"I don't like writing negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant on my birthday, October 18, 2022, was very disappointing. We didn't receive our dinner until around 8:30, even though we had a reservation for 7:15, and we didn't get our drinks until after our entrees. The service was very slow and it was difficult to get the attention of the servers. The cocktail tasted strange and was lukewarm. Aside from the chili chicken, which was mostly good, all of the food had an unpleasant taste. Even the papadum was overpowering, and the basmati rice had a taste that was almost like mold or heavily chlorinated water. The flavors were unbalanced, lacking salt, tang, or being too sweet. It's possible that the dishes were prepared to suit regional or more Americanized tastes, but I found them to be off or even spoiled. The staff did accommodate my seating request and were fairly friendly, but it seemed they prioritized takeout orders over in-house patrons. It was a very unfortunate experience. Proceed with caution if booking a table here."

"Went with the family for Mother's Day so you can imagine it was busy. Had a reservation and table was ready within 5 minutes after we arrived. Very nice decor. Service was excellent, food was delicious with a wonderful varied brunch menu. Something for everyone as we have a vegetarian and 2 with food allergies. They were very attentive to our needs and happy to do so. Would highly recommend and we are looking forward to going back soon!"

"Not professional at all. From bad attitude to wearing a robe when working at the restaurant. I delivery for several platforms and this restaurant service by far one of the worst. "our goal was to support a black family business. it was our first time here so ordered online to eat on Friday at approx. 5:40 clock for an approx. 6:30 clock pickup, but our order was not ready until 7:20 clock. they were made of maisbrot, so they left our food in a bag on the theke until it was finished and did not offer a free drink or a side for our waiting. my food was cold when I came home (5 minutes away,) and the cornbrot was not worth it, it had waited to berries zero blue and was so dry I almost crocheted! the fish dinner came with 3 baby size pfeifen (like filets of goldfish) and it was funky smell without any spice (consulting: use vinegar to clean the bacteria from their fish before they cook it). the bark meat breeze was shrunk (instead of thick cut as the photos) dry, tasteless and fat. a 1lb order of the gay baby back ribs were a total of 4 small ribs for $24. the kale had zero seasonal absolutely bland (they could have used at least salt!) then I had to return to the restaurant because they had forgotten the mac and the cheese, 20 minutes waiting for us to give it to us without a bag or a offer of free refreshment or something for all our labors. do not wash their purse or their time here! this business does not appreciate its customers and must listen to the repeated complaining, then implement changes to improve the quantity and quality of their food, customer experience and the entire customer service. we never go back!"

"I wouldn't give it any stars if I could the food was legit the worst I've ever had I got the chicken kabob platter and stuffed grape leaves the chicken kabob platter was disgusting the chicken tasted boiled and was so dry it tasted three days old the baba ganoush had a strong smoked flavor that was very unpleasant the rice was drenched in oil and the grape leaves had a really weird flavor I don't understand how this place got a 4 stars my food didn't even look like the pictures don't eat there there's better options this place is trash"

"This restaurant hasn't changed much except for the positive reviews. I paid $13 for two large vanilla cones dipped in chocolate. These prices are actually higher than getting two large gelatis at Rita's Italian Ice, and I prefer Rita's. It's incredible how inflation has impacted the prices."

"Terrible service. I called 20 minutes ago to place an order and the girl hung up on me. I call back she’s laughing and having a conversation and doesn’t acknowledge that I’m on the phone until I said hello several times. I finally place my order and I get to the restaurant and they tell me they didn’t receive a call. I I told them the number I called and literally repeated everything they said to me … they’re response was “well we don’t have cabbage or plantains anyway”. They never said that when I placed my order. The owner is just as bad as the employees. No apologies, no acknowledgement, no nothing. Everyone go to TOP TASTE next door. Better service and food."

"My husband and self ordered for the first time today and was very pleased with the food, the female driver that delivered our food had a very pleasant attitude I really liked her and want her to always deliver our food she was funny she made us laugh we would give Brooklyn Pizza five stars we will definitely order from there again and will request the lady to bring her food as well, to top it off we asked her name she said the party that was hilarious."
