"I’m currently a resident artist at Sculpture Trails so I wanted to check out a nearby town and find the best vegan eats! As someone who owned a vegan restaurant, I’m always on the hunt for a place that will knock my socks off. This place is pretty good. I got the vegan scramble and added a side of potatoes to mix in. I also added the vegan sausage. It’s pretty good! I will likely return when I’m back next year. The cashier was kind and this place is so cute. My food came out pretty quickly and it tastes fresh. Definitely an ideal spot to come enjoy a meal, a pastry, and do some work or fun reading."

"Had a family breakfast in this small town restaurant. Establishment was extremely busy. Breakfast was good, service delightful! We throughly enjoy out of the way, non tourist restaurants. This one did not disappoint. Coffee was tasty and plentiful, cinnamon roll a bonus!"

"We showed up at 4pm…excited about the 4-6pm happy hour that’s advertised on the menu. Went to the bar area like the menu says, sit down asked the bartender about the happy hour, he says “they don’t have one”. We were confused and pointed out the advertisement on the menu, he said oh, well it’s a dollar off a regular frozen margarita. So don’t come here if you think they’re going to have a decent HH. We decided to go sit at a table to be more comfortable since there really isn’t a HH. We ordered drinks, my first one was a Spicy cucumber marg, it was pretty good. We ordered small order of torpedos, flauta plate, small guacamole, 2 frozen strawberry margs and a papa drink, total was 97…that became expensive HH our waitress was nice, very accommodating…to me the drinks aren’t special enough to warrant 15 a piece. I’ve had craft cocktails that definitely better than this and worth . Food wasn’t anything special either."

"The barbecue place is a must-visit. The food was delicious and the service was fast and efficient. The prices were incredibly reasonable for what you get. "Excellent service, we were checked up on multiple times, but not in an annoying kind of way. The food came out in a timely manner and was hot delicious. The wonton soup was very flavorful. The prices were reasonable and they even boxed up the food for us at the end. Great experience. Also super gluten friendly and thoughtful to my husband’s sensitivity."

"So this used to be our favorite go to restaurant, until we moved from the area. Tonight was our first time back in a few years. Loved the new look. Our service was as good as i remembered. Unfortunately not one of our four top was thrilled about the food. The three of us who had fajitas, all agreed that the overwhelming amount of Cilantro and the addition of tomatoes gave everything a more Italian flavor. Birria tacos also had so much Cilantro that the person eating them said it was all she could taste and only ate 2 of the 4. The margaritas were still the best. I never in my life thought i could possibly write a unpositive review for Tellos. It is very said because i will probably not be able to convince my fellow foodies to try it again, especially after i talked the place up for the hour drive there. What is with putting Tomatoes in a Fajita? That was a first for me. The food was plentiful, but so was the cost, it was the deliciousness that was lacking."

I asked for 2 slices, and I really only needed 1. Eggs were cooked the way I wanted, and sausage was good, and the hashbrowns were good. No resolve just a frazzled waiter stating that if we would have ordered the bottle at the Bar and brought it back to the table we would have honored the offer??? What does that mean. Poor attitude no offer to resolve. Advise to owner Don't do a bait and switch please. If you do many people will not return, you will lose business. Very Sad to be embarrassed in front of my guests."

"They had run out of ribs and my fried shrimp and cauliflower were way over cooked. The coleslaw was more dressing than cabbage. It has been a year since we were there last, and now I remember why. The other members in our group said the steaks were only so so. The salad is a joke open a bag of lettuce and put it out. Of you ask for ranch instead of the red sauce they give you for your appetizers, it is an additional charge which is about the cost of half a bottle of ranch in the stores. Very disappointing."

"Decent BBQ. Got the platter, pulled pork brisket, with baked beans mashed potatoes with hot BBQ sauce. The meats were pretty good, as were the potatoes. I didn't care for the baked beans. The BBQ sauce itself ok, but I'd try a different one next time. Review 2: Had a chance to try more from Blue Ribbon as part of a catered event. The North Carolina Pulled Pork was good. I really enjoyed the Sweet Sticky Ribs and mashed potatoes. The Texas Sliced Beef Brisket was just ok a bit on the dry side, but good with the sauce."
