"I liked the exterior and the inside bar is a decent size wrap, it was not enough at the time that I was there to get an idea of the vibe, but the first impression is small town corner bar. The first item from the menu I tried was the loaded pommes. Good frits, but presentation left much to wish, only a mess with a few lardons of bacon that are disguised by caramelized onions. My wife had the wings and it was nice to have a choice between baked and naked, the hot sauce is more like black pepper than chili pepper, a reference point not a criticism. If you are a fan of roast pig, this is a must try. Long hots, horses and some of the au jus redeemed my first experience at LOCAL."
