"Oh, dreamy Ettenheim, here's the time left! The place is dominated by the beautiful baroque church from the Kirchberg, around, representative citizens' houses are pushed into the city walls from the 18th century. Century. Century. A visit is worthwhile, lovingly restored building material, but still filled with life. No museum village like the opposites in Alsace... Right in front of the northern city gate is the historic eagle on Marienbrunnen. Here too, a gentle and professional refurbishment of the substance was obtained, including facilities such as the old smoker tower in the courtyard. There is also a very cozy beer garden, but we moved inside this year. Two very cozy guest rooms are waiting for the numerous guest bookings at Donato Tauriello. The tables stand tight but still appealing together, a large counter and a buffet with enticing spiritual drinks loosen the room. The adjoining room has an exposed natural stone wall and represents a (almost) in southern Tuscany. For Mediterranean is the kitchen theme at Donato and his wife Marion. While I cannot see this label at the regular reopening of bars, pubs and snacks in Baden, every carving with lemon carving gets the Mediterranean sticker, yes you can take this seriously here and enjoy it. Vitello Tonnato, Carpaccio with and without truffle, caprese and homemade antipasti laugh on one of the map and keep on the record what they promise. Perfectly prepared and presented. A whole menu page pasta, old acquaintances and interesting variations, here I would even eat Carbonara... The truffles Ricottaravioli did the race this year and were a great and tasteful perfection. The Baden part took over the asparagus fraction, classical dishes, but also asparagus salad with Gamba and Scallop were ordered. The ladies at the table at Donatos comments on the respective orders. A timbre like a sought-after dubbing speaker and genuine Italian charm certainly also contribute to the success of the restaurant. Also my wine selection is sufficiently praised, good for ́s Sommelier Ego... The dishes were perfectly prepared and dressed, only the sour note of the Hollandaise was too lemony. The menu of the season includes a Mediterranean dessert, the yogurt ice cream with mint and forest fruits was wonderfully creamy and wonderfully rounded on the day. The remarkable Grappa selection could not be tested for drivers who suffer this time, but the day will come..."
