"We celebrated our granddaughter's high school graduation and completion of her first year of college at this restaurant because we have had excellent service and delicious food in the past. This visit did not disappoint! The food, service, and atmosphere all met our expectations. Although we had hoped for the server to do something special to acknowledge our granddaughter, that did not happen. Nonetheless, we had a wonderful evening and our celebration went as planned."

"It?s delicious coffee and nice friendly staff. Food is tasty, though the food menu is a bit limited. A double (shot) latte is stronger than the equivalent Starbucks drink, so head to head, I would choose Peet?s. The ability to get a free specialty coffee when ordering beans is a nice bonus. Parking in the strip mall parking is free and easy. It can get busy weekday mornings if the local bike club decides to take a stop there. If possible, order ahead on the mobile app. Four stars because now and again the egg and cheese sandwich was not fully cooked through. Be sure to check out the rear of the coffee shop for outdoor seating there?s only one table out front and few tables inside. Overall this is a nice little neighborhood coffee bar with a laid back, friendly vibe."

"I always support local businesses and have been a loyal customer of Jackson's since I moved here in 1968. Instead of giving your money to big corporate liquor stores, support local businesses like Jackson's."

"Delicious donuts worth a great old-time feel in the place. Fun experience for the kids, but remember cash ONLY! A lot of times when ordering it feels like if you don't know what you want you have to choose fast or get out of the way as they keep demanding to know what you want. I know they are busy, but a little patience (especially with kids) goes along way!"

"I used to order from this restaurant every month, but I have had a few mistakes with my orders in the past. I didn't mind at first, but now they won't fix them for me anymore. Recently, I asked the drive-thru to pick up my order quickly because it was raining, but they refused. I had to wait in line and couldn't believe they wouldn't hand me my order from the same kitchen that was visible through the window. This experience has been very disappointing and I won't be returning."

"This charming little restaurant offers outstanding service. The sushi is incredibly fresh and practically melts in your mouth, with no unpleasant fishy taste or chewy texture. We tried a variety of rolls, sushi, and sashimi, and even ordered takeout, which was consistently high quality. The prices are reasonable for the location. I highly recommend it for a casual dining experience."

"I can always count on Tsunami to make me feel at home. The waiting staff never makes me bad for special order of my sushi roll, the edamame and the chocolate martini is to die. The staff is always friendly and I always see old friends there. I always go back to Lafayette. I also remember all the happy times my brother had here before he was killed to be here and see his friends make me a little closer to him. And the owners are the bomb! I recommend everyone visiting Lafayette!"

"The positives: food is pretty good if you know what to order. Service is really good. Staff is friendly and attentive. The improvements: decor and dining tables and chairs could be improved. The place needs a renovation considering it's outdated. It's also packed in pretty tight so tables are a little too close to one another. We were sitting literally right behind the hibachi chef and next to another table. Wait time was long but it was expected considering the wholeplace was packed. A busy restaurant is usually a good sign. The verdict: I recommend it. Food was good and service was great so I'd definitely come back. Maybe at a time when the place isn't super busy."

"Amazing food and bar place in Lafayette. During my stay in Louisiana Lafayette I had eaten two times out there. My experience was amazing! The food and the drinks were fantastic. This place is somewhat crowded, but still, the server managed to operate properly. We had Duck Empanada (Flaky pastries filled with roasted duck, cheese, onion and creole sauce); Crab Cake (Lump crab cake served with lemon dill aioli); Grilled Mahi-Mahi (Mahi-mahi slightly seasoned then grilled open flame. With tomato jam. Served with Brussels spices) and Cobb Salad (Romaine salad, bacon, egg, tomatoes, avocado and blue cheese crumbs. Served with honey mustard). All dishes were absolutely delicious and well presented."

"Never a misstep at this place. I love the ambiance, the food and the service. My guest and I had had a big lunch, so we decided to share an entree. After the salads, they brought the entree, perfectly divided on two plates, to us. That was the perfect amount of food. We even brought a dessert home to share later. As usual, it was a wonderful outing."

"Great find! New to the area and tried The Hideout Kitchen for the first time. Wonderful service, great drinks, and the food was delicious. The hummus and octopus appetizers were excellent. And, the churro and s’mores desserts were amazing! I was particularly impressed with the kids’ menu it’s how it should be: proper food in a smaller portion. We ordered the salmon and fruit cup for our girls. The salmon was perfectly cooked, and the fruit was a thoughtful display of prettily cut seasonal fruits in a little bowl. We’ll definitely be back!"

"One of my favorite spots in the Bay Area. The Cebiche is great! Always say yes made at home chips for the Cebiche. There are a few restaurants in this chain that I can check separately. The drinks are cold and beautiful. There is plenty of creativity with the starters, my personal favorite is: langostino crocantes... for the net, we have almost all tried so far, and top scores for everything. The shiny star is the Lomo Soltado obvious. But don't shy away from the Pescado a lo Macho! The service can be better, but at least everyone is friendly and polite. The live music on the weekend is something to be enjoyed."

"I was craving a hamburger and I'm happy to say that this restaurant exceeded my expectations! The fried Burrata was absolutely delicious, especially when paired with the crostini and squash in the sauce. The Brie Burger was also outstanding. Don't miss out on trying one of their loaded fries - we had the Parmesan garlic and it was amazing. The service was fantastic, our waiter was very attentive. I can't wait to return to this restaurant."

"We frequent this restaurant often and today we received the best service we have ever had!!! Our waiter, Kent, was exceptional!! He has served us multiple times and always remembers our orders perfectly!!! While there are other waiters who are just as good as Kent, he truly stands out from the rest!! He anticipates our needs, such as extra napkins and herbs, and always brings us additional bread!!! We rarely have to ask for anything! Our food is usually great, though there have been a few occasions where we had to send our fish back to be cooked properly, but I understand that mistakes happen in the kitchen! Today, however, was flawless!!! This is the only reason I am not giving a 5-star rating. Occasionally, the fish is overcooked, pasta is cold, needs more sauce, or the noodles are clumped together. It doesn't happen often, but it has occurred. Despite these minor hiccups, I still love coming here and greatly enjoy the service I receive!! Keep up the fantastic work!!! Looking forward to our next meal!!!!"

"This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I ordered a double Quarter Pounder with cheese meal and a Quarter Pounder with cheese meal, both with cokes. The cashier misunderstood my order and tried to charge me for two double Quarter Pounders with cheese meals. After clarifying my order, I received the correct items but noticed that I was only charged for one Quarter Pounder meal. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they were unhelpful and told me I couldn't do anything about it. The customer service at this McDonald's is terrible and the bread was stale. That's all!"

"Food was great. The atmosphere was great. The waitress we had was amazing and a breath of fresh air. The bread pudding made me cry tears of joy. I tried to put a cot on my back, but they told me that people live there where they were upset. And I mean, they have a Pelican Elvis. [Pelvis]"

"the first time and it is sucked. paid 86, phone number ends in 8155. ok, so we go to my take at 530 o'clock for a pick-up of 630 o'clock. wing in and waited as there is no organization, whose food is ready and not. Anyway, the lady asked if this is ready to eat and she said she's going to check after she submitted the bill to me, I didn't want to wait since I told them already. asks for chili sauce and seasons the dame 2 small and moves to do something I patiently waited for 2-3min and asked them if I could get more and she said they need to pay for more. I reminded them of the size of my order, but as usual greedy chineses not interested. since, this place great reviews I wanted to try to eat before I write this review, so I had pfeffer tofu under quality none like it, four season veggies were super bland, Mongolian bark was not completely boiled and sweet acid sour was too sour. Now, that makes me with Chow fun, as other 2 veg entrees were bad, I wanted the vegetarian people to have enough Cho fun. this place sucking in the middle of lafayette making fools from the local clientele with bad Chinese eating with double trips. better quality blood is half a trip to many other places."

"EDIT: Beware this location should ABSOLUTELY stay open along with the new Kaliste Saloom location being built.Always been a favorite of mine. Staff is very professional and I never have a bad experience here. I live close to it so we have frequented for years. It would be nice to see the location traffic logistics overhauled as there is the tendency for traffic to back up into the road. Everyone wants some chicken! But I do believe that the parking lot could be reconfigured and I wonder why, after so many years of traffic issues here, they do not tend to this glaring detail. Please rethink the parking and drive thru logistics. Great food and staff though!"

"Blue Dog Cafe is my absolute favorite! Second to none. The new menu is incredible! The winners of the Louisiana State Seafood Competition, the chefs Ryan Trahan and Sullivan Zant, have made their brand on Lafayette once again as they were in the legendary ice cream, Dark Roux. These talented young men are artists in the kitchen. I have eaten several times here and the food is FANTASTIC!! The service at Blue Dog Cafe is on top of the line. Travelers, locals, young and old... ALL enjoy Blue Dog Cafe on Pinhook!"
