"One of the best hidden gems in the New Orleans area!!! We, my employees and I, absolutely LOVE Perrins. You have a very nice menu with a variety of choices, along with several daily lunch special offers. Whether you are in the mood for seafood, salad, sandwiches or just good home kitchen, they will satisfy you!!! We usually go two to three times a week and are never disappointed. You have the best Paneed Pork Chops on the South Shore of Lake Pontchartrain. They offer them on a Poboy, and their daily lunch specialties, every day, and on Monday, with their red beans and rice, which is also amazing. The original Chill Down Salad that includes shrimp salad, shrimp cocktail, potato salad and shrimp Remoulade is so good and their Remoulade sauce is the best around. The kick-start burger, let me just say, oh my goodness, it should be in a class all its own. A fresh ground beef patty, with a fresh sausage patty, pepper jack cheese fully dressed on a large roasted bun together with frits.....psssh.....It's huge....It's OH MY GOSH....chin drippin....roll your sleeves so you don't wipe your mouth on them well, make the hamburgers and sausages absolutely! The employees are always very nice and accommodating and the owners, Matt Stacey are so great people. If you are not in this immediate area, it is worth your trip.
