"The best sushi restaurant ever! James Bon is a culinary artist with an amazing talent. The sushi was fresh, delicious and high quality. The Blue Fin was exceptional. We were privileged to enjoy several of James specialties. Love the warm and inviting atmosphere and stellar service. If you are a sushi connoisseur, this is a must visit. Don't forget to try the delicious fried cheesecake. If your truly a sushi conisuer (or however you spell that word) and you know what true fresh blue fin tuna is then guys you have to stop in and eat and make sure you tip your hat to James Bon, a truly craftsman, head chef and owner. Never ever seen a chef like him and his other two chefs are above top notch to his wait staff which are family. Great people, superb food and over the top employees.I can attest you will not beat this place-BEST DAMN sushi ever-thanks to my son for finding this place. "Ah, Kung-Fu Tea. I must say, this place is a real treat for those of us who appreciate the finer things in life. As I walked through the doors of this establishment, I couldn't help but feel a sense of superiority over the peasants who were just there for a quick fix of sugar and caffeine. But I digress, let's get down to the review.The first thing that struck me about Kung-Fu Tea was the overwhelming sweetness of their drinks, even when ordering half sweet. Now, I understand that some people may have a less refined palate and enjoy such pedestrian flavors, but for those of us with a more sophisticated taste, it can be quite off-putting. However, I must admit that despite the excessive sweetness, the drinks are still quite enjoyable.One standout item on the menu that I simply must mention is the popping coffee bubbles. These delightful little bursts of flavor add a wonderful depth to the drinks and are truly a unique experience for the senses. It's little things like this that really set Kung-Fu Tea apart from your run-of-the-mill bubble tea shops.In conclusion, I would highly recommend Kung-Fu Tea to anyone looking for a truly exquisite bubble tea experience. "After having moved to the area and looking for a cool place to eat, we've stumbled across this hidden gem. Boy, it doesn't disappoint. In the meantime we've had endless business dinners here as well as dinners with friends. The cocktail menu gets changed every so often, so I'll always find something new to try. The food is awesome. Atmosphere is quirky and I love it and the service is prompt and the staff friendly."

"Seriously does this restaurant pick locations like, hey this looks like absolute hell for people to get in to and leave, yup let's put it here. Texas drivers are bad enough, you also have insurance so maybe having this cluster of cars coming both directions is a bad idea. Make sure to lawyer up with accidents that could happen here. Parking: They set it up like an accident trap. 2 lines coming together from opposite directions. Make sure to lawyer up here if hit. Wheelchair accessibility: Good luck trying to get access."

"Was in town visiting family, Decided to bring my girlfriend here for coffee in the morning, the two baristas were super friendly, the vibe was great, and the brownie we got with our coffee was not dry at all! Sat outside and enjoyed Denton square. If I am ever in Denton again, I will for sure be stopping by!"

"Been here before and had a bad experience. Decided to try it again and they redeemed themselves today. Ate the 3 piece dark with beans, salad and sweet tea. Tea was on point. Chicken was small for the cost but flavorful, beans were great, salad was delicious and the roll (previously not mentioned) was soft and good! The mid afternoon ambience was good. Employees were on point and courteous. Fresh chicken in the pit and it was all a great experience today. Thanks and glad I decided to try it again!"

"We love coming to this OG Denton beer garden. The owner also owns East Side Drafthouse and Miss Angelines, all some of our top favs in Denton to drink at. Coolest bars in town. But OSDH is great for it's super chill vibes, ordering pizza from Mellow Mushroom (or wherever) to eat outside on the patio while enjoying your beer, twinkling lights, picnic and bar table seating, and right across from a free parking lot to avoid the main-square crowds. They also have lots of drink specials during the week, like Texas Thursdays $3 Texas drafts, $4 double Western Son vodka, and $3 TX Whiskeys. They also host a lot of great events here to support other local businesses/organizations. Bring the dogs, too!"

"The staff is warm and friendly. Very attentive. I ordered my food to go. I ordered a Gyro and Baklava. The Gyro and Baklava were delicious. The Baklava was a little sweeter than I was used to but that didn’t stop me from eating all of it! The pita bread for the Gyro was fresh and tasty. There was ample meat on the Gyro which tasted good."

"Fabulous! I have been to Layalina several times primarily for lunch though once for dinner. It is consistently fabulous! I usually get the dinner, either chicken shawarma or 1/2 chicken with the fattoush salad and hummus. Always plenty for another dinner at home. The folks I go with get other dishes and I 'm always thinking I 'll get that next time! but go back to my usual. Highly recommend!!"

"Update: Much better on 2nd visit. Burgers were sizable the sourdough bun was unexpectedly good. Still, it's crazy-busy so noisy you can't hear yourself think, much less have a conversation. (2 yrs ago) Was not impressed. The scrambled eggs were rubbery and hash browns were not browned at all.. like a pile of shredded, boiled potatoes. The staff were very good, but we obviously made the mistake of going at a peak time. The crowd and noise level were horrendous."

"I wasn't sure there would be good sushi options in Denton but was pleasantly surprised with this find. At first, I was leery of the place because a few people came in with no mask (smh, Texans and wasn't sure if people were going to be seated too closely. Well, let me confirm for those who are like me and want to avoid catching covid, that they spaced parties appropriately and I felt completely comfortable. I sat along the wall and they kept a table between each party. Since I was dining alone, I skipped an appetizer and went with my main meal along with sake. I opted for the unfiltered white peach sake. It was pretty good and not overally sweet. The Orange Blossom and Baja rolls were my selections for dinner. Both were very good! The baja was light and just felt fresh. I loved it. I love salmon so I knew I'd like the orange blossom. The service was also very good. Although, it was busy, I never wanted for anything. There was another server who checked in on me in addition to my own. There were a few other items on the menu that looked good so a return will happen. :"

"I am enjoying a hot cup of coffee with a delicious biscotti I purchased from the Rising Sun on Tues morning. I stop in regularly on Tues to meet friends and bring home a dozen homemade fresh biscotti to last me a week. Such a wonderful treat for biscotti lovers! Once you've been there you will begin to long to return for another breakfast or lunch. When I get these feelings I just get in the car and it knows the way. "Your prices just went up yet again!!! For 2 grilled chicken sandwhichs and 1 order of fries and 1 coke totaled 33.00 and 5.00 for a tip ... total 38.00. I'm sorry but those grilled chicken sandwhiches are not that great... We will not ever come back! I would rather go to Texas Road House and get a 6 oz sirloin, bake potatoe, salad and rolls for the same price! Good luck in your future endeavors!!!!"

"Ordered the 2 egg, 2 pancake combo with a side of fried Brussel sprouts and my mom got the grilled chicken sandwich with rice and beans. Literally such a good place. My 4th time here. You can’t go wrong taking anyone new here because they have everything on the menu. The fried Brussels need some salt or something or seasoning but either way they were fried perfectly. Pancakes were HOT and delicious. Grilled chicken sandwich was juicy and not dry at all. They know how to cook here!"

"I come here waaaay more often than I should lol. It’s a great spot for studying or just hanging out with friends. Their breakfast bagels are amazing and I recommend the iced love potion latte. If I were to leave Denton I think I would miss Jupiter house the most. I am sad they raised their prices again though"
