"Love this BBQ treasure! Having been let down on so many KC BBQ Restaurants, this place will definitely get you hooked! The ham and brisket are addictive…the brisket is so lean and taste amazing, I was totally surprised by their delicious meatloaf sandwich. Delicious flavor and texture, then grilled on the smoker… SO good. They have delicious desserts, love the pineapple upside down cake, and brownies.Don’t forget to order some meat by the pound to take home later… can’t wait to try the ribs on our next visit! Worth the drive, and enjoy the scenery on the way there!"

"Came in for a to-go order... not our usual stop but thought it looked similar to our usual Mexican restaurant. Nope. Smallest. Portions. Ever. We could even see the bottom of the aluminum pans because the portions were sparse. I couldn't order the Tuesday margarita special to go. They won't sell you a small one, only a large one. The guy with earbuds in working the register took the 5 dollar tip I left but I immediately had remorse leaving a tip because he didn't do anything except ring me up. And then later tell me I couldn't have a small margate to go, only the big ones. The food DID taste really good... just ridiculously small portions. Probably won't go back when I know there's blue Springs or even oak Grove to go to"

"I usually love these McDonald's. The staff is so super nice and they are still, but they have started with a robot to take your order. It is very frustrating if it makes your order wrong! I understand that increasing the hourly wage is the cause of the need to replace people, but I can tell you there is no replacement costing service with a robot. It makes me sad that this is the solution."

"I've been to captain for a few times and it's always been decent. last night was terrible. my wife ordered a lemon drop martini, which is 90% alcohol, could not cost a bit of alcohol. I ordered her rum punch, the same, no alcohol. I (fitted) ordered a crown apple and sprite double big think it would be good. No! hardly alcohol too. Not sure whether the barkeeper was new or what bad experience with the bar. the food was reordered, it was better in earlier times. the burned end sammie were either fat and dry. the wrap of the woman was ok. sons wings were good. in a positive note the waitress we had was friendly and attentive."

"We went to El Maguey's on Sunday and ordered some food to go. I have Spina Bifida so I assumed if we stayed there long that my back would start hurting pretty bad like it does when I sit in the car or pretty much anywhere else I sit in an upright position. Amazingly the booth we were in was very comfortable and I sat the whole 20+ minutes in the booth making our order and waiting for our food. Sitting there that long did not hurt me.
