"The food, the meats and salsas are excellent. I like this spot over the Anaheim location, which is quite busy.My only complaint about my experience here was that they didn’t have the small salsa containers for people to use to put their salsa in. I asked one worker and she said it’s only for to go orders. A few minutes later another worker helped me and gave me the containers I needed."

"Ate the mouthwatering Archie panini and the accompanying side salad. The Archie showed me how to correctly blend gouda cheese, artichoke hearts and honey. Hung on the wall is some unassuming art. As I was noting the picture of a happy goat, the owner mentioned that embedded in each piece is a scanable code that takes your phone to a farm. I also noted a well stocked refrigerated case of unique cheeses. I will return to sample more menu items and I may try some of their jalapeño brie."

"I recently visited Izakaya Takasei and had a mixed experience.My boyfriend and I ordered the takoyaki, chicken cutlet and egg rice bowl, several yakitori, takowasabi (raw octopus with wasabi), and the Kobe beef roll. While the takoyaki and yakitori were delicious, the chicken cutlet and egg rice bowl was really bland. The Kobe beef roll was a bit odd with the combination of garlic butter and tataki sauce. Unfortunately, there were also a few items on the menu that were no longer available, which was a bit disappointing. It would be good for the restaurant to update their menu to avoid any confusion or disappointments.While the food at Izakaya Takasei comes out quickly, this can also be a double-edged sword. During my visit, my boyfriend and I received several dishes at once, which meant that a lot of our food was sitting out and getting cold while we were eating the others. It would be great if the kitchen could pace the dishes better to ensure that everything is served at the optimal temperature.The service was a bit lackluster as well. The only time we were able to ask for condiments, utensils, and more water was when the employees brought our food out. No one checked on us throughout our meal, and it would have been nice to have a more attentive staff.On the plus side, the restaurant has nice Japanese decor and is quite spacious. However, there was no background music, which made the ambiance a bit dull.Overall, while there were some drawbacks, Izakaya Takasei may be worth checking out if you're in the area and in the mood for some Japanese cuisine. Just be sure to join the wait-list on Yelp beforehand and check in with the host when you arrive."

"Loved this place since I was a little girl getting a big hug from Charlie every time my parents stopped in to grab us a pizza. Thirty some odd years later and now I take my daughter there for great pizza (sadly, Charlie has been gone for years and management has changed, but the food hasn 't). I still enjoy many great pizzas with my parents too. They have a consistent crust that isn 't too thick or thin and never dirty on the bottom. The pizzas have that picture perfect stretchy cheese. I admit that their toppings aren 't my go-to favorite, but you can 't win them all. I don 't want to run out of room or lose your attention, so let me wrap this up. I would be remiss if I didn 't mention their cheesesteaks which are one of my all-time favorites in the Valley. Lastly, their appetizers, overall, are pretty average for a pizza place, but I do love their pierogis. If they aren 't church pierogis, then I don 't know my pierogi. I recommend stopping by for a slice and a pierogi sometime. You won 't be disappointed. (Quick note: the seating here is not fat or chronic pain friendly. Oof. Parking: Not a ton of spot, but the restaurant is mostly pick-up. There is not the need for a lot of parking spots. It is less than a minute walk from any spot to Chaalies. "We found cakes and desserts from Patty through our restaurant The Orange Hill. We couldn't have been happier with our cake. All our guests loved it. The cake was not too sweet, but only sweet enough, cake was moist and just delicious. Our cake was delivered to the venue in time. I would definitely recommend Patty's cake. They are professional, their cakes taste amazing. I promise you won't be disappointed. Plan a tasting and see yourself, they have a ton of variety cakes and fillings to choose from."

"It's not a lot you can do here but the HTC Valve VR headsets are fun to play with a small group of people been here a couple time already. It's definitely a place to for people that wants to try VR for the first time or don't have a VR system to try out and their pricing is decent as well."

GREECE (via Eat the World Los Angeles) While all of the foods here looked delicious in pictures, it came as a bit of a surprise that everything in person was so delicious, not one mediocre dish amongst the entire meal. "Very busy place; we have in about 5pm on Sat weekend night. We have the last available table. to-go/online order stops. The business seems pretty good. its a great place for trying to get pasta dishes from different regions. cutting the hand noodle is one of the best I had in a long time. very chewy as I said. The service is attentive. a star taken away; his personal taste. the dishes are good; but it could be better in texture or taste. Overall, I recommend who wants to try pasta from Asia-style; You will not be disappointed if you are new to this type of kitchen."

"Food mediocre- nothing to praise about nothing to complain about. Honestly it was whatever. I like the ambience. Service was horrible. I have received better service at Danny's.When we arrived at the restaurant, the host look at us or greet us. After waiting for a bit,I had to say Hi first. Hmmmmm....Ok...We were party of 4. 3 people had finished the meal but my niece wasn't even half done and the server brought out dessert to show us. We said we would pass and he dropped the bill on the table. Uh.... ok.....Couple minutes pass and while my niece was STILL eating busser asked if we wanted a to-go box. What????We were not even there for an hour. There was open tables. I don't know why the restaurant was in such a rush to get rid of us. We weren't looking gross, we didn't smell, we are paying customers. This tops my worst restaurant experience list."

"My partner took me here for our anniversary we ordered the Classic Chateaubriand for Two, they did not ask how we wanted our file not to mignon cooked (I like blue/ras, she likes good) as unfortunately it was not as done as we would have liked. The garlic potatoes were good and so the vegetables, although I had preferred the onions to be grilled longer, were quite raw at the first layer. waiting for food and drinks was quite long likely because it was very busy. I would suggest a reservation that we didn't know it was an option before. Our meals came with a truffle glass and a white chain of taste both were subtle. We ordered cocktails as well as mocktails a few different versions of the cuff and the river of dreams, the drinks were definitely the star of the show here they were absolutely delicious and were presented beautifully. I really loved the lighting for ambience, the brick walls and older music was a nice touch. I would usually return for drinks. Service here was really good, the staff was knowledgeable and encouraged us to ask questions that we needed about our foods and drinks, even help us decide on some drinks. Michael was our waiter, but we also had someone who split up as a server, and someone else who looked at us while passing."

"I live near the area and I always went through this restaurant. Curiosity won the best of me and I'm glad my sisters and I ate in this place. For a Sunday they took us right away, there were many tables. My sisters and I were here mainly because of the shrimps. We went to other places where they sold shrimps, but this place was different. I love the fact that they gave us gloves. Some places have won? We ordered the lung trap? And? We also ordered Cajun noodles, white rice and Cajun frits. This place was delicious and when you were? Please give them an attempt if you? re a fan of sea food."

"I found this place because I really believed a Poke bowl and it was the next one I was. This place packed my bowl with so much food. I got the little bowl and it was enough to fill me and I could even share some with my sister. The seafood was fresh and they had several ways to decide. Also the service was quite fast and the guy who made my bowl was very nice and patient with me. I definitely go back to this place and recommend it to my friends and family."

"I go with my friends who like to eat healthier, but are not vegetarian or vegan. I can get an salate that's pretty good. there are no vegan dessert options, and I need to ask a lot about what has happened. there are tons of vegetarian options, but not many things for vegans. the menu is a romantic and really sweet to go through. they can customize a lot of dinge to make it vegan, but I in the rule with the thai peanut salad, that is a huge portion. eating is also not my favorites, but it is a sweet little restaurant in a house, so the atmosphere is fun and my friends really enjoy it. it is a good place to take non-veg friends as there are options for them both, but if they are vegan, they need to look for a bit of menu."

"I booked on open table but the greeter told me to wait in line with everyone else. The line wasn’t moving so I eventually went to the host stand and they sat us. We waited an hour for our food and our appetizer never came. The people next to us ordered before we did and still hadn’t been served all of their food when we left. I felt bad for them. The managers were not walking around to check in people. And the wait staff wasn’t forthcoming either updated about peoples food. Seems like maybe there was an issue with the computers but nothing was said to the patrons. A big well known chain like this should have their act together especially on a Saturday night. Pretty disappointed experience. Luckily the food was pretty good."
