"I believe if you go someplace with no expectations, you can often be pleasantly surprised. That and a good attitude will make for enjoyable dining except at the worst places. Went here last Saturday night with my BFF. Never saw the owner but our waiter, Niko, was fabulous. Very knowledgeable on the food and wine. Both of which were excellent. It's a small place which can get crowded but I didn't find it cramped. Noise level was about what you expect from a small, open, busy restaurant. We tried 6 different small plates, almost all of which were fabulous. The Ribs being the exception as I've had better and the Kimchee Cucumber was way too spicy, at least for me. But the Tempura Shrimp with Sweet Chili Glaze and Honey Wasabi, the Fried Chicken Waffle, and Lobster Macaroni Cheese were indeed excellent. We also had the Pork Belly with Mu Shu Sauce (that night's special) and Zucchini Pancake with Osetra Caviar. In all we had a lovely time, in part to our waiter and in part to the excellent food and wine. The night ended with dessert, Madeira and coffee, the last of which had me wishing I could stick around. It came to the table in a small French press, dark roasted, and smelling like heaven. They're definitely not cheap, but for me, it was money well spent and worth every dime. We will definitely be back."

"These people really know how to cook Cuban pork chunks. They also know how to select the meat. Just the right proportion of lean to fat. This particular, meal however had a little too much fat. Ive had their Cuban Sandwich two times and I would respectfully request that they make a more traditional sandwich with wider flatter bread than the narrow skinny bread that they Use now. The rice and black beans were perfect."

"When I dined here with my beautiful girlfriend, I felt like a royal to leave the staff from walking all the way, with full tumbling went over and beyond! I will admit that at first I was hesitant with cooking my own food, but it was so much fun and the waitress mafe me to feel so comfortable with the concept! I can't say enough praise for The Melting Pot and his staff! We'll be back soon!"

"It took a while for someone to come over as the Hostess seems to be young and not so wonderful. However, we asked for our last server Dominick and he is amazing. Immediately brought us our water and bread, took our order and everything came out very quickly. He is new to the restaurant and he is a fine young man. Really happy he did come over when we motioned him and he took great care of us. The food was good... we always order salads and chicken, nothing to exotic but very good and the guitar player added a wonderful touch."

"beautifully made on the moon! had sushi last summer not had due to an unimaginable experience sushi, but moon thai japanese has restored my believe in the art of sushi? had the mere of the dear rolls, lemon octopus and a super fresh shrimp serumai. everything has been excellently executed! delicious combinations, artistically decorated and served with a smile. the place has a great mood and the music is just the right volume. enough to have private conversations without feeling as they are in a club, but enough to notice a large playlist fills the room. The electric blue lighting helps them to forget that they are in a stripe ball. I thought I was back in town until I got out. ? will be back because this is a nice walk back to the apartment."

"Fantastic Sushi and Thai food. I been going to Tobu for over 3 years now, and yet I still haven't been tired of their food! I always get the usual sushi rolls such as Spicy Crab, Spicy Tuna, J.B. Tempura, Volcano Roll, etc! So many to name and yet they'll so delicious!! I love the Pad Thai too and the Chicken Fried Rice is amazing!! Sometimes it takes them a bit long to bring out the food, but its worth the wait! It's a family owned business, very nice people. I tried many sushi places and this place is worth the money and portion size! The rice is nice and soft and very seasoned. Other places have tiny sushi rolls, like its for kids or something. The rolls here at Tobu. I have to bite it twice for me to finish it! If you want to try out a new place for sushi or thai food. This IS THE PLACE TO GO!"

"I had intended to get Greek food here, then saw the chicken and waffles. Holy sh*t. They are legit the best I’ve had and I’ll for them when ever I’m in the south(Carolina’s). The size is huge and freaking delicious. Also tasted everyone else’s food that ordered. The burger was great the chicken with the white sauce was bomb fries were awesome. I loved it all. Slightly understaffed (2 we’re trying to manage a the table service and bussing along with packing up to-go orders) but the wait staff was super."

"Overall, I could come back to Din, but the take-out process felt a bit disorganized for my first time. I put my order and when it was time to pick it up, there was a lot in front of the front door and I never even ended up in the building when I was helped. The hostess gave it to other employees who would come and go while waiters also flew in and out of the building. When I told the hostess I picked up a call-out order, she told me it was almost done and then I waited about 15 minutes when she sat several other groups down and then just disappeared. I had to ask another person the status of my order when the time went as I was? I asked another employee who was responsible for the boarding orders when she could check my order, and she got it in less than 5 minutes. Once it came to the actual food, we got two pizzas and one came out perfectly, while the other, larger, not so much. The middle was very greasy with the crust, which was put together from the oil, while the crust was completely burned and barely edible. It was a shame because the little pizza came perfect, so I just wished what I could? ve was so. The perfect was a simple cheese and the not so perfect was a pepper pot and mushroom that could explain the extra fat, but I? ve had enough pizzas to know that it should be?t soggy in the middle, just because of some peppers. Overall, spent for the money, I would probably need to try their pizza again, as I don't think my experience made it worth it."

"Not a fan of this place. First of all they messed up my to go order so I had to drive back and have them remake it ..... not a big deal but it just kept getting worse. When I got there they apologized and I could see right past their poorly forced smile and tell they were annoyed immediately. This upset me because I was clear about what I wanted and they were full of excuses. She asked if I was sure I said no tomatoes as if it was my fault (I was sure btw) then they tried to tell me that the tomatoes and onions I told them not to put on my food was actually salsa but it just looked like huge roughly chopped raw onions and tomatoes to me. If that was actually salsa it looked like one of the worst rushed salsas I've ever seen. They finally gave me my order and I went home a little frustrated. The worst part is that Mexican food is my favorite and eat it 1-2 times a week and this restaurants food was not worth the trouble. I wouldn't say it was bad food but I can safely say there are many way better places than this nearby. If I were you I would pick one of the many other great Mexican and Spanish restaurants in the area instead ... I'm sure the food and service will be better almost anywhere else."

"I've been here for years. I was very disappointed tonight. The service was terrible. The server did not bring enough bread plate and never came to fill our water again. He seemed to watch a football match in the bar. What was even more disappointing was the fact that, although we were only a party of 6 people, an automatic 20% reward was added on account. I think that's why our server ignored us, as he thought he was a decent tip regardless of his unstoppable service. It is disappointing because the food is good, but the abyss service does not make it worth the cost. I am so disappointed that this restaurant, which I have been awarding for many years, has so much reduced the standard of the service."
