"Bossa Nova charges for everything. You can't even get a refill on soda or lemonade without a fee. There's even a $3 charge to split the check.While the menu is pretty expansive, it's filled with stipulations in fine print on the back.When we checked in, the young lady at the front told us we could wait in our car for a seat. She definitely wasn't friendly or welcoming.Our food was average. The Sunny side up egg in my bowl was hard and my steak was overcooked, even though I asked for medium rare. My daughter wanted to build her own pizza, but at $16 and $2.50 per ingredient, we talked her into the mushroom truffle pizza instead. The pizza was good. Again, it was just off-putting to be charged for everything.Bossa Nova, charge more if you must and make people feel welcomed. People don't want to feel nickeled and dimed when they sit down for a meal.Parking: Parking in the back is limited and very tight."

"This restaurant deserves at least higher than 4.3 stars!!! The chicken tikka masala was sooooooo delicious!!! I loved that the sauce was a nice thick texture. "Helped my daughter move into her new place in Hawthorne and needed something to eat for all of us. Sitting at Bagel Express and the place had just closed. Frank was out there asking what I needed. After telling him my story, he opened up and made 5 sandwiches for us. The sandwiches were great and I could not imagine going somewhere else to get a sandwich, bagel or coffee when I visit Hawthorne. I recommend Bagel Express and Deli Thank you."

"Urth Cafe's breakfast has always been a favorite of ours. We've been ordering from them for years and really enjoy their croissants, Nutella bun, and all the sweet breakfast options. The iced Spanish Granada is fantastic, and my husband loves their breakfast burrito. However, I'm not a big fan of their lunch items."

"I regularly stop by this restaurant for lunch on Saturdays. The service is always friendly and fast, and the food is both above average and affordable. Our favorite appetizers are the French onion soup and the 'flash roast' brussel sprouts with bacon crumbles. Both are excellent. We usually split the delicate reuben sandwich, which is served with fresh corned beef on roasted marble rye. The manager often checks in to ensure everything is going well. The decor is warm and inviting, with several dining rooms making it perfect for groups. Mike and Jason provide friendly and efficient service. I highly recommend trying the Red Sangria. Parking is available on the street or a block away from the station."

"Hidden gem for sure! They were able to accommodate my boyfriend and I, no reservation on a Friday busy night. Food has an Asian twist- very fresh and was delicious. The hostess was bubbly and attentive while we waited to be seated. Melissa visited our table and made sure we were having a good time and that everything was as good. I couldn't recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back!"

"We had a really fun night here. They have a lovely outdoor dining area with heat lamps and beautiful little white lights overhead. Our server was so sweet and helpful. Their garlic knots are delicious.... be careful not to eat to many because suddenly I was super full and dinner hadn't even arrived. But I pushed thru. Obviously. Lol. Everything we ordered was delicious. The Bolognese was my favorite. The sauce ratio was perfection. The bread pudding was also delicious."

"Was in the area and decided to see what is near to lunch. This situation was found and decided to try it out. The owner drove the place himself and is so beautiful and super attentive. You can say he really wants his customers to enjoy themselves. The Kajunfries were AMAZING! I highly recommend getting the bigger size, especially if you? re-sharing, not to worry about, is nothing from the relationship. I shared the shrimp-po-boy with my husband and it was amazing! But even more amazing were the lemon fenders. They're not pictured because they were gone in seconds. The dry rub was so good, definitely fresh in the house. Everything was super crispy, so you don't have to ask for things that were done well. If you show in the area that this place is a love. You will not be disappointed!"

"chicken cabob eat absolutely delicious. the chicken is incredibly delicate and tasteful. the jalapeño cilantro hummus was very tasty. perfect amount of food with salad and pita. great tasting, light meal. her meal is not complete with the taste buds draping pistachio baklava. the kitchen was huge about my visit and perfected a good number of meals. it is a wonderful product for the popularity of hummus house. excellent attentive, warm, welcoming staff."

"This is a terrible situation. If and when you come here to drink, please be careful or bring a chaperone. This happens when you drink on flights. They fill you with alcohol and don't know? re limits. I mean, I understand people are adults and should know what they are? I'll do it. But honestly, if your senses are obstructed, it is difficult to make decisions and the bar station should be trained enough to know when you stop serving alcohol to the cartridges that you are wasted. I understand that they want their tips, but really up to the point where you carefree about other well-being. A company should take care of their customers and not just see them as money. I hope and pray that everything will be fine with this guy. These are two incidents I know about because the bar serves alcohol. Someone should sue them if they continue. They also adhere"
