"I'm over the moon for this restaurant and it's team. Four of us went to a 50th birthday party last Friday. We are all kinds of food snobs and were not sure what to expect. Every single aspect and I mean everyone was great. Greetings, seating, service and certainly the food. Heather our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, patients and on point. Great service. Now we're talking about food. The smoked goat cheese was so rich, a must try. The shrimp cakes were light, crisp and full of taste. The Vinaiigrette on the salad was delicious! The red fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The grit cakes and green beans were the most beautiful compliment and jammed with taste. My friend had the ribbed eye. Again, delicious and accompanied by the Duchess potato. Yumola! We ended with white chocolate, blueberry cake, cream cheese ice cream pane of the sky and the espresso shortbread cookies. Seriously, I could write volumes about how much we enjoyed our evening. And to drive it away from the cook, Lou, is not only a screaming talent, but also friendly and funny! KUDOS to the White Plate Team! We're back and we have friends."
