"Who knows Timmel? At A... the world you could say. But far missed, is a pretty little resort with lake, well maintained houses and a small supermarket, not far from Aurich. In the middle of it is the hotel mentioned above. a large, visually very attractive house built from red stones. After lunch there was only one bungalow, we decided to eat well maintained here. We came to the right address. Pleasant rustic, a large guest room and many small niches. In such a place we could take place, it was already beautifully covered with colorful napkins, various glasses and cutlery. The menu offers regional and seasonal dishes, currently asparagus. Meat, fish and vegetarians. Prices between 10 and 20 euros. At first there was a greeting from the kitchen, a small piece of cold pork fillet, garnished with tomato puree and grated cheese. We ordered calf carving with pommes and salad, back steak with bacon beans, croquettes and salad. After a reasonable time the salad came first, consisting of leaf salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, paprika and radish. Only after that our food, very appetizing looking and beautifully garnished. It tasted like cooked with love, simply fine, freshly prepared. Two more liqueurs were served for the bill that I was allowed to drink, and somewhat fluctuating, but pleasantly saturated I left the restaurant. My husband was happy too. You can also stay overnight, of course, what I can't judge, but the location is very nice, and if the rooms look just like the place you can feel very comfortable."
