"The Y Club is a great combination bar and restaurant in the middle of Garrison and literally in the middle of the street. The building is shaped about triangle to fit into a place where the surrounding streets branch around the club in a Y and probably create the name. Lunchtime the food in the Lakeside half of the house with a very large dining room on the other side sees open evenings. We ate our lunch overlooking almost all the glass wall with a beautiful view of Mille Lacs Lake Menu offers are as you would expect: burgers, sandwiches including a Walleye offer, steaks and some pasta. Among the appetizers, Asparagus Fries was a broken and fried stalk that I wish I had tried, but I'm a week 4 of a much needed diet, something had to wait for the next time... We ended the sampling of Pork Tenderloin Sand, which served a simple but beautifully served crispy roasted pork fillet with onions, salad and red onions w/mayo served on a kind of bread that should be ciabatta, but lacked the tooth and texture I'm used for it (always still very good but! . I decided to divide the chips for a cup of her Lobsterque finally under I think the chips were thrown away (they came with the wrap we had too, but the bisque was top notch! Thick, creamy and tasteful. For me it tasted as if it was based on a beef broth that gave it extra deep rich taste. Lobster bits were fine shreds, but what do you want for $4.50 (it was actually just a $2 charge since I was the chips and well worth every penny. The other side of the table nodded on the chicken salad pack and loved it. The filling was creamy, not dry at all, and amped with zing from dried cranberries and crispy pecans. The only hint was that the cheese inside seemed to be added out of place and unnecessary, easy to leave. In total a wonderful lunch with a beautiful view and a fast, friendly service. I would highly recommend stopping by; I know next time I'm going through to taste these asparagus hairs..."
