"The waitress greeted me seconds after I came in, and after the order it literally took less than 7 minutes and I had my food. Didn't even read all the comics in the newspaper. Admittedly, it was not exactly busy, but in my experience, sometimes the food takes longer when it is not busy compared to when it is busy. The food was great! And super cheap!. I spent 12.00 with a very generous tip on the small bill. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, bacon and hash brown with one side toast. Ordered at 11:01. I have my food at 11:08. Ate, paid the bill and was at my planned meeting 3 blocks away before 11:30. Was ready to eat, even a while with the waitress who was VERY smart!! Kudos to the young lady because I will definitely be back for her. I'm sad I never have her name. (She usually doesn't work on Mondays. Usually only weekends. I suggest the owners give her a nice raise (or I can try to poke them for another position! I love small city breakfast and lunches, and I usually don't watch places I didn't like because I work in the industry. If I have a problem, I won't put it on Yelp or whatever they have now, I'll tell the people who are messed up and give them a chance to fix it. But Monday morning I was already stressed, and the food and the conversation made my day better. (It renewed my belief in the youth of today, which will lead the city / business / schools, etc. Thank you! I really needed this dose of reality today. Especially with all the strange and terrible things we all have to deal with lately. Five stars. Put your hands down."
