"a large small coast to the coast of Italian chain, here at this Grand-Aforesaid tho they like to sit all in the same 3 tables, when the entire restaurant is empty and pack in people over each other, instead of space and afforidng a comfortable eating and talk. they sat us next to a couple and the back of the restaurant where there was no reason to put people on each other, but they chose that even when I told the hostess that there is no reason that we all need to be so cramped to pack people in the same room when the whole restaurant was empty. we sat next to a couple that went shortly after and then the staff on place 2 more tables right around us in the same way as we visited our hostes from the city dwellers, we had a lot to discuss and went on, and the next 2 couples sat quietly and heard our defiant. Restaurants are meant to offer a meeting point. mgmt should not be so weak to miss this point and recognize it."

"I'm not sure they do catering regularly, so I hope I don't disappoint too many people when I say how incredible it was for them to cater our wedding. We got married at the 1908 house in Hatton, and there aren't a ton of options nearby. We wanted farm-to-table and locally sourced ingredients, and that's just what we got with Ely's Ivy. Scott was AMAZING to work with and made our dream of having delicious food come true. All of our guests said it was the best walleye they'd ever had. Everything was fresh, and all of our guests were full! My only regret was not saving myself a plate for later when the nerves/excitement wore off and I could actually enjoy my food. Thank you again, Ely's Ivy!"

"The pizza is always great! The are more expensive, but if you want a top notch pizza it’s worth it. The mushroom buttons are very good as well. The thin crust pizza has great flavor! Additionally, they are fast! If you go pick up your pizza its ready quickly even on busy days. From here to Fargo when you ask people who has good pizza this is one of the top."

"eating and service was amazing! I ate so much! the place is clean and our waitress was friendly and accommodating. we go every time in a place in this restaurant, probably more when we lived closer. the sushi reels and bubbled are our favorites. the atmosphere is amazing and my children love to see the waterfalls and bambus and Japanese inspired decor. I love that I don't have to hush my children all the time in the restaurant because there is so much between hibachi grill and the birthday song. I would recommend friends and family to go here for a nice evening trip in sakura in grand forks."

"Staff aren’t unfriendly per say but they definitely put their heads down and work hard, great people, just think they could be a tad bit more vocal, drinks are solid, in my experiences I love every drink they make, the food is phenomenal, only thing I didn’t like was their Philly, just seemed a little underwhelming, not enough steak, not enough peppers, sauce and cheese, great flavor though! The Fries and gravy are amazing, best bar food in town easily."

"I will probably never go back to this restaurant. The service was terrible and the food just average. It took almost an hour for the 7 of us to get our meals. No one ordered anything that required a great deal of prep. Got the app with the the first three meals. Asked for ketchup. Had to ask again when the rest of the meals came about 15 minutes later. Kiddos like ketchup with fries. Get rid of the pea salad-doesn 't match the description. 2 of us ordered it-didn 't eat it. This basically bar food ."

"great food. the best restaurant in grand forks. large portioning and largest sushi rolls in the city. there is a waitress especially that is absolutely fantastic. my man and I go on Thursday so she works! pretty, poised and very attentive. we had a good laugh and saw them sit down and then jump up every minute to get our food! the female owner serves most other days and is at the end, but very moderate and neurotic. the Thursday waitress balances her well and my family feels very well and shing ya. the other waiter I met is also friendly and great! amazing place and expensive but definitiw the buck for her buck for the happy and tasty experience. the best in grand forks!"

"Fast forward a couple of weeks, and I received an email offering triple points for trying out their new "3 from the Sea" menu. This menu includes a soup or salad, a single-sized appetizer, and one selection from a choice of seven entrees. We went for it last night, and it was fantastic! Once again, our server was excellent, and the food was served promptly and was very tasty. My wife and I both ordered the shrimp linguine, which was loaded with shrimp—so much that I was pleasantly surprised! It was a generous portion. The next day, we both had leftovers for lunch, along with a few extra cookies, all for just $40, including drinks! I redeemed my reward points for a dessert that we enjoyed at home, and thanks to the tripled points promotion, I’ve gathered enough for another free dessert on our next visit. This is an amazing value! In short, we love our local Red Lobster. If you aren’t already using the rewards app, download it today! It’s a rewards program that truly pays off."

"Seems to be hit or miss. When it's good (which is most of the time) it's really good. When it's not... well... it's not. My daughter loves the arcade and the food. Speaking of food, it varies quite a bit, though you can usually find something you like. Lately, I'm sure due to staffing and no fault of those there, it has been kind of off. But... will we be back? Yes, of course we will. We've really only had one or two bad experiences. We don't go on kids night, and on occasion they have groups working for fundraising which we had a bad experience with one time where we could hardly converse with each other without being interrupted every few seconds by a young child asking if they could take our plates (often while we were obviously still eating from them). This is at no fault of the restaurant, but the chaperones of the group could have possibly set some better rules."

"Was seated quickly, table was super sticky. The drink I order lacked flavor. Staff was friendly. The food was mediocre, not bad but nothing to rave about. It was served within a good time frame, but the waitress took an unreasonable amount of time to bring the check. It hadn't really gotten any busier during my visit, and it wasn't crazy busy to start so that wasn't the reason for the lack of service. It took probably 30-40 minute after finishing our food to recieve the check."

"Greeted on arrival with a quick run through of drink specials. I opted for smoke on the water- a tasty mezcal drink, not too sweet. Service was friendly. Would I call it authentic Mexican cuisine? Let's just say, not from any of the many regions of Mexico I've been to, but I thoroughly enjoyed their take on it. I got a doubled corn shell, instead of flour, (your choice of corn or flour). The pork belly taco was quite tasty, as was the fish taco. The house made black beans are flavorful and filling. I enjoy the a-la-carte aspect, as I prefer small portions. Chips and queso appetizer was a good starter. Dessert was a temptation we thwarted this time out. Let me tell ya tho, it said churro/ice cream... soooo... soon, soon. Eats were reasonably priced satisfying."

"The food is excellent; reminds me of childhood family vacations and road trips, stopping at cafes along the way. Eggs were cooked perfectly over medium at my request, pancakes were fluffy, hash browns extra crispy as requested, and the chicken fried steak was BOMB. There were three options of hot sauce, homemade by Darcy, and I tried the cayenne. Delicious. It's a small, quaint cafe so get there between 7:00AM (opening) and 8:30-ishAM if you want to get seated but otherwise it's worth the wait. It says online that their busiest time is around 9AM. Accurate. We noticed it started filling up around 8:30AM but it was also Saturday. Even if there isn't a table or seat at the counter available they'll put you on a wait list and text/call when something opens up. They also request courtesy from customers not to loiter after finishing their meal. Please tip generously, folks. The food industry has taken a hit during the pandemic and servers don't get paid enough as it is. The prices are reasonable so give little extra to the nice humans who cook serve your meal. We will be back."

"Laid back quieter atmosphere perfect for Breakfast in my opinion. They just released a few new items so we had to try one of them. We went with the Philly Rolls with Queso it was probably one of the best philly based items in Grand Forks I've had! Never had bad meal here, I usually go for the Northside Skillet or the Garbage Omelete with a side of Hollindaise but if they don't have Hollindaise that day I go for the Stuffed Country Skillet."

"We walked in and the host was super friendly and nice! She saw I was carrying my baby and offered a high chair right away. Our waitress was wonderful! She was extremely friendly and helpful! She came back several times to make sure we were okay too. The burger fries were crazy good! Unfortunately, the caramel apple pie wasn't the greatest though.. Next time I'll just get the regular apple. Great experience and great food!"

"Ordered quite a bit of food during the dinner rush (7 cars in front of me). The line took quite a bit of time to move but then I was told there was only 2 total workers at 6pm! Corporate should probably do something about the blatant lack of workers at such a busy time. All the food was very good nonetheless. Ordered a turkey ranch wrap and got the sandwich version instead, but it was still very good! No harm, no foul. Impressive work by the obviously stressed out workers! Roast beef was also delicious as always."
