"my waiter gave me the confidence to try several new dishes. so I tried to feed the vegetable pakora. I decided to try the mushroom bhoona and ordered my favorite saag when the escape. I love my saag level. I was in restaurants that insist that my saag contains at least one of the usual ingredients: paneer, aloo and sometimes chana, which I then painfully get out of my saag. one of my raw food cookers, originally from india, had a bio restaurant. she told me why they committed me to trembling my saag. if that happens, I'll go up and never leave the restaurant back. but in this restaurant my waiter had no problem to submit my request at the place. the vegetable pakora first arrived. I really liked it. but there were the tamarind sauce and green chili chutney that the pakora really made excellent. when my man came to a call to eat his pakora, it was cold (he hates cold food.) but my man liked this cold pakora so much, he always tried to ask me about it while he breeds them at once down he usually eats it and asks for a question. After the pakora was completed, however, he immediately announced to order the pakora again at our next visit. the mushroom bhoona and the saag came together. both my man and I were very impressed by these exotic aromes. when the rice arrived that was taken up with the bhoona, we had most bhoona and saag eaten. my man is a rice fan, so he can just sit and eat rice himself if necessary. I usually do not eat white basmati rice. wild rice, brown or black rice. but when they brought out these basmati, I had to try. it had interesting spots of seasoning in it. after a bite I sat and ate the half of the plate with the rest of my saag. I mentioned my waiter how much I liked the basmati. he explained all the preparations that go into making this special dish. it was quite impressive and he seemed very pleased to hear that I liked it so much. I hope he shared my compliment with the kitchen. I liked the way our waiter observed our food needs again and again when he came past our table. I noticed he didn't want to interrupt our dinner. but I knew if I looked at him, he would have come directly to our table if we needed something. that is the sign of a sophisticated waiter for me. a trait that I rarely see more in restaurant waitstaff. at the end of our meal our waiter offered us a free sample of the gulab jamun desserts. After he described this, I know I didn't order it alone. but we still tried. my man just yelled at me when I tasted this overly sweet dessert. he had observed my expression when I tasted him and offered me the other half of his rehearsal. it didn't come surprised when I told him that the next time we came, I'd order the gulab jamun dessert. I asked him how he knew I liked it. apparently it was the ankle in my eyes when I took my first bite that there was gone. so, now it is obvious that we already planned our return to this restaurant on our next trip to fresno. not only eating is very nice, but our waiter has made me feel that I will not forget. so it's easy to forgive the little girl that went into mine when I first sat and my man was outside on a call. they rode on an unusually large cracker that was in her hand and from a strange background she jumped in and sat on the stand for several minutes. it seemed completely unlikely for the difference between a customer and an extended family. it was so strange, it was almost cute. but that immediately tells me that this flawless crew is family owned. but what is really etched in my mind, in the last moments of this culinary experience, was the hectic attempt of the owner. our waiter was not far behind the owner who ran into our car with my mobile phone charger base. it had fallen out of my handbag in our stand. I am so grateful to this gracious owner and my waiter that he gave it back to me before we get away. I would never have been able to complete my work projects, emails and text messages without my cell charger base. the demanding waiter skills of our waiter, combined with my saag accommodation and the desperate attempt by the owner to return my cell charger base, shows me that it is not by chance that this restaurant serves such fine quality meals. this is the first time that my man and I plan our next visit in a restaurant on the APPETIZER course! So, for a high quality north indian restaurant with excellent eating and excellent service, I recommend you to make their first stop in tandoori night!"

"Ordered the Rogan Gosht (lamb curry , Tikki Chaat and Garlic Naan for takeout. The flavor of everything in terms of spices and herbs was good, but it was all WAY too overly salty/heavy!!! (minus the naan . And as a person with a pretty heavy palate that hates bland food, I mean it when I say too salty! ESPECIALLY the lamb curry... When I opened the lid, it smelled absolutely amazing, yet when I tasted it, my face almost instinctively scrunched up because of just how salty it was. Naan is inherently pretty bland, and it's not an exaggeration when I say that a single small dip in the curry was enough to flavor an entire half of the piece of naan. I usually love to smother my naan in curry but that was definitely not possible with this one. It was just salty, salty, salty, to the point that I couldn't really even taste the spices in the curry. The Tikki Chaat was good in flavor but was also way too heavy; the potatoes tasted amazing but they were still on the salty side, and definitely had enough flavor on their own already. Then with the chickpea curry and tamarind chutney on top, it was just too much. One bite was fine, but then after a few more I couldn't continue because of the noticeable saltiness of the potatoes along with the also salty chickpeas on top. The sourness of the tamarind just seemed to enhance the saltiness. The portion of the Rogan Gosht was extremely disappointing. For $16.99, I received the smallest portion of curry I have ever received at that price. It came in a very small cup, and there was literally only about 6-7 bite-sized pieces of lamb. I've attached a picture comparing the size of the cup to my hand and a cellphone. I mean, seriously... for nearly 20 bucks I received a cup of curry the size of my hand and a few bites, AND it didn't even come with rice nor naan like most Indian restaurants. I had to buy the naan separately, which was another $3.49 for a single piece. The Tikki Chaat was a much larger portion than the curry, and was $5.99 (albeit it's just potatoes and chickpeas, but still... . Needless to say, a few bites of overly salty curry with one piece of naan was not exactly filling nor enjoyable. And with only the few bites of Tikki Chaat that I could stomach, I was left feeling still pretty hungry and had to fill myself up with some beverages. It seems to me like the chef did not taste-test their own cooking and just haphazardly seasoned the food because it almost felt like I was eating pure salt. Hopefully, it was just the specific chef who cooked my meal, since other reviews are very positive. I mean, at least they knew how to use spices and herbs.... but they should really taste their own food before serving it."
