"For years we have been making a carnival holiday in Hinterzarten and until last year we have always been home guests in the Schwarzwaldhof; details about the hotel and the restaurant I am saving at this point, that can be all on the Internet under [here link] also the menu. Especially at the carnival time (or even at Christmas) there is a lot of going on in hints and in most restaurants you have to get really luck without booking; this applies both at lunchtime and in the evening. Individuals or couples may have luck; Groups are odd. We ate the peasant vesper plate at the peasant stable of the Schwarzwaldhof in the afternoon; as they already know and at the price of just EUR 7.00, this plate is already almost unbeatable. Two slices of coarse liver and bloodworm, each two slices of swarms, bacon and black forests of hamspeck, onion rings, cucumbers and dark peasant bread. Tastes really very good and is saturating until evening when you brush the plate completely. Here the price/performance ratio is really very harmonious; for all dishes, especially from the lunch or evening ticket, this does not apply in the Schwarzwaldhof. And for me a little manko on the edge: there is no red house but Fürstenberg! The ambience in the peasant stüble is extremely rustic and somewhat antiqued in the other restaurant rooms. The rooms are okay; above all we liked the tower room with skybed very well! Our serviceman in the Stüble was, first of all, talkable, and straight to a Lexicon on two legs; for hours, I wouldn't have carried him, good friend back or back!"

"Whenever we land as carnivals refugees in the Hochschwarzwald, one of our absolutely safe starting stations of the Hinterzartener Engel , corresponding GG reports are available. In terms of cleanliness and ambience, there are no changes compared to the previous year. my bubble didn't put me and for drinking this time was not enough opportunity, because the reserved table was only available to us for just two hours. Of course, I'm a cat friend of mine about the well-being of Hauskater Leo, who had smiled around me more intensively two years ago, before a Dutch guest complained about this flaky cashmere! remove it from the guest room reads, inquired. Why did Caniden say dogs of any caliber and any size in the angel have allowed access to the guest rooms during the actual station owner? But as I learned from a reliable source, Leo is well; as his master, chief and chef, Mr. Steibert, he is also supposed to have set up annual rings, like those who are well-being, and now have a tiger-powered mate. Nice! Mr. Steiert we have seen, with Kater Leo we rely on the spoken word: in terms of ambience and cleanliness, absolutely nothing had happened to the last visits; the service at our table was this time a young lady who was unknown to us until then; the quality of service we know and appreciated was absolutely not affected. On the topic of drinking and eating: during the last two years the angel had always been an absolutely safe bank and had practically discarded us by its consistently high kitchen quality from our previous year's favorite, the Imbery . Of course, this year we were also convinced to land the perfect hit here, but the top spot of our this year's Carnival refugee Hochschwarzwald's Gastro Tour remained Mr. Steiert and his angel this time failed. What shall not know that everything was next; to this is that kitchen level of the angel is now really too high. Food and drink: In the absence of Averna, my wife drank a semi-dry sherry EUR 4.20 and a red from the Joachim Heger winery, Sieingen, Kaiserstuhl 0.25l EUR for 6.50 . My aperitif consisted of a Fürstenberg Pils 0.5l for EUR 3.50 and for dinner I took a Grauburgunder from the aforementioned Heger winery 0.25l for EUR 6.00. The Heger wines are well known, and my Fürstenberg was also. My wife was more hungry than me; as an appetizer, she was looking for Carpaccio from the front forests of Rind with a Salatbouquet Eur 12,50. I didn't want an appetizer. I, like you, was admitted to serving me at the salad buffet, which I did. As a main dish, she chose self-made table laces with herbal cucumber and roast potatoes EUR 13.50 and I decided on her advice for the fish plate Engel EUR 19.00 selected by her last visit. From Carpaccio as well as from the Sülze I was allowed to taste as always; tastefully for me both no revelations, while you both tasted really well. Do you think my papillas have suffered? I don't know. The fact that the roast potatoes, here also called burials, weren't really chewed, not necessarily the boars, that we agreed. Also, that the noodles to my fish dish were unfortunately not self-made, but came out of the bag and were also quite muddy and that the adored white wine sauce was unfortunately only to be seen from the crowd. Maybe not so bad, because she tasted pretty bad overall. The coup de grace speaks the mercy blow to my fish plate, however, gave the saiblings fillet. trout, salmon trout and charling were all fried on the skin and therefore also beautifully glazed. I can't explain what the kitchen was riding to salt the saibling felt so mercilessly that I had to leave it after the first bite. I don't think that Mr Steiert is young; maybe one of his chefs? But why not salt everything in the same way? No matter; Swallow over it, only the same high star rating for the food sector I can not give this time at the best will. Conclusion: We will come back next year; a unique kitchen slipper does not discourage us. And next year we will convince ourselves by Kater Leo's personal eye certificate and of his new tiger mate of course! And hope for the usual high kitchen performance!"

"Actually, after the final dinner last year, we had taken care of eating at the Parkhotel Adler on the first holiday evening in 2018, which did not work; for the second evening we got the desired table. On ambience and cleanliness, I have left myself in the last report (see how I am going to be adequately; in both areas, nothing has changed since last year. Service: The service manager, who had so pleasantly looked after us last year, has either changed within the house or is no longer there; we have not seen it. However, there was nothing to be expected from Mrs Brosch, who was responsible for our table this time; like everyone at Parkhotel Adler-Team, with whom we had to do so far, it was also at all professionalism of pleasant unattended kindness. That she had to tell us at the beginning that the Munderking snails (they had tasted particularly good to my wife during the last visit and we had therefore chosen them for this time already as an appetizer, unfortunately, for this time they can really nothing and therefore I like to forgive four stars for the service sector. Food and drink: My wife drank her averna at the beginning as usual (4cl EUR 6.00 and then a Fürstenberg Pils (0.3l EUR 3.50). I first tried a Borbecker Dunkles (0,3l EUR 3,50 which was not so necessarily my case. After wine, I did not feel that evening and after the Borbecker I turned to Fürstenberg Kristallweizen (EUR 5.50). After the snails were not available this evening as an appetizer, my wife ordered field salad (EUR 10,00 and as main dish Wiener Schnitzel (EUR 21,80). I chose the Hubertus Menu (Brazed rabbit spine with root vegetables salad Wild boar sausages with cream wesing sworn pumpkin and currant dessert for EUR 35.00 . If I had seen what was coming to me, I would certainly have chosen half the peasant who I had in great memory from the previous year, or another dish. Right. Apart from the presentation of her appetizer, which she had imagined somewhat different and not so simple, my wife was very satisfied with her orders; above all the calf carving was of selected good quality and perfectly prepared. When I had the first run of my menu in front of me, I thought I had something in my eyes. With all love; what I had in front of me on the plate was even very clear for an appetizer. Two very thin strips of rabbit back crossed by an almost transparent touch of bread and stored on a Klecks root vegetable salad . The two rabbit fragments completely overgart, the bread tasted after nothing and the root vegetables after nothing. An absolute malice, for such a work, can be different and I do not want to call it a single court EUR 16,50. To put little taste was at my main dish. From the crowd, the two small sausages would be settled under seniors; tastefully they were very good, but for me they were for me, who at sausages I appreciate the really rough peasant sausages over everything, from consistency to fine. Rahmwirsing was good for this; the sworn pumpkin and, above all, the currants (johannisbeeren zu Bratwürsten? I think I'm gonna cry! I really wouldn't have needed it. The dessert was tastefully so inconspicuous that I even forgot the name. It's not important. Overall, I could not be satisfied with this menu, especially since it has not been worth EUR 35.00 from my point of view, but at best EUR 25.00. After the kitchen performance, which was very pleased to us last year, thanks to my menu and because of my wife's carving, just three stars. In spite of this, we will probably also spend an evening in the Wirtshus again in 2019 in the hope of the kitchen performance we used there. Value for money: For drinks and carvings in order; the field salad was something and the menu was much too expensive. It is clear that this does not remain without depreciation; more than three stars are not inside this time. Conclusion: The kitchen this time at least for me not in high shape; a pity."

"I evaluate the hotel on the one hand and on the other a little the restaurant that is also available for non-hotel guests. the alemannenhof is called boutiquehotel, whatever that can mean. the building style is one of a large black forest house, but the rooms are absolutely modern (including with open shower in the room,) the rooms to the lake all have a spacious balcony with magnificent views. the bets were not my favorites, but they are qualitatiw in order. the cleanliness is about every doubt, the staff very (but not zimt) friendly and helpful. at the reception there is a bar area (incl. a large balcony,) the service here is good, but not all desires regarding cocktails are fulfilled here, but serves a small break under the day, or a short drink while waiting for his wife. the parking space is spacious and divided into an area in front and a side of the hotel, unfortunately these parking spaces are all unimaginable. the restaurant area, which is also the breakfast room at the same time, is very spacious and is distributed over a total of 4 rooms which are open to each other, as well as an outside area which invites to an early part in the free space at warm temperatures. the table distances are pleasantly generous, the plant new, but in rustic style among other things with flute oven. the breakfast is very rich, which I noticed especially positiw is the very high quality of rolling and the broth, which unfortunately is often also a manko with high quality hotels. the service is also perfect here. the lunch table is slightly lighter and differentiated from dinner, but the quality is extremely high. here I would like to have the drinks on the table be a bit faster (also in the sense of more sales for the house,) otherwise also here absolute satisfaction, eating came quickly and was very good! the evening meal is qualitatiw fantastic, the wine selection international and very good, with I always like to drink local wine, especially in baths. what was wrong with me is that there was always a menu and two meat and fish dishes. individual desires of the supplements were fast and unproblematic, but after there is no additional day card, they have tried everything after a short time. because everything was absolutely fresh and in best quality (the meat was a dream of tenderness) I know that they can not offer 47 dishes like a Konvienie food temple, but a little more variance would be appropriate. I guess for vegans they would have been a little magic in the kitchen, but on the map I found nothing. below the hotel there is a direct access to the lake (here you can also get directly into a round boat) with an old boat house, on which lie and hammocks lie and enjoy the view. service is not available, so drink better at the bar. beyond that is also a wellness area, but I didn't test it or look at it, so I can't say anything about it."
