"ordered board online, tho I was in the neighboring hotel so I called and informed I would go over for pickup (that was no option on the online check interesting enough). asked for extra honey, utensilien, mayo. everything was as ordered. chicken pliers were very good. the bisque was good and the short-cake was good. even the side salad was happy. super simple transaction and everything as desired. very pleased w/ the entire experience. just knocking could fries were less than crispy, but not a freeze guy, it's not a deal breaker."

"The food here is amazing! The beef ramen with level 1 spice is so good and you'll easily get two meals out of your order! Seating here is very cramped though. They have mostly counter seating and two tables. The problem is the two tables are so close to the counter seats that you can barely pass through. The Wheeling location is bigger and has better seating."

"(Fr 7/29/22) On my assessment of last hearing and the Jibarito Bowls have become bigger! The same great tasting! Watch the video on my Google Maps profile page. (Fr 5/18/21) Jibaritos are a unique Chicago gem kitchen definitely a must try! Had Jibaritos in Maiwood and Humboldt Park. Fortunately, there are also restaurants serving Jibaritos in Chicago's northwest suburbs! Huge part of it to order Jibarito Steak Bowl. The taste has not been disappointed! Also ordered a page of Tostones. Garlic is right! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu."

"I hadn't eaten here in years since I moved out of state. I was in town visiting family recently, and I had to stop by... the food was as delicious as ever!! Prices have increased significantly in the five years that I've been away, so I was initiallyhesitant. However, the portion size was larger than expected and the food was yummy. Definitely worth every penny, and now Ican't wait to go back to town to visit family and Pita Inna again haha!"

"boston seafood was amazing. we placed our order on the table and then the server led us to indoor outdoor sessions in a tent. Although it was heated, some of the seats were somewhat colder near the window. we received free garlic bread and the server continued to fill the bread when we ran low. the service was excellent. the portion sizes are here enough to share with more than 4 people. I shared a seafood gumbo with 4 people and the server were impressed that we ended it. there was so much food and we were super stuffed. I have also tried to add the lobster roll loaded with muted lobster, but they can add a lot from the Mayo-based sauce to their preference. the grilled calamari had a slightly pleasant, charred taste. I would recommend everything I tried, but the seafood gumbo is a must eat. it was loaded with red snapper, grouper, calamari, garnel and crust fish. there are 2 stalls, but I went to the position of the plane. on a Saturday night there were many parking places. will come back to taste different seafood."

"Solid local place for burgers etc. Burger was actually cooked to my requested medium and was very juicy, thick, etc. Garlic fries were good too. With a little tweaking of the garlic parmesan seasoning, these could be really great. The chopped jarred garlic did the job fine, but a dried or drier, even more finely chopped garlic would probably adhere to the fries and the cheese better. Unexpectedly, they also have a lot of gluten-free options. I don't partake, but they are specifically serving their local clientele which is nice of them. No reason not to hit this place up if you live nearby. One small area for improvement would be to limit the restaurant clutter that spills into the dining area. Only real complaints is the benches used for booths. Get taller ones that are not covered with cloth, please."

"My friend and I are here. The best restaurant! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was superb, both managers came to speak to us. But it was the waiter who gave us the best dining experience. Edward gave us a lot of attention. Very pleasurable experience! If I could have given this restaurant more than 5 stars, I surely would!!!"

"I walked the customer service was great. I bought a steak taco salad. The meat was flavorful but something was off about the taste. I have had plenty of authentic Mexican food before never had anything like this. As I was eating I noticed 2 to 3 forks in the food tasted sour. I had the green sauce taste it by itself it was not good at all. I had to stop eating it and throw it way. 20 min later I’m vomiting all over the place. I wanted to try this place since it was close to my work. Never again!!!!"

"As someone who has no experience with Bulgarian food, let me tell you. The inside is so pretty! Our waiter was so nice. We brought in a cake and he gladly cut it up for us after our dinner. We ordered the salad with the cucumbers and tomatoes and cheese. Omg so good! The cheesy bites with the blueberry jam, delicious and my favorite! The yogurt with idk what….delicious lol. The chicken shish kabob and the Bulgarian sausage was so good!"

"We elected to dine at Gibson’s as we received multiple recommendations from friends. However, the experience fell way short. As for good, table was ready 15 minutes early, personable accommodating waiter, and sea bass was incredible. On the other hand, horrible atmosphere. Basically, the restaurant intended to put as many tables as possible in a single room, at the expense of any privacy. The surrounding tables were practically dining with us. Additionally, 14 oz filet mignon was ordered with high hopes but it was a big disappointment. As for my suggestion to anyone looking for options, STK Steakhouse, where we dined the night before, earned 5 stars in every single aspect."

"I ordered the steak and eggs. The quality of the skirt steak was very bad. It was very tough and has lot of tendons/cartilage. I had to chew so hard, i gave up and spit it out. For $24 the quality of the steak needs to be better. The coffee was not very strong. The eggs and hash brown were good and the service was decent. The restaurant was nice and clean. I will give this 1 more try."

"I 've been here many times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service. Went on 8/19 with my wife and a friend. Had dinner and a couple beers, food and service were both good. The one star review is due to what happened after I got home. It was about an hour after we left, around 8:30pm, my phone rang from an unknown number, and then I got an alert for a voicemail and shortly after, a text message. Both were from Roman at Countryside, who asked me by name to call him back but offered no other details. Very strange...my first thought was that i had left something, maybe my wallet, CC, etc. I called back the number (it was not the phone number listed for Countryside online, I believe it was Roman 's personal number) and Roman answered and explained that after we left, our server had accidentally voided the transaction instead of adding the gratuity and finalizing it properly. As a result, Roman was trying to contact me so I could provide my credit card information again and they can re-run the transaction. Fair enough, mistakes happen, but this raised more questions than answers, specifically how Roman had gotten my phone number when only my name and the last 4 of my credit card were on the receipt. He said that a Des Plaines police officer happened to be in the restaurant, so he asked the officer to run my name and look up my information, and apparently the officer complied (which I feel is a whole different issue). Roman even mentioned that he knew the town I live in (nearby, but not Des Plaines). This all felt like a major privacy violation, and involving the police to look up someone 's personal information when they did nothing wrong seems pretty unethical. I said as much to Roman and he said ok I 'll just tell the server that we couldn 't get ahold of you and there 's nothing I can do . I told him I wasn 't trying to take money out of anyone 's pocket, just trying to explain that this is not how you should handle this situation. I gave him the CC info so he could re-run the transaction, he thanked me, and that was that. Overall, an incredibly strange situation that has left a bad taste in my mouth. Next time, it 's probably a better idea to just chalk the mistake up to poor training of staff and eat the $75 tab rather than leave a customer feeling like their privacy was violated. This was in our regular rotation of bars/restaurants to visit, and I don 't know that I 'll be going back after this."

"I've eaten here many times, and have always greatly enjoyed my meal and the service provided. Chef Giacomo does a great job of making unique and authentic Italian dishes at a reasonable price without sacrificing any quality. This restaurant is close to an hour away from my home, and yet I make sure to visit multiple times a year. If you like anything spicy, order the arrabiata sauce at a heat level of 8 or greater. It makes for a fun dish."

"So I really wasn’t a fan. The atmosphere for sports watching and hanging out with friends is ideal. The staff that helped us was great and fast given how busy it was. But, for a tap house I feel like the beer selection and especially draft selection was limited. The food looks incredible, but don’t let looks fool you. The mac and cheese was underwhelming and I pretty much only ate the chicken on top. It otherwise had no flavor. The trash can nachos were also underwhelming and just lacked flavor and the cheese sauced I think is what killed those. I probably wouldn’t suggest this place."

"The sushi was good. I enjioyed the various unique rolls they had. I've been having nightmares about the miso soup though. They give you this thin cup, but a standard size Asian soup spoon. It doesn't fit and you spend so much effort to get the tiniest bit of soup. I couldn't even drink the whole thing because i was so upset about the design decisions that went into this. Overall, would recommend."

"I have been in the free days for a long time (I have accumulated almost 2000 of their reward points) the company seems to fight, and today was a good example of why the site fails. with my partner at exactly 11:30 o'clock. no one at the door, we waited and waited, another group came and they waited too. they finally decided to enter the bar. it was seven minutes before an adorable manager appeared to hang shirttails to put us. nine minutes before we were even hit by a server that was only the 2nd server we saw until then. 21 minutes in our visit, we were brought our soft drinks. the load was practically empty. I had a simple request that I be served HOT frits at my meal. no surprise that this would not happen, but the server was happy, more. from the same batch obviously sit under a lamp in the kitchen. I don't expect much to be free, and I've got less on this trip."
