"We had an absolutely wonderful brunch at The Merchant's Wife during the stay on our boat in a local marina. Our party consisted of four adults and two young ladies (5 and 6 1/2). Not only were we warmly greeted at the door, the waiter was most attentive to all needs, and never in our way through the meal. Our food was perfectly prepared we had breakfast pizza (eggs, ham, Fontina, caramelized onions, and Hollandaise, , Farmers Market Breakfast Sandwich, (ham, eggs, crispy bacon, greens, and cheese, and for the young ladies, the fluffiest pancakes of all time! and a freshly cut fruit bowl. We felt that the price was excellent and the quality and quantity of our brunch was in no way! In a city with many restaurants this place is really a hidden gem It will be our way every time we are in Greenport! Great success in the future and thanks for opening a beautifully decorated, stylish, simple space to meet the needs of our three generations family!"
