"My friend encouraged me to try Asensio Coffee after raving about their white coffee. We went in for a quick drink before a day of adventure. It’s funny because I feel like most coffee shops try to stick to a modern aesthetic that appeals to millennials and Gen Z, but this coffee shop had maintained the vibe of the early 2000’s coffee shop. The cafe was busy (in a good way) and the majority of customers were Gen X and older, which has never stood out to me as much as it did here. I truly think it is because they have maintained the familiar cafe feeling of the turn of the century.Something cool is that the cafe is definitely environmentally and healthy living positive. There were lots of items, prepackaged, and fresh foods for sale, and they boasted of being ethically sourced, organic, compostable, etc. I felt better about my health just being here. As much as I love my sweet, sugary coffees, I felt like I was making a healthy choice being here! The staff were all very friendly and working quickly. The staff were all moving like a well oiled machine and serving drinks efficiently. The coffee shop had chalkboard menus and had a rotating seasonal menu.I ordered an iced white latte with strawberry and vanilla. It was made with real strawberry juice and was so light and sweet! Their white espresso paired with the strawberry tasted more akin to a naturally sweetened pink drink than a syrupy strawberry coffee. They also sell their coffee beans, which I will definitely have to return for."

"I have been coming here for years and always had amazing service. Usually go through the drive Thur. I came today because it is over 80° figured I'd get burgers and milkshakes. I ordered my food and they gave me my shakes right away. I sat with them and then realized my food wasn't coming soon. I had sat for about 10 mins. I stood at the counter and asked the woman if they could re-blend the shakes because they have melted. She said she didn't understand and didn't know what to do because they always give shakes right away and food comes later. She wasn't willing to blend them again even though the shakes are basically just milk now. I sat there ,nothing opened. It would have been different if I was eating there, but my orders were to go and not just mine. So they knew I was taking out of the establishment. I didn't open or drink them and they refused to make it right. I feel for the price we pay for the food, they could at least keep the shakes until they bring the food if it is to go or be willing to fix the mistake. I spent a little over $50 for two small shakes, two burgers, small onion rings and fries and a 15% tip. So I feel the very least they could have made them again for a hot day. I most likely won't be coming back. Edit: I live less than 7 mins away and all of our food is cold onto of everything else. So I had to blend out milkshakes again plus heat up the fries, onion rings and burgers. Very disappointed"

"I live and work in Seattle and come to Federal Way twice a year to see my dentist. Now that I've eaten at Lumpia World, I have no reason to eat anywhere else in this area. The service is fast and the staff are friendly. They minimize their use of plastic and ordering is very easy. Your order should generally be ready within 10 minutes of them receiving it.There are some complaints of a take-out only menu, but I personally had fun spreading the food out on my large dashboard and having a car lunch date. I got the chicken adobo plate and it's a large helping of food. It's not too salty and the chicken falls off the bone--so tasty you will eat the cartilage and everything. The pancit is so savory and garlicky my insides rejoiced: proof that if you spice food right, you don't have to use much salt to achieve maximum palate pleasure! I like to dump my rice into the adobo sauce after I clean up the chicken, lol.My friend got 20 piece lumpia: ginger pork and lemongrass chicken. Very crispy and delicious, and both of the sauces were fantastic. One sauce is sweet with chili pepper flakes and the other one is tart and mildly vinegary. We also both got Mac salad and it's my favorite one that I've had. Not too much sauce, and a slight smoky sweetness with lots of fresh scallions on top, and some pork flavor. I've had Mac salad at Marination Ma Kai in west Seattle, and also at Barkada in Edmonds. This is better than those places and cheaper, sooooo. If I lived near this place I'd be eating here at least once a week. Smaller streamlined menu usually translates into higher quality of the dishes. Lumpia World knows how to run it. Lumpia World 4 President!!"

"Update: 6/2/23 Service was EXTREMELY SLOW after my first round of so called unlimited shrimp. What 's the point of an unlimited entree when it takes 30 50 minutes to finally eat it. I believe they intentionally take long to give you any unlimited dish so that you end up only having 1 round but more than 2, which really, beats the purpose of unlimited. It was not even busy at all. We will not be returning to this location (Federal Way) until management does something about the slow service, especially when only half the restaurant is used and 20 30% is filled with customers! I will also be contacting their customer service about this. Update 12/28/22: There were so many empty tables tonight (around 6:10 pm). We waited a little more than 20 minutes to finally get a table. The table we had was not 100% clean. Lately, the overall service since October 2020, has been less than par at the Federal Way location. The price for their food when there 's no specials continue to get higher far too many times in a short period. _______________________________________ We 've only dined here once but have wanted to come back many times over the past 10 plus yrs, but couldn 't because we thought our son was allergic to seafood. Fortunately, over the years, he outgrew most of these allergies and had the biggest seafood feast on his 19th birthday! What a blessing to have dined here with all his grandparents. The expected wait time when I checked in was apprx. 20 25 minutes. When I called in to change my , the hostess said that we could be seated already. So at most, our wait time was 7 8 minutes. We were split into 2 separate tables because there were 7 of us, but fortunately, the grandparents were seated behind us and everyone else was far enough for safe social distancing. Our server, Semara (spelling error, I 'm sure) was absolutely wonderful. She was polite, accommodating and attentive. Her pacing was on point (from checking in on how we were doing to bringing food to both tables). Some of the menu prices are kind of high, but the taste/flavor makes up for the others. The buttery flavored sweet and spicy shrimps are a must have! The fried fish, not so much. It 's so nice that their bread is unlimited and delicious. We enjoyed our time dinner for sure (October 2020). Parking on a Saturday (the night we dined) was packed. There 's no advance reservations walk in only reservation where you give your name , which they 'll text you when your table is ready. Pet peave I just want to make known is, the tank is too small for all those lobsters!"
