"First of all, there are not enough positive words in the dictionary to explain how amazing this place is. I have been going to Ruby for many years now, as I was lucky enough to have a friend show me the restaurant back in 2013. Ever since the first bite I have been absolutely hooked on the incredible flavor, menu and quality of the amazing food they have to offer at this beyond perfect establishment. Their sushi is by far the best sushi I have ever had in my entire life, and by far the best in the capital region, without a doubt. The entrees are also amazing (the sesame chicken has a crunch and taste you will literally not get anywhere else) and the portion sizes are unbelievable as well. The entire setup of the place is also extremely unique and provides the perfect aesthetic for amazing sushi and more. Not to mention the unbelievably incredible service that is provided EVERY SINGLE TIME. The owners and staff have been nothing but nice every single time I have eaten here, and provide a home-like feeling when I'm there. I will always choose Ruby as the best Asian bistro in the area, and my favorite Asian bistro of all time. I love it, and if you haven't checked it out, you need to RIGHT NOW!"

"Went to Ragonese as google suggested it might be the best Italian deli in Albany. I ordered a Chicken cutlet w/proscuitto di Parma, fresh mozz, roasted red peppers, oil and vinegar on a mini sub. The sandwich was decent, however the mini sub was dry and almost stale. It’s hard to get AMAZING bread north of NYC. Very solid though, for the capital region and the level of service was top notch."

"I don 't know a lot about cheese, except that it makes for some of the best jokes. However, for a while now this place has been on my radar and a series of events (such as date night coinciding with the store 's late hours allowed us to come here and explore their offerings. It is a small shop, located on Delaware Ave. in a set of stores that is easy to miss if you don 't have a smart phone or a very observant wife/navigator! When we walked in it was obvious that this was a fun little store with a wide variety of cheeses. However, it wasn 't cold (as in full of fridge coolers at all but instead warm and pleasant. Which is also exactly how I would describe Mary, the woman who helped us. She walked us through several types of cheddar cheeses which my wife likes, providing samples and commentary along the way. Then, she made some recommendations regarding soft cheeses. They appear to only have one variety of Provolone (one of my favorites and it was quite good, but I do wish there were more. We decided to get a box filled with four types of cheese, two types of meats (beef sausage and spec , various fruits (strawberries, two types of grapes, blueberries nuts, corn nuts (a surprising but welcome addition! , honey sticks, and marmalade. All worked well together with the crackers provided and it was easily enough for two rather hungry and adventurous adults. I won 't lie... it wasn 't inexpensive... but for a special occasion it was certainly special. Going back, I think I would focus more on some of their interesting cured meats and other local items like jams on the walls. Go take a look at the EXTENSIVE list of items they have on their website as being in stock, and then wonder how anyone could possibly see them all in just one visit. It was a lot of fun and I hope to get back."

"I’m shocked to see such a low review for this place. This is my 3rd time getting cookies here and they have always been warm and soft. Sooo good. Don’t let some of these reviews turn you away. If you haven’t tried these, just take a chance and try them for yourself. I also got a pint of chocolate ice cream and my boyfriend got a pint of cookies and cream. He loved his ice cream until he tried mine. The chocolate ice cream is one of the best chocolate ice creams I’ve had. So creamy and chocolatey. So again, if you haven’t tried these cookies and ice cream just do it."

"I wouldn’t eat here. I’m annoyed at myself for even purchasing anything from this establishment. I called and order a mango lassi. Now I’ve had them before so my mouth was already watering for one. I get there… not a customer in sight. Cool… I’m going to be in and out… NERRRRPPP… I waited 5 minutes. Still not one employee comes up front. Ok… well I called them and told them I’m upfront waiting for the lassi. A guy comes out pulls the lassi from the fridge and puts in a bag on a table behind me. Now I’m confused because I’m standing in front of him waiting for him to acknowledge me. So I asked about the mango lassi and he tells me it’s behind me"

"Wonderful service is an understatement. I had a fantastic experience at Pizza Roni. I've come by in the past to grab a couple slices after happy hour but coming during the mid-day shows they are just as pleasant. The staff is friendly and respectful. Their work ethic is commendable! The manager Kasim, he's a great man who commend for his hard work at keeping this place afloat for 15 years. The pizza is nostalgic and it comes out effectively if you're on the go. If you are ever on Madison Ave and want to grab a quick slice, come to Pizza Roni!!"

"This place is not around the corner, but it's the only one closest to me. I admit I crave a Burger sometimes so I decided to take the drive to get a Whopper. I went through the drive-thru, placed my order got up to the window greeted the employee and handed her my card. She proceeded to ask me if I had cash! I never carry cash, I only carry my bank card. So I didn't get my Whopper! Here's the best part, this isn't the first time it's happened. The first time it happened I was nearby and just decided to stop. Needless to say, the next time I crave a burger I won't be going there! They lost me as a customer."

"Their eggplant parmigiana is the best I've had, and given that my husband is vegetarian, I've had many. He, having sampled even more, is also in agreement with this statement. The crisp is unreal, and yet the slices are not overly thin, but meaty! Nothingis burned. The sauce is perfect. The salad dressing is delightfully vibrant. I had the Rosanna, and a Negroni al Caffe, and bothwere delightful. When we were uncertain of a wine pairing with my creamy ravioli, the waitress gave us some samples and we endedup landing on the Gentil Hugel. The wine list here was so unexpectedly interesting! Portions were plenty and the ambiance wasperfect. We will be back!!! Especially since our gelato with the olive oil cake was forgotten in the to go bag... We have toknow what it tastes like!!!"

(Kind gesture). The plating of the food was done very nicely. Amount of food given for pricing was of good value. Food was delicious. Many options to choose from. "The staff seems constantly busy with their tasks, and it feels like they struggle to keep up. You have to remind them of what you ordered, and unfortunately, they aren’t very efficient. While the rush might make the experience feel energetic, it compromises the quality of the food served. If you’re looking for coffee or breakfast, there’s a Dunkin’ Donuts nearby. "This was the most disappointing place I’ve ordered from in a very long time, I was craving soul food and saw this place pop but and tried my luck and struck out. Me and my brother tried everything below and these are our opinions I’ll use a rating scale of 0-10 (0 being bad and 10 being amazing). Let’s start with the sides. We order collard greens but it got subbed for vegetable for the day which was cabbage, the cabbage had zero flavor no seasoning no even salt and pepper, extremely over cooked. Next side was potatoes salad again zero flavor. Next macaroni and cheese sadly this was super disappointing as well not a lot of cheese just noodles with minor cheese and it didn’t taste great. Lastly we had canned yams this was the saving grace for each tray the yams were great sweet and flavorful and cook to perfection. Overall the sides only 3/10 Now onto the main courses, the baked turkey wings are not good. The turkey had no flavor meat was tinder but again zero seasoning and texture wasn’t great 0/10. Next the BBQ pork ribs, very good loved the sauce and the ribs were not tough, but did not have a lot of meat. 7/10 with their signature bbq house sauce 9/10. Next we have the grilled bbq chicken, very disappointing the chicken had way to many charred parts and it runnier everything it was just burned underneath, sauce was decent but because it’s was so charred that’s all you could taste juicy on top and white meat inside 5/10. Lastly the fired chicken wings, these were amazing seasoned the flavor amazingly and fried them perfectly I’d recommend trying 10/10 with bbq sauce 1000/10. We did try their chili shrimp tasty but wanted more 7/10. Corn bread was bland 5/10. We ordered chocolate cake but I have to assume they ran out or got our order wrong, but regardless the cake they gave us was tough with no flavor even the frosting lacked sweetness and flavor. Sadly I wouldn’t order from this place again. But please try them out and from your own opinion."

"I was in Albany to see my granddaughter play in a lacrosse tournament so Saturday night after a tough day 1 I took my daughter and granddaughter to dinner at Cafe Capriccio. What a lovely place in a very old building so many dining rooms. They nicely honored my request for a more quiet table and sat us in a back dining room. Our waitress was fabulous very informative about the menu and the building. My daughter and I shared a lovely and not too expensive bottle of Vermentino while my 16 year old granddaughter had a Shirley Temple but it was a bottled variety and she loved it! The food was very good my only slight complaint was that there was too much tomato sauce on my chicken and eggplant sorrento. I'm more accustomed to it with more of a white wine/olive oil sauce but really covered in sauce.Their tomato sauce is excellent but it dominated the dish too much. We finished the meal by sharing one of the best coffee gelatos I've had here or abroad! If I lived in Albany I would be a regular!"

"I had lunch at Sabaidee with some coworkers today, and we were all very impressed. We were warmly welcomed by a friendly and attentive host, who also served our table. Each of us was served a delicious bowl of miso soup before we even placed our meal orders. I chose the massaman curry with tofu, and it was absolutely perfect! We all noted how rich and flavorful our dishes were. This was a lovely surprise for us, and we will definitely return to experience more of the fantastic flavors they provide. I highly recommend this restaurant."
