"Bar Restaurant in Columbia Heights. The bar sits around 40, maybe 50 in a pinch, with more high-tops and stands around the bar. Tap beer selection is ok, with maybe 10 choices. The decor is modern and the place is bright, clean, quite new and well maintained. I have the impression that this is a pretty close ship. The mood on Saturday afternoon in December is atmospheric and friendly. When I arrived, a meat refiner was on the way. Four TVs mounted over the corners of the bar show different college football and basketball games. Sports is not really a focus, and I would not consider this a good option if you are looking for a place to watch a game. The strength of this place is the menu. The choices and their descriptions make your mouthwater. Pierogis and Pot roasts Note on Sarnas Polish heritage, but the menu is otherwise all-American. Burgers, Steaks, Walleye, Forelle, Tex-mex, Barbecue, Pasta and various comfort food choices including an old-fashioned blue plate special are some of the choices to decide a challenge."
