"I am so happy that I found this place. In the heart of Hoboken you can find this hidden gem. I love how affordable this place is, I love how attentive and hospitable the staff are! And the food is amazing! My favorite is the grilled skirt steak with shrimp and the mango smoothie! During my first visit I had this dish with a side of maduros, rice and beans. They have an amazing garlic sauce to pair the dish with you can ask for it on the side but make sure you add lime to the steak and the garlic sauce on top of it. The second visit my sister had the chicken with shrimp and garlic sauce it was good too. And the tres leches was great as well. You must check this place out!"

"This place gets the job done. It's not the best pizza in town, not that they claim to be, but when you need someplace close and quick this place can be great. The staff is friendly and they'll make your pizza how you like. They know me well enough now to know I like my pizza well done. They even ask me if I'm okay with how it's cooked when I get there. They also have good chicken fingers, buffalo chicken sandwich and the burger isn't too bad too. Most importantly the price here is perfect for what you get. Just know you need cash but if you don't have cash just order online, they get the order quite quick."

"Wanted to bring my son to one of my favorite spots in Hoboken after a long day in the city. Glad we went. For years, the Optimistic roll has been my favorite... so we had that. He also had some noodles, and we ordered a couple of other rolls. The food was delicious and fresh, and the server (forgot her name) was super attentive and patient with my 12 year old. I think the other roll is called on the water or something to that effect.I hope you stop by and give them a shot, you 'll be glad you did! Enjoy!"

"Beatiful Saturday afternoon have to be outside drinking a beer. They a lot of outdoor seating both in their courtyard and other side of street around the corner. Got seated promptly by hostess and server was right over. Had about a dozen beers on tap and other selections of drinks and bottled beer. Pretzel was fresh and hot as well."

"we came here with a large group before the time booked and the service was amazing. all their dishes were delicious. highly recommended if they are vegetarian because they try to put their best to them and make the court vegetarian. in addition, this location is so favorable. highly recommended. all the dishes were great, but tofu krapow and her green curry was really from the world. I don't even like green curry, but I loved this!"

"The Pilsener Haus Biergarten has communal style tables, but despite that me and my husband were still able to have an intimate dinner in their outdoor seating area! For your reference, the bill for our dinner (2 beers, 1 appetizer, 2 mains, 1 dessert) was $89.57 with tax. The food was incredibly good, the fries were a bit stale and the main reason for my lower review, as I believe they should match the quality of the rest of the food if they are going to be served as a side for everything.. the potato pancakes were infinitely better in our opinion. Weirdly enough, our favorite thing from the night was the pulled pork my husband ordered, I usually don?t even like it but theirs was incredibly tender and juicy. I was skeptical about the bread pudding, but it turned out delicious."

"Haven't ordered from here for 6 years (according to my last review) and I'm really glad I gave this place another chance. I don't see many Malaysian restaurants in the area. Most are just Thai places that may have some Malaysian dishes on the menu, so I have a newfound appreciation that this is in the neighborhood. My husband and I dropped in on a Friday at around 7:30 to dine in. The place was pretty full but luckily, we didn't have to wait. To start, we ordered some kind of appetizer sampler. It had fried tofu, bean curd skin roll, and something else. It was very underwhelming. Everything tasted overly fried and dry. Thankfully, the entrees were much better. I ordered the Char Kueh Teow and it was really good. Better than some other Malaysian restaurants in Chinatown. They use broad flat noodles here, which I love whereas I'm used to this dish being made with the thinner ones. It was a nice upgrade. Hubby had the Beef Redang. The curry sauce was great but I don't normally love braised beef because it tends to be chewy and/or dry. Def want to come back and explore some of the other Malaysian specialties they have to offer."

"If you want some authentic ramen noodles this is the spot. I got the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen Noodles and Tonkotsu Red Ramen Noodles. Both were delicious. The red ramen is very spicy. I also got Steam Dumplings and Ice 3Q Milk Tea 3Q. Both were delicious as well. I really like the milk tea. It's a little pricey but it's so worth it. The staff was very friendly as well."

"Bad customer service. We arrived at 9:30pm and they close at 10pm. Pretty much we were rush to order because. The fries were cold, the chicken breast was hard as rock, like when the chicken still frozen and they still fried it, the shake was extremely super sweet. It’s hard to understand the state of New Jersey, people want to make money but they never want to work. We went because of the reviews but it was awful, the whole experience was bad, food and service. If you are from here you might like it because that’s the NJ normal, but if you are from out state don’t wasted your money."

"A group of girlfriends and I decided to try this spot out and I was looking forward to it. When I arrived I had to circle the area a bit and finally found a parking spot. The place was cute and they had indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors and it was a closed in area with heaters and filters in each of them and it was a cool idea. Pedro was our waiter and he was good and had a good memory. I ordered the vegan Bodega sandwich which had Just eggs, beyond sausage and violife cheese on a roll and it was pretty good. The girls had different items all around and they liked their meals. For a drink I ordered the vodka tonic which the bartender messed up by putting in seltzer instead. Pedro fixed it himself and it came out good. The bill was reasonable and gratuity was included of 20%. I definitely will be back to try more vegan option meals."

"I'll do the good first: The fried bananas were good and the coconut rice! We've been searching for decent chicken satay since Satay Malaysian closed. this is NOT it. Watery peanut sauce, zero spice and I can't handle a lot of spice so if I'm saying it's not spicy it's lacking flavor. Just overall disappointed and I won't tell you how much money I wasted on this."

"Worst dining experience of my life. Set up a reservation, was placed at a table and nobody ever came to ask for our drink or food order. I had to go back up to the front desk after 20 minutes to ask for service. The owner took our order and finally brought us our wine. Nobody ever came over to ask if we needed anything else, the food took forever to come out. The food actually was very good but what a frustrating experience I had to do all the work other than make the food myself. On the way out, a server bumped into me with a plate of spaghetti and got it on my jacket. Good food, awful experience."

"This Indian restaurant offers tasty and flavorful meals, but it is relatively expensive for a street food type of place. The portions are small, and even five different dishes costing $42 in total did not seem enough to feed two people, and they did not. Despite the higher price and small portions, the food is undeniably delicious! One thing to watch out for is the spiciness of the dishes. I opted for mild, but it turned out to be spicier than I expected, so be careful. Apart from the spiciness, the flavors are exceptional! My ultimate favourite is Bhel Puri a dish made of puffed rice, some cucumber, onions and chutney. When it's freshly done, it's supposed to be a bit crunchy (which was not the case unfortunately), however it was simply amazing! I would order that again. The Vegetarian Manchurian and Punjabi Chicken pieces were also exquisite.Although the food is fantastic, the portion sizes do not match the price, I feel it's a bit too much. But saying that, the menu is intriguing enough for me to stop by and try something else sometimes in the future. Visited in July 2023. Paid by card."

"I can’t understand how this place got such amazing reviews. First of all their service was pretty bad. Took forever to take our order, the waiter was basically waiting the entire place it seemed like. Completely understaffed. Then as expected he got my order wrong, I ended up with chicken shawarma which was pretty dry and also the bread was burnt. He did give me the lamb meatballs I actually ordered on the house which was pretty nice of him, but they were like eh, and every little thing we needed we had to ask for, like bread for table, ketchup, etc. so I Would not recommend. Sorry."

"Plenty of seating with a beachy vibe. Lattes were delicious. The staff here is extremely kind and patient. They allowed us to change seats to be closer to the window. It’s a nice place especially because it’s near the beach. Food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back."

"Really good classic Italian hoagie with just the right touch of something extra. Went during the day and got a sandwich for a happy hour price so that was definitely a plus. I’m not usually a fan of mutz but I gave it a try here and I can barely taste it. Everything on the sandwich just flows together. Definitely recommend to anyone stopping in Hoboken. Only sad part is I wish they were open later, but definitely worth the midday trip."

"I’m in love with this restaurant and most importantly the staff. The food is always delicious and comforting. The host and cooks are extremely friendly and caring. Id make it a point to try their stew’s for this chilly weather. The lamb shank does not disappoint at all. Stop by it’s worth it!"

"The best place to go with small kids! Great, friendly staff and the food is consistently good! We have been to this place a lot so that’s a review in and of itself. After having a little one it has been difficult to find places to accommodate having a stroller. Urban has been so amazing with not just having one stroller but accommodating several moms with several strollers."

"I love a unique concept! Alfalfa has it figured out, and I can see why it's so popular, especially since there are always so many takeout orders in her area. I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because many of the toppings come at an extra cost, which can add up quickly. Additionally, I feel that sometimes there isn’t quite enough variety in the toppings. It’s not that they skimp on them; rather, I just expected a bit more variety for the price, especially considering how little I paid for the salad base."
