"Great food with a very neat ambiance. The food has a little kick to it. I had the blackened chicken and had to keep drinking water in between bites. Not horrible where it ruined the taste, just something to note. My boyfriend had the Italian sausage pasta and said it had a little kick as well. The shrimp is nice size, almost seemed like two put together. We had the tomato soup and it was beyond delicious, not sure how they spruced up tomato soup like that. Really enjoyed this restaurant."

"The Blues Cafe offers a small town with friendly staff and a clean restaurant. Blues Cafe is a great place to go to any meal. We went to breakfast and I got Blue's Skillet. It was delicious and filled! But I had to get some cake and a cheesecake with silk cake that hit my sweet tooth and wanted me more. Would come back!"

"Jaenicke is my white castle. We live in St. Joseph, Illinois, and because their reds are like cracks on a bun, I and my friends make random road trips in summer to go all the way up to a Jaenicke's fix. Better than any gourmet restaurant, this place is amazing food, good people and classic Americana. If they ever close, I could just die."

"Everytime we stay in Kankakee we come here. Although disappointed their buffet is still not available their food is amazing. The taste is on a more authentic side which is what we always search for. Can't beat the service either. Very welcoming if they don't have something on the menu they'll try to accomodate you as best they can. It's a must to check out."

"Like all Carlos’ restaurants can be met or miss, but most of the time their food is absolutely fantastic. The recent visit for me they had a banana bread French Toast Special. It's what's shown was absolutely fantastic. Delicious, without adding anything. All fruits, caramel and cream cheese in the middle makes it excessively sweet, but it is not at all. It's the perfect amount of sweet. The time before I had the regular French toast, which was also delicious. Pretty good coffee."

"$18 dinner buffet Foam plates and bowls, cups... plastic utensils. Ok food... The usual selections. Didn 't notice anything visually to complain about... So that 's good. I WAS highly disappointed with their General Tso 's I 'm a semi truck driver and parked around back. You can pull your truck around from either side of the plaza but I recommend coming in from the west entrance/street light."

"Overall our experience was not good. We barely saw our waitress. Me and another person in our group got a ribeye sandwich it was not good at all. All we tasted was burnt and char. My boyfriend got a chicken pot pie. It was an overcooked piece of pita set over what looked like just watery chicken soup with veggies in it. It was just not a good experience."

"Absolutely poor customer service. I walk in and there is one person in front of me, getting a door dash order. A lady walks in after me and sits down. The guy gets his door dash and the woman behind the counter did not even acknowledge me, left from behind the counter, goes to sit in the booth with the woman that came in after me and proceeds to look at something on her phone. I stand there for a couple minutes, still no acknowledgment from ANYONE, AS IF I was totally invisible, so I walked out. Ridiculous... at least say I'll be with you in a moment or SOMETHING. I will never return."

"Make it. I'm in the kee. And I'm hungry. The only thing that's open is THE GOLDEN ARCHES. My dad proposed this place. He never leads me wrong, so I was open to try. And what a good TRY it was!!! Nice to see how people wear masks. We're STILL in the middle of a pandemic. Not many people inside to be so socially removed was easy, but only enough waited in the car to be prepared for our food. We were on our way for 10 minutes. W-I-N-I-N-G!!! The food was hot. The frits were tasty, they didn't have to add salt. The shrimps were well seasoned, I was happy about it. I did not eat the cut bread, I had enough carbs swallowed I was good-good!!! The preparation time was fast and this was very appreciated when I left. Friendly staff. Private parking. Fair prices. Good portion sizes. I'd visit again... next time I'll try the fish."

"I haven't eaten here in a long time. Mom had the lemon rice soup, but she found it practically inedible. I tasted it, and the taste of lemon overwhelmed anything else that might have been in it. I got the Italian beef sandwich. The flavor was good, but the meat was very tough. The person who took our order wasn't very friendly. I didn't see him smile at us or anyone else the whole time we were there. It will probably be a while before I try this place again."

"This Mexican restaurant hasn't disappointed! My father ordered ahead (so someone wanted to know if you can specify an order/order, yes you can!) and when we arrived, everything was already done (apart from the French Pommes, but they did not last long; so the food is prepared and ready quite quickly. Time can vary, but relatively fast I would say. The food tasted good, hot and ready we have tacos they were great! They're also an ice shop! After dinner we got dessert and the ice cream is fantastic! They have all kinds of flavors and different ways to choose from. Overall great experience and good food, I would try and eat here again."

"I had my wedding catered by The County Table and it was fantastic. The communication was great and the food was AMAZING. We had Chicken, Italian Beef, and Lasagna as our main dishes, and they were all delicious. The Garlic Cheesy Potatoes were heavenly, and the macaroni salad, green beans with bacon, and tossed salad were also very good. The fruit and veggies were fresh and tasty. The lady who served us at the event was very sweet. I highly recommend The County Table for catering your wedding or any event. The food is truly amazing."
