"* HANDY RECOMMENDATIONS* This place was recommended to me by a friend and it is hands down one of the best restaurant to go for Japanese comfort food. We drove from Philly to New Jersey for this restaurant that sits only next to a main street and it was worth it. The interior has a traditional Japanese style, with low ceiling and wood everything. Very cozy. Eat wise, forget the sushi, the gems of this place are their hot foods, dishes that I consider Japanese comfort food that only warms your soul with every bite. I loved each one of their hot dishes. Great taste, great portions and great price. DINNER Hamachi Kama (yellowtail collar) not on the menu, but you can ask for it. This grilled yellow tail collar is grilled for perfection, with crispy skin and super delicate meat. You can taste the freshness of the fish. It's simple yet delicious. Agedashi tofu I always wanted to try this dish and it was pleasant. The tofu was fried on the surface, and the fried part sucks the sauce just enough to add the taste of the tofu. The sauce was umami, but not too salty, you can drink it with the tofu. I almost treat it like a soup. Nasu Shigiyaki the Aubergine was huge. Chicken with fog taste went well with the steamed eggplant, the eggplants cut some of the umami taste of the chicken nebula so it works well. The interior was very hot, be careful. Chirashi pretty standard Chirashi. Fish is pretty fresh. *VERDICT* I'd come back to DEFINITELY if I got the chance. '"

"I have lived in Collingswood my whole life and I cannot believe how long it took me to come here. OMG. I would come back just for the creme brulé. Its the best I've had outside of New Orleans. The food was not the Italian that I'm used to. I carefully researched the menu and all of the pictures before I went. My dad and I shared the veal platter and the special of the day which was rabbit. It was my first time eating rabbit and it was delicious. I didn't like how many bones there were but that's not the restaurants fault. I also felt like their appitzer portions were too small. Delicious but tiny. I would come back here for sure! Edit: 01/28/2020 I came here a few weeks ago and forgot to update. This place is still just as amazing as the first time. Im obsessed. We tried the beef carpaccio and it was out of this world. Edit 01/03/22 Once again Sapori has out done themselves. My dad wanted to take us to a nice dinner so I chose here. They started with the bread. They no longer have that pate but oil instead. I much prefer the oil. Then we tried the two appetizers on the specials menu. Pork belt and the ox tail. I was expecting to like the pork belly better but the ox tail blew me away. My dad got the pork chop special. My gram got the Maiale Alle Mele. I got the Scallopine di Vitello. My brother got the tortellini and my other brother just had spaghetti with meat sauce. Everything was amazing. The tortellini wound up being everyone's favorite surprisingly. We all had a cappuccino. We each got our own dessert. For chocolate souffles and one pistachio Panna cotta. The pistachio kind of looked like a flan consistency but the texture was different than flan and everything was delicious than anything. We only come here once awhile because it's a price but we are never disappointed. I love this restaurant."
