"We've been back to PT about 5-6 times since my review. I haven't updated sooner bc I wanted to make sure they weren't having an off night. The things that are consistently good about PT are concrete, i.e. the location and look/feel of the restaurant and bar. It looks as good as it did when it opened. It's hip, casual, and they play good music. It can be very busy with long waits, even on days that you wouldn't expect it. When theres a big game or special sports event on TV, its more crowded, and the patrons don't seem to leave. The food: it can be great, and then the next time it can be average. The pizza, which is supposed to be cooked in a pizza oven, hasn't been crispy on the bottom And was watery on the top. The nachos were great one time. The steak sandwich had huge pieces of steak that were difficult to eat/fatty and kept falling out of the sandwich. The waitstaff varies as much as any place, but I'd say only half the time we felt it was personable. I know It's difficult to be popular and keep the 5 star pace."
