"Visited this place for the first time since we were around the area. We were looking for some place to eat that opened early because my son's baseball game finished real early than expected. Hubby googled this place so we decided to try. We entered the restaurant and were greeted by a woman when as prepping sauces at a table. Assuming it was kine me the owners. Friendly. She told us to pick a table with 4 chairs. We then were served water right away from another elderly woman assuming it was another family member who owned the business. Cute and friendly. She didn't understand English but was able to say hi. Several different goes of pho, 2 different sizes. I ordered the medium size and hubby ordered a large size so he could share some with our son. He also had a bahn mi, my daughter ordered spring rolls and tempura. Pho flavor was on point. Filling. I was actually able to eat the whole thing. My son gobbled his up and asked for seconds. Luckily my hubby hasn't souped up his pho just yet with all the spices he usually adds so he gave my son some more. My daughter mentioned the tempura batter tasted a little different. Ate the shrimp but didn't care much for the kabocha which is her favorite type of tempura veg. She was a little sad. She loved the spring rolls. Thank you for your prompt service! Nice peaceful pho place to dine in early AM!"

"There is no such thing as a bad Frrrrrrried Chicken, but this Korean Fried Chicken joint called Kickin Chick 'N sure comes dangerously close! Lol! Located at the open air food court of the Ka Makana Ali 'i Shopping Center, you can find Kickin Chick 'N among several eateries in the food court. The menu is pretty simple as they feature Korean Fried Chicken, as well as breaded hotdogs, breaded shrimp on a stick. Since I was working in the Kapolei area, I figured I 'd give this chicken joint a shot as me likey my Frrrrrried Chicken! As I walked into the restaurant, I was greeted right away. After looking over the wall menu I decided to get a half order of wings (10 wings) and since I couldn 't decide on what flavor, I ended up getting both the Shoyu Garlic, Spicy flavors. What can I say about the wings? The wings served here are EXTREMELY SMALL! I 'm gonna say it again.......the wings served at Kickin Chick 'N was extremely small!!! I paid almost $18.00 bucks for my wings and I felt all I got was batter bones , because there wasn 't much chicken meat at all due to the size of those wings. Both the sauces that Kickin Chick 'N provided (Shoyu Garlic Spicy) were fabulous! I ended up using half of my sauces on my wings, then I was able to save the other half of my sauce to use it on some Fried Chicken when I got to Times Supermarket today. Lol! I 'm glad I gave this place a shot, but I won 't be rushing back here, as there are other KFC joints that provide a better value."
