"So so saaaad....one of my favorites to frequent. Given the prices of gas, time it takes to get there 25 min>, the cost of a 16oz juice 5.99, I got the most ickies juice ever. I had just visited the day prior to get a delicious bowl. Which I didn't review. BuT this...guys..I was SO SO sad..is it the afternoon evening staff? This was bitter and I've never had the actual vegetables in my mouth. Just disappointed."

"100% extraordinary sushi and 100% cordial/helpful service. I’m here for work and I’m from NC and was skeptical about getting sushi in the middle of America. After being seated most of my skepticism was deceased due to super duper friendly service. Then I ate my first piece of sushi and immediately felt all of the absolute wonderful emotions that we get while savoring a beautiful/fresh/tender piece of fatty salmon. Anyone local or not looking for some sensational sushi and phenomenal service you’ve stumbled across the right place. In my somewhat diverse experience nationwide with sushi. It’s very VERY rare that you receive impeccable sushi AND service. Welp Ahi sushi does it all! And cannot wait to come back. : Thank you?"

"Holy smokes folks. Omaha... Omaha... SET! Hut, hut. Get to 801 if you 're in town. Kept it simple, 14 ounce New York (wet aged). Temperature was perfect medium rare plus. Seasoned perfectly. Light char. The surprise happiness arrived from a baked creamed spinach side. Wowzer. Ingredients: Grated Parmigiana cheese topper, finished under the broiler, soft and crispy amazingness. For the spinach goo, add flavors of Anissete Liqueur, Fennel Seed, definitely has fresh Garlic somewhere, a little salt and pepper. Diced Shallots. Then add the cream, which was reduced significantly (not a sloppy mess like most you 'll have). I 'm on the fence if this is the best creamed spinach I 've ever had. Pappas Bros. in Texas a close second or maybe first. Service was outstanding. Senor Rick was amazing at the bar. I had the don 't put baby in the corner bar seat and happy to have it. Run don 't walk to the 801 Omaha. Tell Rick Del Mar Dave from LA sent you. Sorry about the Mens Room pic but the bathrooms were spotless. Another old school move ice in the urinals."

"Wave Bistro food is wonderful. Order took awhile to arrive to table. But worth the wait. Environment is loud and hard to hear person across the booth from me. "Stopped here before a concert and one of the best decisions made! The lovely girlfriend and I got shrimp fried rice and amazing steamed dumplings, and each ordered a few orders of sushi. All of it had been out of this world and a good value for what you get. Will be back to try other dishes. The service had also been so friendly and attentive. If in the area, give it a try!!"

"This place has the BEST salads!! They are delicious, and they have so many options to customize your order. We also got some Niño Quesadillas for the kiddos, always a treat! The food is wonderful, but more importantly, the staff was friendly and attentive. They were so kind to our kiddos. We would definitely recommend this place for families. Especially if you love salads big enough to split!"

Cheaper than fast food and much better. In hurry, I order ahead and pick it up. They also serve biscuits and gravy and standard breakfast"

"We order takeout and pick it up. We always order two entrées and a large quart of hot and sour soup. The bill is always $32. This is the absolute best hot and sour soup in Omaha. My husband gets the shrimp fried rice and I get the vegetable lo mein. Before turning vegan I used to get beef lo mein. The lo mein here is incredible. They also have the a REALLY GOOD KUNG POW Chicken, I haven’t tried it with fried tofu yet, but that’s how I am ordering it next time. My son loves the peanut butter chicken here, but you have to Really love peanut butter If you order this. The only thing I’ve ever tried that Isn’t great Are The egg rolls, neither my husband nor I care for them."

"Amazing! Hubs took us here for our V-day date this year. They did not disappoint. Let's go... Service: from the hostesses to our waitress, they were all amazing. Smiles. Kindness. Excellent suggestions. She didn't check on us too much. She read the table and did an excellent job. Food: we had the screaming crackers for a share plate. It was a tasty plate of complimentary tastes and textures. Hubs ordered a steak. It was tender, delicious, and cooked to perfection. The green beans were fresh, as were the potatoes. He had no complaints. I ordered the halibut. So good. The capers. The potatoes. The asparagus. Holy moly. I didn't want to stop eating it. So wonderful. It was all Divine. Dessert: dang... I want to go back for more. We got the raspberry cheesecake. Perfection. The cheesecake was made fresh in shop that morning. It was light, tasty perfection. The crust complimented it all so well. Bonus info: my water glass was never empty. I am a heavy water drinker and I was never left without that ice cold liquid. This is important!"

"Liked it so much we came twice in our less than a week in Omaha. Appreciate the counter ordering and relatively fast turnaround. Thought the breakfast burrito was probably the best I’ve ever had. Chicken fried steak was excellent. Sausage was yummy. Fresh squeezed orange juice was such a treat. Thought the biscuits and gravy could have had more sausage in the gravy, but the biscuit was very good. Lavender lattes were wonderful and the crispy potatoes had a great cook. Pancakes were yummy. Would come again."

"My wife and I used to come here frequently for special occasions prior to our kids being born. It’s been at least 8 years since we have been here, but we decided to make it our choice this year for our anniversary. I’m so happy to say it has not lost its step at all. Service and atmosphere are spectacular. The duck breast is always a great option. The wine, other drink choices, small plates, and deserts are all wonderful. Ended the evening with a glass of vallein tercinier pineau des charentes blanc. Superb. Well done again."

"Went to this location with my kids hoping to eat some good food and relax after a long day . I sent these mozzarella sticks back because they were filled with what appeared to be dried cheese on the inside with a little bit of good mozzarella cheese . They were also hard as a rock . I pretty much had to bust it over the damn table to break it apart. After asking for the mozz sticks to be remade, there were two men (I’m assuming cooks) that appeared to be cracking jokes staring at me … I let that slide. A gentleman came out with “fresh” mozz sticks. And they were the exact same . I went to speak to a manager- I didn’t get her name because she was instantly defensive and argumentative. As I’m talking to her , multiple employees crowd around and begin arguing with me . She very rudely explained that the extremely tough string on the inside wasn’t cheese but it was the “egg roll” . I’ve never heard of this nor does the menu mention this . It claims to be hand breaded mozz sticks . I could have overlooked the fact that their method for making these is just nasty, but the unprofessional behavior of your employees is not a vibe . I have many memories of going to this location , but it is not the same . I will not be returning"

"I met three friends at the Olive Garden on Dodge for lunch on a Sunday. We ordered the Soup Salad, the Ravioli Appetizer, the Lasagna entree the Create Your Own Pasta, Spaghetti Meatball. The Lasagna looked good and the friend who ordered it had no complaints. The Soup Salad was as we expected. The Ravioli Appetizer was as expected as well. However, the Spaghetti was watery and tasteless. We asked for half Marinara and half any cheese sauce (which was the Alfredo) and just one meatball. They up charged $2.29 for the half with Alfredo and one small Meatball was $1.79. That brought a small dish of watery Spaghetti to $17.57. Yikes! You could argue that a bread stick and Salad was included in that price but the Salad didn't look appetizing at all. The Ice Tea was a whopping $3.49. The bill for everything came to $76.57 and don't get me started on the at your table payment station which is noticably skewed towards a 20% tip. The service was passable, the server was perfunctory not pleasant and got a standard 15% tip added to the bill. Bringing the grand total to $87.65 for a modest, nothing to write home about lunch for four people. I was not wowed by anything that was served and very underwhelmed by something as simple as Spaghetti. I'm very likely not a returning customer as it is not a good value for the price and I would not recommend."

"My experience had been above and beyond today. I was greeted with open friendliness and was seated immediately with little to wait. I got to sit up at the bar and watch the scenery of all the staff. I was greeted with fun hats happy sweaters. After sitting a dangerous foe(my hunger) had been bested by a great knight(their pancakes of the month love cranberry orange<33) I had ordered a cookie butter chai as my drink and without asking I even got extra cookie butter like they could read my mind and knew I loved the stuff. I got about 14 inches of whipped cream and it reminded me of the leaning tower of pizzazz. And upon my request I got the green and silver sprinkles that usually come with the grinchy matcha. Throughout the meal I had a personal emotional support server to eat my cranberries for me. And my amazing server Chloe brought out my room before I even ordered like she could read minds. Mary grace helped. Overall the service was absolutes fantastic. I will definitely be coming back to the ye ole’ establishment in hopes of more glorious quests and accomplishments. Our journeyed have been fun but it’s time for me to depart this party and go on my own…. Goodbye le peep I shall see you again."

"I’ve been to the Drover several times and have had great experiences. This last time I went there I ordered a whiskey ribeye. Well when my steak came out it was a New York strip the waiter instead of correcting it and admitting a mistake was made. He sat there and tried to say that it was a leaner cut ribeye. First I have never seen a lean cut ribeye unless you intentionally trimmed all the fat. But anyone going to steakhouse and is ordering a ribeye obviously wants the steak with the most marbling any fat. He said he would see if there were different cuts that were more fatty. Just a ridiculous response I have never gone to reputable steak house and said I need a more fatty ribeye. JP really ruined the Drover for me. I wish I took a picture of this “leaner cut ribeye”. To management, JP needs to either be fired or learn what customer service is. If he owned up to his mistake I wouldn’t be writing this review. The fact that he sat there and insulted my knowledge of steaks is laughable and pathetic."
