"So good! The lemon blueberry cake had the best fluffy whipped cream frosting that was a bit of a mess by the time I got to it on my train ride, but was a fantastic dairy equivalent. I can't wait to come back to Koblenz some day to try more cakes and their breakfasts. The tofu scramble looked very tasty. Everything I saw coming out of the kitchen was nicely played and looked very inviting. On a warm summer morning, the out door tables will be a great place to spend the day. Super close to the train stations as well. What a great time to be vegan around there! Also has a Thai restaurant next door that I was told had great vegan food fwiw."

"Selten so gut gegessen... wir hatten als Vorspeise Spare Ribs und das Rinder Carpaccio. Beides ein äußerst guter Einstieg zum 250g perfekt medium rare gegrillten Rinderfilet. Wirklich perfekt getroffen, aussen dunkle Kruste, innen rosa, butterzart und der Teller schön blutig. Die Pfeffersoße hatte richtig Pfiff und auch die potato skins waren knusprig und lecker. Für prähistorische Fleischliebhaber wie mich eine absolute Empfehlung. Auch der Espresso danach war aromatisch und heiß. Das Tiramisu und der Walnusseis- Rumtopf waren einer süße Sünde zum Abschluss mehr als würdig. Der Service war schnell und freundlich, bei vollem Restaurant, Toiletten sehr sauber."

"We went there on a Thuesday evening for dinner drinks. And that is what we got. We enjoyed the Happy-hour (before P.M on the cocktails, which gave us the oportunity to choose from the (extremely) elaborate cocktail map, have some delicious and decent...size cocktails, and only pay each. We also ate here. You can choose from a large variety of (western)mexican food, as well as pizza's. We loved the mexican burrito's and salads, which were light, and plenty, and not pricy . Just as we liked it. The atmosphere is relaxed, vivid and welcoming. It's a shame we don't live near by. We would love to come here every week."

"We were only in Koblenz for night so we asked at our hotel for a recommendation for good German food. We were given several choices but told that SauBar is where the locals go and is the best. The restaurant sits back from a...main square which made the Biergarten quiet and inviting. We chose to sit outside which was very relaxing. The service was great with a friendly waitress who was always timely. The outside tables have large umbrellas which came in very handy when it started to sprinkle and then rain. This did NOT dampen our mood or our meal. We both ordered the Schnitzel which was excellent!!! A very memorable meal and evening. Hope someday to be able to return. Well worth flying to Europe for"

"We had dinner with 6 people in the Winninger Weinstube on the December 1st weekend. Luckily we had reserved in time as this restaurant is extremely popular and numerous guests had to be turned away in a friendly manner during our stay. The service staff was very attentive and knew how to impress with the wine advice. We had to wait a reasonable amount of time for the freshly prepared food. The food was really tasty, of very good quality and offered in good portions. We felt we were in good hands at the Winninger Weinstube and will definitely come back on our next visit to Koblenz. Thanks to the entire Weinstube team for a successful evening."

"A Greek in a rowing club, no kitsty gods at the entrance, well we had to try that. We were in Koblenz for business and were looking for a restaurant on Sundays. Relatively retaining and possibly adapted to the corporate design of the rowing club. We would be kindly received on the first floor and accompanied to our place. The restaurant seems to be family-run. Fast service and very attentive. From our tribal Greeks in Berlin we knew the interpretation of food offers. I asked the lady if you could do this and without hesitation there was a compilation of individual food according to my idea. Grilled Peperoni an absolute recommendation and commitment. Pita bread with garlic and a delicious bifteki juwetzi with cheese baked and metaxasauce as well as I know it from home. Thanks for the willingness and excellent service to implement this. A lot of success and strength for the new season. Best regards from Berlin"

"This place was recommended to me, so I was looking forward to some nice Italian cooking and good service. Unfortunately, I found the owner everything but welcoming or friendly. There were four of us at the table. The owner took orders, making a mistake with...mine main. I was brought a dish I had not ordered, but what shocked me more was that when I bit into one of the tortellini, it was fridge-cold! Frozen and microwaved food in a Trattoria? Very disappointing. When I brought to the waiter's attention that this was not what I ordered (I never even got the chance to mention that it was also stone cold! , it was quickly taken away. My dish came some 10 minutes later, without a single word of apology, while I sat and watched the rest of my group eating. Not a nice experience and I won't be coming back or recommending to others."

"After we were in this restaurant, it was the last time today. on the occasion of the 30th birthday we have eaten there. a small beer was ordered, a large beer was brought, the other drinks were brought to the table after ordering. in my hof zatziki was forgotten to spend with. for the 2 grill plates was frech 1 spione, although 2 on the menu was not output. in the case of asking it would be a serious one, but we would still get it as a withdrawal. the empty ouzoglsser had not been removed all the time. the birthday surprise was not brought to the table as last year. probably only some stolen customers this surprise. also the simple operation makes to wish. the restaurant is more expensive. never again to syrtaki!"

"In the middle of the town of Koblenz you can find good parking in the Görresplatz car park. Open 24/7. That's it. hour: 1.50 EUR, night rate (20.00 p.m. : each beginning. An hour 0,80 EUR max 4,00 EUR A typical Greek, as it is imagined, but without having a cheesy effect. Decentral wall painting, lighting, decorations etc. Nice atmosphere to sit and enjoy. The restaurant is divided into various seating/separations and in summer a small outdoor area in the pedestrian zone. On the wall are seat benches which are well padded. The chairs are a bit 'sub optimal'. Especially when the 'derrière' is going to eat from a lot is a bit wider; The lateral webs can press slightly during longer sitting. We know the service only courtesy, courteous, attentive and promt. Special requests do not remain unfulfilled. Our food choice fell: Saganaki €5.90 panned, baked sheep cheese with white bean salad and peperoni. The panade crispy, cheese not too soft, wise beans slightly sour as they should be and altogether well tasted. Piperies Florinis €5,80 skinned and grilled red peppers filled with homemade fresh cheese. The paprika is on the tongue! And the fresh cheese is very well tasted. You, in my case, woman, should be just not so greedy and order twice the serving (as main dish thought. But still divine! Stifado €15,00 lamb with onions. Also the meat is broken on the tongue and the onions give the necessary apron. Bread is served. On the photo already crumbles into the meat sauce. Drink choice: St. Laura 0,25l €4,00 Nausa 0,25l €4,20 Demestica 0,25l €4,00 Cappuccino €2,50 Conclusion; time and again worth the ride to the town of Koblenz. Not only for shopping!"

However, we had the misfortune of being turned into the butt of a joke between our server, Michel, and four elderly women, who assumed that I couldn't understand what they were saying about us. I understand that it can be annoying to deal with foreigners, however, there is absolutely no excuse to make fun of the people that are supporting your place of work. My wife and I ate here when we came from North America. The food was very good and well prepared. "If I didn't have the place on my screen before, it's more often in the closer selection. The burgers are fresh and super leaks. There is a wide selection and especially options that do not offer other stores. Would it be the sweet potatoes (which we find far too rare), chili cheese or gluten-free burgers etc. There is something for every taste. The services are idR super friendly and flott. Besides the bar to the restaurant on the ground floor there is also a stage on the regular concerts and other events."

Why only 4 stars? caused by the preparation of the steak. it was good, but not very good (too little rested and the resistance past the tip.) the wc has earned 5 stars plus.
