"here before two nights ordered and wanted to check the place when the angry settled because you eat delicious. both pizzas were absolutely excellent after the reheating... but we waited 90 minutes, called the first time after an hour after the place of stay...and again half an hour later. only to say from the shipper that the total amount 't was enough to speed them up, 'next time order more and they will be it faster'. on the phone was told me 'we are really busy' when I mentioned that their own app 45min said that they had just updated the delivery time to the actual. I am not someone who regularly ordered, and I still consider deliveries as tasty, and I do not like a form of food waste..."

"I write the review in English so that foreign visitors can benefit from it: I found this place on yelp before a recent visit to frankfurt. after the fact, I noticed that there was no mention on tripadvisor yet, so that is the first assessment. this is a very beautiful place a little away from the auction in frankfurt. caters most people working in the opposite / living. a tourist would probably be lost here. the sushi and warm Asian dishes are presented in buffet style. current price is for lunch and dinner. I was sure that dinner was also some valuable sushi (e.g. maguro, unagi, ikura, hotategai, .., which were not presented for lunch. everything on the buffet was lovingly prepared and presented. this should fulfill most sushi gossips as it did on this day my did. They won't be top-of-the-line sushi, but they shouldn't expect that in a buffet anyway. the price-performance ratio is excellent and the ambience service is very pleasant and attentive. I can highly recommend. it is only a short tram ride from the center if they are a tourist and want to avoid the low- traffic and high prices of the city."

"Today (10.10.23) we gave up an order for the second time and were very satisfied, as was the last time. Order: For mini spring rolls (6 pcs, a Tom Kah Gai (pikant , fried noodles with chicken as well as beef by Thai type (scharf we have paid €30.20 incl. delivery). Delivery: At 17:07 a.m., it has already ringed at 17:25 a.m. at the door – which I personally find very crisp. The driver was nice and the stairs went to the 2nd floor. Food: The spring rolls were standard, but despite delivery still chessy and warm. The Tom Kah Gai was excellent and a perfect blend of sweetness, sharpness and acidity. There was a good balance of vegetables and chicken meat. The fried noodles with chicken meat are not only very meaningful, but also well tuned. In addition to sprouts, carrots, spring onions and green beans, there was also a decent portion of meat – with the amount of the serving almost for two people. That came to the noodles when roasting not only oil but also soy sauce, was clearly seen and tasted. A clear plus. The beef of Thai type I would have liked to have fried a little more, as I had the impression that it was cooked more in the sauce – but this is a matter of taste. Summary: For two appetizers and two main dishes to pay €30.20 is fine, as it has convinced us qualitatively. From 5/5."

"How did the local visit before an opera performance and therefore had to be there quite early, 6 pm. The atmosphere wasn't very cozy because nobody else was there. The facility is also very simple. So I was a little disappointed. However, after that we were very surprised at the absolutely delicious tappas that were brought very quickly and were very rich. We have not taken any of the main courts, but we are very satisfied and then very satisfied without rushing to the Bockenheimer Depot. Very recommended!"

"I agree with previous comments that the ambiente is beautiful, the service prompt and friendly. However, despite booking on the day before, they have grounded our reservation to secure a place. as an alternative to our much earlier booking we were told to come 8 if. it would be available seating, but had to wait 20 minutes. we live with corona and I did not feel safe as the tables were too close some had glass partitions while others were not. QR codes were on tables and any table I noticed was wiped off after each set of guests. I appreciated the beautiful service, but I will not be back, nor will I recommend this place to friends, as it does not really lack authenticity."

"It was only through pure chance that I first visited Tapas Locas and I am ever thankful to the other nearby tapas restaurant who, after booking a table two hours in advance, told us that we hadn 't called, eventually conceded that we did call but had given our table away and then told us to leave as they were too busy to seat us. Many thanks to them for their inefficiency as we then found this real gem of a restaurant instead. The menu provides a good selection of tapas to choose from without being too extensive as to compromise the freshness of the food, the portions are a good size and are fairly priced, the food is absolutely delicious and the drinks are also very fairly priced, with a glass of the dry red house wine (which for me works perfect with most tapas) costing EUR3.60 for 0.2l. Personal highlights of the menu for me are the 'Pimentos de Padrón ' (fried baby green peppers with sea salt), Mejillón en Vinegreta de Pimientos (cold green lipped mussels in a pepper vinaigrette) and the Pan y Allioli, which although simple to do, is made with the perfect balance of garlic. Tapas Locas is only a small restaurant so reservations are recommended but this adds to the cosy feel of the place and also ensures that you feel looked after by the staff for the duration of your visit. The staff are attentive without being overbearing and are happy to recommend dishes to you, which have proven to me to be well worth taking. Although the restaurant can get busy at times I have never felt rushed to leave to seat more people in our seats, in fact one time I even had to convince the waiters that we were just about to pay the bill to stop them from turning away more customers. This was my third visit to Tapas Locas, where once again I have felt welcome, enjoyed everything I ate and left feeling very satisfied indeed. Highly recommended."

"Portofino Ristorante Pizzeria Try what I had! Spinach and fine risotto stuffed homemade ravioli (on the menu as totelloni with a generous, peppery, buttery gorgonzola and sliced almonds sauce. An equally generous portion size of four large pastas continues to melt in your mouth...and never 'separates '. I even managed to taste my husband 's delicious bolognese inspired, amply cheesy lasagna. Although a wonderfully garlicky bread basket accompanied the meal, it mainly served as decor only in that we couldn 't eat so much. Desserts are homemade and the wine and beer are very reasonably priced. No room for dessert, sadly, but the suggestion of tiramisu was tempting. By the end of the welcoming and lengthy visit, at which there is no rushing by the staff, and after a futbol game on the outside tv in the semi enclosed terrace, the cost of meal, including one glass of the Montepulciano wine, two beers and a double espresso was just 34 Euros. This was our second visit in a week, and we were made to feel at home like the mainly local, regular clientele. It appears to be family owned. It is family friendly and dog friendly. Barking and smoking permitted. Our hotel (Aria Hotel , several winding streets around, yet nearby, suggested Portofino to us for what would be our first dinner in Frankfurt. (We had eaten authentic German fare for lunch also a good review. We shared a Margherita pizza, which was thick crusted with a tangy sauce and a little less cheese than I normally prefer. Again, it was more than enough for my husband and I to share."

"Wir waren heute das erste Mal dort. Ziel war es, nach Gartenmöbeln zu schauen wir wollten einen Loung Sessel und ein bisschen Grillzubehör. Ein paar generelle Eindrücke mit Sterne Ranking: für die Markthalle: Ein Traum. Viele frische Lebensmittel, die es in anderen Supermärkten nicht gibt, z.B. Kumquats und Creme Brûlée aus Frankreich. Wir haben Kaffee, Kuchen, Brot und Obst gekauft. für die Blumenabteilung: Super Auswahl, faire Preise. für Deko: Riesen Auswahl, viel Schnick Schnack, aber auch Designersachen z.B. von Eva Solo. Ich habe mir Teller und Schalen angeschaut, leider waren sie sehr verstaubt. für das Restaurant: Eine Hauptspeise gab es nicht für unter 20 Euro, der Charme erinnert an die Schwarzwald Welt im Erlebnispark. Grillabteilung: Sehr Weber lastig. Viel Zubehör steht schon länger. Kartons waren vergilbt und verstaubt. Wir suchten Rub, haben ihn dann aber stehen lassen: Alle Packungen waren bereits im April abgelaufen. Pulled Pork „Krallen“ gab es nicht. für Garten Möbel: Sehr kleine Auswahl, sehr stolze Preise. Am Ende wurden wir tatsächlich beim benachbarten Ikea fündig. Fazit: Wegen der Markthalle werden wir definitiv noch mal hinfahren."

"Wir sind an einem Wochentag als Gruppe eingekehrt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Räumlichkeiten erinnern an eine klassische Wirtschaft und sind dadurch etwas spartanisch eingerichtet. Der Lautstärkepegel macht bei guter Besetzung der Tische, die Gemütlichkeit und Kommunikation etwas zu Nichte wenn man nicht genau diese Art der Atmosphäre mag. Das ist aber Klagen auf hohem Niveau… Die Bedienung war durchweg auf zack und kein Glas blieb lange leer. Überwältigend gut war das Essen. Wir hatten einen bunten Mix aus der umfangreichen Karte und alle Gerichte kamen schnell und gleichzeitig an wobei am Ende alle Teller leergeputzt waren. Für lokale Spezialitäten also ein echter Geheimtipp! Wir kommen gerne wieder…"
