"We decided to go out to eat on a Monday and there were not very many options open in Guthrie so we started off at stables Café and they directed us to the taproom. I was perfectly fine with eating here because I've eaten here in the past and it was really good. In my new diet world, things are different. We were seated right away and it was so cold inside that we asked to sit outside. We got a nice table outside and we got our drinks right away from a very friendly waitress. We placed our order and we waited. And waited. And waited. I ordered a salad and my boyfriend ordered a burger and it took a good thirty minutes or more to get our food. I was conflicted between the chili, tacos and a salad but I thought I needed some more greens yesterday so I picked the salad. It was supposed to be a honey chicken salad with maple bacon on a bed of greens. Upon delivery and you can see in the picture, the only nutritious greens on the salad or a few leaves of spinach hiding the iceberg LOL. The chicken and pecans and bacon or drenched in this honey mixture, which was super sweet. Not normally, I am not one to complain about anything being sweet so if I'm complaining about it being too sweet... like it took away any flavor of anything else. I couldn't taste the bacon or the pecans and they were so much of the mixture that the iceberg was soggy. My bf's burger looked good and he ate all his French fries so I'm guessing stick with bar food here."
