Charleston. I had the fried half-chicken at a cost of $26 and it was tasteless, dry and a total disappointment. The kitchen service was ridiculously slow and the waitstaff inattentive. Two family members ordered skirt steak which they were “out of” and the restaurant substituted flank steak, which was terrible. Over $300 tab plus tip for an awful meal. Won’t be back . . . Ever."

"Such a great experience and time at O-Ku CHS. The service was incredible! We had people with gluten and dairy restrictions and everyone was so nice and willing to accommodate! They made sure to let us know which items had dairy or gluten, and even told us what we could change about the dish to make it for us! The food!!!! Everything was fresh, delicious, and so good!! The best sushi in Charleston! We will definitely be back. Thanks O-Ku!"

"The best meal I have had in Charleston (including Husk). The dining room is dominated by wood finishes including exposed ceiling beams and large posts. The lighting is on the darker side but the table itself has more than adequate light to see each other and our food. Very attentive service by our server and all the assistants. If we wanted something different or extra, it was not hard to get that. And her recommendations were right on spot. The food was delicious the essence of southern. The fried chicken was crispy, but not oily, and the meat was tender and juicy. Great sides as well. I will return."

"Took the entire family for a Thanksgiving Eve meal once everyone got to town. Everything was delicious, and the staff was wonderful. We arrived super early for our reservation, and I offered to wait in the bar. They didn't blink an eye, and pulled our table together in a jiffy. My mother in law is notoriously hard to please, and she flat out loved the fried oysters with deviled egg sauce and house made pickles. The short rib was great, the triggerfish was perfect. Two of our party split a whole order of the roasted chicken and devoured the whole thing. We all decided on ice cream for dessert the malted milk was awesome. All in all, another great meal at The Grocery."

"my wife and I ate here for our jubilee. I mentioned in the notes when I made the reservation that we would celebrate our jubilee. they sat us next to the musicians (which was the best place) without asking and also gave us a card with a happy anniversary wish. the personal was amazing and very attentive to us. the food was so good! we had both crabcakes for appetizers that were amazing. we also had halibut as our entree and enjoyed it. we didn't order desserts, but they brought us a teller with small selection of tasty with edible white chocolate with happy anniversary wrote about it. that was probably in my top 3 best eating experiences in my life! hopefully we can return one day again."

"they seem to have a lot of options that others have mentioned, but what they have on the menu is solid and it is perfect cat food. they are also able to modify their vegetarian dishes to make them vegan. they offer only sourded and pita as their vegan bread options, but the sourdough was absolutely delicious and went well with my burger!"

"We made reservations at this restaurant based on reviews and we are so glad we did. We were warmly greeted and wished a "Happy Anniversary" as soon as we arrived. To our surprise, our waiter John brought us two glasses of champagne to start off our celebration. We were impressed by the warm welcome. The food was absolutely delicious! We savored every bite, including the She Crab soup, fried green tomatoes, lump crab cake, and mahi mahi. Special thanks to Blossom and the staff, especially Johannes, for providing us with a fantastic meal and memorable anniversary celebration. We will definitely not forget this special evening."

"Wonderful! Fabulous! We dined on Oysters, steak tartar, clams with red sauce, the best oyster slider you’ll EVER eat, smoked fish dip, daiquiris, margaritas and fantastic wine. What a memorable evening. We were blessed to have the care of Kian, assisted by Allison. He was professional with excellent timing as well as a terrific personality. Thank YOU again Kian! The lights and music make you feel that you are in a fairy tale. Our server name was Lo and it was absolutely wonderful! Attention and friendly. "Leyla is a great place to go when you are in Charleston and want authentic Lebanese (as long as you are ready to spend a little more) because they had a special menu for the Lake Wee event, we could not get many things we wanted. They made us falafel and spicy potatoes, even if they were not on the menu for the night, because I told them I was vegan and was really excited to taste these dishes. I'm glad I was both amazing. (Falafel was the best I had) we also got hummus that was very good and shared the fat salad and vegan moussaka. My only complaint was the Pita was not warm, which is usually my fav part! The service was perfect and the food was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to return if I can order the full menu."
